This was the first time I saw or heard of Beetle Bailey. Shocked learning he and the others could actually talk. Just like discovering Spider Man could talk, after watching "The Electric Company".
I'm trying to think of all the "real" cartoon characters that have been on this show. Help me out here--- Beetle Bailey, Pink Panther, Superman, Batman, Jughead (from Archie), The Simpsons, Bugs Bunny. Anyone think of any others?
I was looking for this video. Until now, I didn't understand how the chow cart moves and the line gets reversed. I didn't catch that Beetle bumped the cart and got aced out of getting in front of the chow line.
Marbles471, I don't remember the last two you mentioned, but the others I do remember (Pink Panther karate, Jughead 'J,' three Batman clips, Superman 'S,' and, of course, this one).
Yeah---I forget what it was meant to teach or who the rapper was, but there was a music video around 1994 or so that featured a rapper telling kids the importance of--I could be wrong--brushing your teeth. Bugs pops up a few times and dances with the rapper. He doesn't say anything, though.
Probably because The Simpsons and Bugs Bunny appearances were in the 90s. You've got 12 years on me, so you probably wouldn't have been aware of them as much as the other characters' appearances, which are all from the 70s. The Simpsons are among the gaggle of celebrities that pop up accompanying Grover in the "Monster in the Mirror" music video. I think it can still be found on RUclips. The Bugs appearance is more obscure and was shown less often, but maybe it'll show up here eventually.
I love the narrator. He's sure pulling for Beetle.
Ironic that this is more work then Beetles EVER done in the actual comics. LOL
Oh my gosh, you actually see his eyes in it!
Wow! That's the hardest I've seen Beetle Bailey ever worked!

Yes, this particular comic routine was made for "Sesame Street". I remember it from a long time ago.

Batman and Robin also appeared on Sesame Street.
And Krazy Kat
First Star Wars then Lamb chop then Superman Batman and now this
Honestly, that seems like something Sarge would do
How Come the Peanuts gang were never on Sesame Street?

Marbles471,

I still wish the narrator was Swedish so he'd say "Yow" instead of "chow" lol.

THERE'S ONLY FOUR GODDAMN PEOPLE IN LINE DO THEY ONLY MAKE CHOW FOR FOUR PEOPLE??
Ya know how Cookie operates! LOL!
Beetle can't get a break
I wonder if the narrator is Daws Butler?
I think it's Lionel Wilson.
Wasn't that the voice of the post man in alpha-bits commercials!
I thought he sounded like the guy who narrated Safari Solitare on Braingames on HBO in the 80s
@@Sabrina79 Probably was if it was Lionel Wilson.
Never knew Bugs Bunny was on Sesame Street.
LittleJerryFan92, woody woodpecker refence in sesame
Or he could just walk around
I know he doesn't---it was done here to save money---but wouldn't it be so like him if he did? XD
Actually, he doesn't in the comic strip. And actually, this cartoon was pretty thin and mediocre in a way...
Anyone notice the bomb in the tunnel he dug?
