People talking about skill issues are the same ones that were destroyed in storm 4 because of skill issue now that the game rewards you for playing like a dimbo they are the ones that consider themselves good in connections but still are destroyed in storm 4
I’m a connections advocate but storm 4 at launch was way better than connections launch no doubt and I like connections more than storm 4. Connections is a fun game when you go against friends or honorable players. It doesn’t deserve hate, it just deserves criticism/scrutiny because of the rushed launch Bandai greediness enforced.
I can respect that take, and I agree that the game IS FUN when you play with honorable players/friends (it's just that there's so little honorable players, and making lobbies is inconsistent if you have multiple people in the lobby so it makes trying to have fun online a nightmare). Most of my vids have been me relentlessly hating on this game, but next video I'll be moreso critiquing the game as a whole while also pointing out some good things about it. Thanks for commenting

That's definitely a valid concern, I do think though they should at least let me see how often a person is ragequitting so if I see a person who has quit over 100 matches then I know and can avoid them accordingly. Smurfing is a difficult issue that I don't think ANY game has actually been able to 100% counteract, but I don't think just allowing people to ragequit whenever they want is a better alternative. Even if it's as simple as demoting the person down a rank after a certain amount of ragequits or just deducting some ranked points, I think SOMETHING is better than nothing

the main reason i think isshaki is BUSTED, is because again. you can't frame one sub, making it so his GRAB unblockable/unsubable move not to mention the LAG as well. that means, you have to predict that grab 5 frames before PLUS, sub not working at frame 1 AS WELL. (Also, he has crazy recover !!! every move, he instantly just blocks in 1 SECOND making it IMPOSSIBLE TO PUNISH HIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM) tons of isshaki players would dash than do a grab and its IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OF IT unless you buffer your sub..... I just hate subbing, i hate his FIRE ball too with a mulit hit box, i hate his combos, everyone doing the easiet combos with him. GRAB, than grab, than grab than grab, its legit a touch to death COMBO. He legit makes you realized how SLUGGISH and slow the movement is in this game because you just can't get out of the way of supports, and his grab. if you ninja move, you'll STILL GET HIT, you can't jump block either, you an;t kunai ninja move like in s4, like what is this game??????????????????????????

All the scrub changes they made to the game makes him SO HARD to outplay unless you’re just playing an equally bullshit character. I don’t remember a SINGLE storm game with a FORWARD TRAVELING AND TRACKING GRAB. Closest thing you had was Minato throwing his Kunai FORWARD, but it was slower and you didn’t get combos off of throws in the other games like you do now. Not to mention just the grab ALONE does a lot of damage so it’s just a fucked up game no matter how you slice it.

For the mfs who think storm 4 was too hard to play I got the game in 2020 when I was 15 and I played it a little in 2015 when it came out but I didn’t watch naruto until I was 12 I got the game again in 2020 and got at least ok at it the same year the reason why I say this is because that is a reason why storm connections had to suffer the faults that it did if you knew about cc2 when it comes to adding new things they Always fck up. Honestly I went back to storm 4 after raging so much in this game if I am going to play connections again I think they should take out continuing the combo with just supports that would make the game more tolerable and fun because you can’t rely on your supports for a free combo

If they fixed this issue would you say the game is good or do you have other complaints? Me personally I’d like if they added more game modes and released a og/shippuden dlc characters. Storm 4 was a better game but I like connections gameplay more due to the fact it’s faster paced and players aren’t constantly running for the whole match.

I agree with you 100% as someone who was 2 ranks from hitting Max on Storm 4, People LOVED to run away the entire freaking match in that game and that was annoying as fuck. So W take from you. Also while I do agree new game modes would be GREAT for the game, CC2 has never been the type to do something THAT big unless they sell it to us in a Storm Connections Revamp or some huge DLC pack (kinda like how they released the Boruto DLC pack in Storm 4 which added the new Story Mode as well as the new characters). And to answer your first question, CC2 has fundamentally changed how Storm is played with a lot of the system changes they made to the game. CC2 mostly has just been nerfing characters without actually making fundamental changes like how quickly your guard breaks, or how much damage everything does, and how you can combo off of EVERYTHING, including most supports (which you could not do in ANY Storm prior to this one and for good reason). I WILL give them credit for removing the Invincibility from the Jutsus though since that was the ONE fundamental change that they made. However, even if they nerfed Isshiki and Hagoromo, people will just move on to the next broken ass character since there’s too many and it’s because the game is fundamentally different, even though the gameplay is technically still the same. So, I don’t think I’d be truly satisfied with the game unless they addressed THOSE issues, but I don’t think they will because they actually wanted an easier combat system, and those changes did accomplish that, it just ruins the competitive aspect of the game for me personally. I played the old naruto games on PS2 and then I got Storm 3 when it came out and I loved it. Then I got revolution and..... So anyways storm 4 came out and I wasn't really happy, still being a fanboy of 3 and just kind of drop the series instantly. looking at steam charts, storm 4 still has way more players than connections. Do you think it's worth getting connections or just going to play 4 now?

@@clutchchozen_yt1942 Fair point, but the reason I single this game out is because while most of, if not all of the issues existed in the other games, they are WORSE in Storm Connections due to the various things that they changed. With most Storm Games, they didn’t make huge changes to things like combos, Jutsu, grabs, guarding, and items. But because they decided to change a lot of those things in THIS game specifically, I’m singling this game out since NOW, counter playing a lot of these things is HARDER than it used to be. There were fundamental things that you needed to know in order to win against people who were decent at the game. I didn’t complain about the shit I’m complaining about now in the other Storm Games because everything wasn’t so overtuned in those games. Everything is overtuned in Connections though, which is why I’m specifically dunking on Connections.

Combos are much cleaner and yes again it’s easier with new system(which I don’t use) but you still gotta outplay and outmaneuver your opponents. The combos combined with graphics and damage output there’s no comparison. I’m not mad at you just think you and others help kill the game instead of improving it. I make videos on the game and I will admit there’s a bunch of b.s. but it’s also fun to play and is the up to date option. I have to write bad things to people in direct messages on PSN, but at the same time I myself receive a ton of such messages from similar players who cry and cannot accept their crooked hands. I hope Sony won't ban me on PSN couse hoddamn this dialogues....
lol for the first time EVER, I changed my PSN settings so people can’t message me and it’s all because of Storm Connections. Oh MY GOD MAN idk what it is with Storm Players but they just are crazy man, I’ve never had so many people send me hate mail in my messages on ANY OTHER Storm game except this one. I think they should have done the rank system how Jump Force did it, no win % no win streak no little number that goes up, you win you get some points you lose you lose some points. Dont get me wrong either Jump Force was a terrible spam fest of a game but it did PVP right, hey CC2 copy how Jump Force did their battle system. suck a fat one with win % in player matches WTF

I don’t understand what you’re talking about. Comments like this are super annoying because you’re sitting here claiming I’m trash when you probably don’t even play the game and if you do, you play it casually. When I’m full screen or far away from somebody and they’re trying to charge chakra, then YES I’m going to jump and throw kunai to stop them from doing that while I’m approaching them at the same time. I play aggressively, so idk what the hell you’re talking about saying I’m barely fighting. Either way though, the only thing you said in this comment that actually made sense was you saying that you feel like it’s better than Storm 4 NOW as opposed to the launch, which is understandable. I disagree with that as I think there’s some downgrades in some places, but that’ll be next video. Till then, thanks for commenting even if I disagree with your opinion

There has been a lot of cheesy stuff that takes place in Storm series but singling this game out is hilarious to me especially with the points you made
@@clutchchozen_yt1942 Fair point, but the reason I single this game out is because while most of, if not all of the issues existed in the other games, they are WORSE in Storm Connections due to the various things that they changed. With most Storm Games, they didn’t make huge changes to things like combos, Jutsu, grabs, guarding, and items. But because they decided to change a lot of those things in THIS game specifically, I’m singling this game out since NOW, counter playing a lot of these things is HARDER than it used to be. There were fundamental things that you needed to know in order to win against people who were decent at the game. I didn’t complain about the shit I’m complaining about now in the other Storm Games because everything wasn’t so overtuned in those games. Everything is overtuned in Connections though, which is why I’m specifically dunking on Connections.
@@KillaBoy_88 they definitely made it easier but that’s a lot of games now true combos are mostly dead. I think they made it harder for you to camp out and run as much as you could with the storm 4. Combos are much cleaner and yes again it’s easier with new system(which I don’t use) but you still gotta outplay and outmaneuver your opponents. The combos combined with graphics and damage output there’s no comparison. I’m not mad at you just think you and others help kill the game instead of improving it. I make videos on the game and I will admit there’s a bunch of b.s. but it’s also fun to play and is the up to date option. Saying it’s the worse I feel is an emotional take and mostly surrounding launch and all that armor b.s. It’s not bad lately in my opinion but I don’t play it 24/7
@@clutchchozen_yt1942 Fair take again, and you’re definitely right about people camping and running away the whole match in Storm 4, it is harder to do that in Connections which is a good thing. I also agree I should offer some more constructive feedback rather than just complaining and yelling like I’ve been doing since that doesn’t really help the game.
