eMedTalk: The Gut - The Basis of Health

Designed for new providers to integrative medicine and care, between 1-3 years in practice, but may be enjoyed by any practitioner seeking to learn more regarding the intricacies of the gastrointestinal role in overall health and wellness. This course will review common gastrointestinal aliments, the role of absorption and digestion, discuss recommended treatments as well as integrative approaches to gastrointestinal concerns. Example case studies reviewing presenting symptoms and treatment will also be discussed to help the new or developing practitioner have the tools to start implementing these strategies for care in their practice by Monday.
