  • Hi guys!
Are you feeling demotivated or in a rut at work? Same… I have these phases too in my career/work but I realized that it is normal. To get out of a rut you need to challenge yourself at work or outside of work - find ways to upskill and learn something new. One way I have been doing that is venturing into the world of Data analytics.
For those who have been watching my channel for a while - I am a lifelong learner and whenever I feel bored I will try to learn or do something new. It doesn’t have to be a drastic change - it can be something you are interested in for a while but need to put some time into.
Let me know what you are interested in learning next x

Hey, im new to your channel and have subscribed! I’m currently in year 10, and I have recognised you were a OT. I literally was so dedicated to be a OT but after watching your channel it has sort of changed my mind. I don’t know what to do with my career, I’m so lost (yes I know I’m in year 10 and should not be thinking much of it now!). I wanted to do OT because I was very intrested in a job that offered a salary of 70-90k yearly but I don’t think that’s the case with OT? I have been considering speech therapy too! Can you please give me suggestions on what to do and what your recommendations for a career would be! I would love suggestions as it would help me for my subject selections so I know my prerequisites for uni!

Hi thank you for subscribing! It’s great that you are doing your research early! 😊 I would recommend to choose a degree not just based on the salary but looking at whether it can provide you with the skills and knowledge for a job you might be interested in. I initially chose OT because I am passionate about health and mental health but i realized that when it comes to my 9-5 job, i wanted a better work life balance and where i personally won’t feel so drained because it matches my personality and skills. I would suggest going to career fairs or
Expos if there are ones in your area. This allows you to talk to different working professionals and it can help you get an idea of whether OT is what you want to do. Wishing you the best of luck!
