Wouldn't it be cool if this game had an upside down world, kind of like in Finnish folk beliefs. With very easy to pronounce name such as metsänpeitto.
@@RUclipsSucksMyCock
It has sideways worlds, if that counts?
51:13 Gets set on fire, proceeds to accidentally cover himself in a flammable substance because he got too high before and now water literally doesn't exist. I love Noita so much.
I never stopped playing Noita. you never stop randomly blowing yourself up a lot.
In my experience, you also never stop dying by getting knocked out of midair into something deadly.
I never understood why people thought Dark Souls was hard when Noita exists.
same. sometimes i get a God run, sometimes i die in the first level. Such is the way of Noita
Getting killed by a random sawblade ricocheting of some wall at a weird angle is where it's at. That or plasma just being weird and instakilling you because of too much spread.
The more I've played noita, the better I've gotten at figuring out whether a wand will kill me when I cast it. Regardless, I will always still cast said wand at least once just to be sure.
Vinny, high on mushrooms, paranoid, digging deeper into the earth in search of god and safety. We've all been there before.
He seemed very calm for someone who is paranoid
I liked it when Vinny got the Electricity+water spam+blood money perk and chose to ignore every single THICK RED BLOODY NUGGET
definitely wan't infuriated
This is my favourite roguelite of all time.

>Throws an item he just picked up

Classic Vinny. The man just has a bizarre lack of curiosity sometimes.
Yeah just dont put a timestamp great job!

2:18:25 vin's unhinged laughter at smashing God's skull in with a rock is definitely Something
not really God, but homing rocks ARE insane
This is definitely one of those games where you can tell a lot of people will be telling you all kinds of information, just out of sheer passion and excitement to watch someone play.
Anyway unrelated to spell casting here's 10 documents each over 10 pages long about the work done trying to solve just one cryptic puzzle in the game the community's been stuck on for 3 some years now. (The 400 page NSA document is required reading.)
It is hard to watch others play Noita because I desperately want others to see the genius of this game the exact same way I do, but you just gotta let them experience it. It's such a good game.
@@entryplugged2068 I can definitely say the experience of having someone explain how an advanced wand building mechanic works and then getting it to work live on stream is an exciting moment.
Definitely makes you want to then see someone else experience the same "Aha!" moment.
hope this becomes a series. Vinny introduced me to noita 3 years ago and ive been playing it since, got up to 400 hours in it now lol
On the down side to a revisit, usually new stuff tends to be later into runs.
On the plus side to a revisit, the game has so much content already that you could easily believe something is new content anyway.
My heart fills with pride when a person I like plays a Finnish game
how ironic

2:07:39 wow I have a colleague that does exactly that for 80% of his speech. Like our company's name ends with ".com", and every single time he can't help but say ".coms". It's actually kinda funny to hear.
_Finished playing Noita a minute ago after dying to a f*king bee._
_Time to watch Vinny suffer._
Why the italics
I remember watching the original streams, so when my friends recommended it I got it. Been playing it recently and it’s as fun as it looks. Glad to see Vinny revisiting it!
It's back, after Vinny took a break from it for 3 years.
yo, dawg, we finna noit.
Not killed by the run ender 5000 but for the 2000 one
He returns to the game.
Does he, though?
Thanks for the truncated play-by-play.
From an experienced eye, the first holy mountain, in theory, made for a very easy run. An incredible first wand with many slots, lum drill, chainsaw, return (for putting on the trigger for easy holy mountain escape), chain bolt (for easy coal pits), and much more!
And Vinny didn’t even edit his wands. It's equally hilarious and infuriating watching someone inexperienced at the game miss what is obvious with experience. It's charming.
This was a lot of fun to watch, especially the homing rocks
Chat i’m gonna NOIT
Do not noit. Do not.
Good to see vinny coming back to Noita. I have nearly thousand hours in the game and I have to say that just about every death you experienced happens to us all. Also that there is always something to do, even after all my hours
Oh yeah there's TONS in this game and it's all weird and interesting, but you need crazy builds to do them. You need to either get a ton of mods or break the rerolls to get even close to being able to perform them.
Like making a sun does like a billion damage, you need massive damage reduction and hp just to survive it.
played it recently before the patch
the sound effects are really impressive
Vinny and chat were talking about 3D Noita and all I can think about is the tedious process of trying to dig a hole in the ground with a laser in that version of the game.
That lightsaber sounds like a twin peaks electricity effect
*You have entered the piss zone*
*You feel scrungly*
I hope he plays more of this. I'd like to see him win a run.
The game you play when you feel like not winning a run.
1:49:11 Seinfeld bleeds out while thinking about sandwiches
Even if it was brief, nothing brings joy quite like seeing a single rock launch itself into the unknown killing everything in its path. One of the most powerful wands is a two spell wand lmao
1:59:48 What about this idea: Noita in the Teardown engine
Never thought I'd see Vinny play this gem of a game again, but it is May the 4th, so the Force is with us.
This looks awesome! So trippy! 🤯
This game is always a kick. Definitely play more.
2:18:30 - "Wow a great moment of triumph, surely Vin will play the shit out of the game and beat the le-"

"Oh he's gonna eat shit."
And sure enough, he did.
I just started playing Gungeon again. Good time to get back into classic rougelites
Fucking love this game. Thanks for returning back Vinny!
Noita is easily in my top 3 single-player games of all time for me.
Me too, along with FTL and maybe Oblivion (due to nostalgia). Oh wait, sorry Oblivion, you're a fun game but Rimworld is better.
NOITA GANG
Binyot please never stop playing this
Found this game thanks to Vinny and put close to 500h into it. It's a Masterpiece 🙏
Please do another 14 episodes on this.
You never really get "good" at this game. You just get lucky.
I used to feel this way. But thousands of hours later, and it’s actually possible to know what you're doing enough to not only win, but get streaks. Over my last 100 runs, I've lost maybe 10 of them. This isn’t bragging--it took a lot of learning to figure this out. But it's such a rush once you crack the code and can get win streaks of 40+.
As a beginner, I feel like I made progress if I learned about a new way you can die.
You get better at getting lucky.
@noob19087
You get better at rigging your own luck too--i.e. knowing where all the fixed 'chances' are for a good wand, spell, etc, and then checking those places every run when you can. You only need to get lucky once, and you have 5+ chances. More when you consider all the side areas with excellent item and wand spawning rates, such as the fungal biome to the left of coal pits. Usually lucrative to go there, if you can survive. Which I usually can as I know how to counter every enemy there. I will leave immediately if I see a flying *melee* robot with a shield, as should you, lol. Everyone else, though, is pretty easy once you know their quirks.
@@cortster12 Yep! When you get more experience you start connecting more dots and seeing chances where you didn't before. Therefore "being lucky" gets more and more common, as you're able to forge more and more paths.
when I saw vinny nearly ignore perk lottery I screamed so loud...
I would've killed entire galaxies with a magic wand to have had Noita on the N64.
welcome back to noita :)

I'll probably be back, though. ^^;
wish he learn about the advanced shit
Good ol' Noit. Just don't gamble, like, 500 million subs and you'll be fine :)
Finnish word Noita is gender neutral term, so saying wizard isn't that off.
I think noita has a strong female connotation. I'm a native speaker but that's just my opinion. I'd accept wizard as a translation though.
Now that I think about it, Velho would have been a good name for this game as well, and that's entirely gender neutral. But who cares, just because the game is called Noita doesn't mean boyz rn't allwd 😡
@@noob19087 Yes, but ancient Finns were known for their witchcraft. Väinämöinen, the famous rune singing noita is sometimes referred as a wizard in English.
@@RUclipsSucksMyCockI'm sure you know the etymology better than me. That's just the current day usage, and where I live.

@@octopustophat3397 this is a copied comment and yes i do like noita
The vast amount of comments from chat saying that the seed Vinny got was crazy are proof that the game organizes it's spell RNG very badly, generally leaving the average player and sometimes even the wizards without any tools to feasibly continue. Reeks of Genshin Impact's maximized uselessness rigged stat rolls. It's common gamer knowledge that unregulated RNG is a gaming sin, and giving it terrible chances is another gaming sin, and designing the game to require multiple unregulated RNG checks to function is another gaming sin, and designing the multiple checks to require specific combinations of RNG (low compatibility of RNG checks) is another gaming sin.
How does a game clearly very concerned with math make so many math mistakes that can ruin the experience regardless of player skill or even for multiple runs in a row or both? Let me guess let me guess, ableism. Second guess, social sadomasochism. Third guess, not enough budget.
I don't know about "ableism" but for me the unfairness is part of the fun. Fishing wouldn't be fun if you were pulling in huge catches every time you go. Getting frustrated as you lose is refreshing in its own way, so I guess it is like masochism. But then again, wouldn't that make enjoying spicy food also masochism?
Ah yes, the absolutely terrible game participating in the highest of sins in gaming with a 95% positive reviews out of 60k.
Truly a society moment.
Amazing seed just means an easy win, not the only way FOR a win. If the game was RNG based, skilled players couldn't get win streaks in the dozens. But we do. It's a brilliant game with a difficult cliff to climb, but you do eventually climb it, and the journey up was worth every stumble.
i beg you to confirm that this is a bait comment
you're completely wrong about this game having bad rng. a very skilled player can turn any run into a god run, vinny just happened upon a lot of stuff that makes the process easier (and thus more accessible to less experienced players). when you're still learning and exploring parts of the game for the first time, there will be luck involved as you can be thrown into many situations where you dont know what to do. it takes a lot of time to gain the experience and intuition for how to deal with these situatons, but once you do, then rng only slows down or speeds up the process a bit. i can certainly say i'm still very far from that point, but there are people who have gotten win streaks in the hundreds
