      If you are not familiar with RC Sproul you should dedicate time to listening to a few dozen hours of his teachings. RC is one of the best teachers you could sit under.

      Ryan VanWey is absolutely correct! Every Christian should spend time with RC Sproul. He is one of two of the best teachers I've listened to. I listen to everything I can from him.

    I've tried finding other Christians to be with, and found a fellowship group, but after one woman came to us in a prayer event and was clearly in need of God. I tried to evangelise, but one of the members said, "She doesn't believe the Bible!" I could barely get a word in about the gospel. I transfered my college that day, and have not called them, but I love them. Please pray for them, that woman, and my fellowship group, and that a find some Christian friends! (I go to church, and I have one friend I can think of, but, the more the merrier!)

    Whatever happened to Sola Scriptura? This is an exposition of Augustine not Jesus or Paul. Not Sproul at his best.

    • @beroca101
      @beroca101 4 года назад +8

      It only means this part of Augustine’s teaching aligned with the Scriptures. Sola Scriptura doesn’t mean we ignore the wisdom of other saints before us. They are fallible, of course, but we can benefit, learn and gain insights from them so far as their teachings are consistent with the Scriptures.

      Sola Scriptura is not Scriptura Tabula Rasa

      Many Protestants have no idea what Sola Scriptura teaches, this is a good example of it.

    NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY WE HAVE A MOTHER OTHER THAN OUR EARTHLY MOTHER..WE PRAY TO GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AS INSTRUCTED IN THE BIBLE..NO MENTION OF A MOTHER..DON'T GIVE US THAT CATHOLIC BS..READ THE BIBLE NOT THAT FABRICATED BOOK OF YOURS

      You are just judging by the title I assume. He is saying mother only in the sense that it nurtures and provides for the soul when gathered together as the body as God call us to do. I encourage you to watch the whole sermon as it is absolutely biblically sound.

    I didn't get far into the video, but I have to respectfully disagree with what I heard. I'm disappointed because normally your videos are so enlightening.

      So, Mary didn't bore God in her womb? Jesus is true God and true man.

    • @shakespearegames5378
      @shakespearegames5378 4 года назад

      Didn't Mary carry Jesus in her womb and give birth to Him? That would make her His mother...even though he always dismissively referred to her as "woman." If he didn't need to be birthed in a human way, why did the Holy Spirit or God rape Mary (i.e. impregnate her without her knowledge or consent?)
