Good points, and thank you for the content. As a cinematographer and teacher, I have a slightly different approach. Every year, I upgrade to the latest iPhone Pro Max, regardless of the changes, because I have a network of trusted buyers who are willing to pay a premium for my used gear. This includes camera-specific accessories, making it feel like I’m essentially leasing the newest equipment. Nice to see honesty and integrity in a RUclips review rather than non-stop Apple fanboy commentary (as I type this on an Apple Mac Pro surrounded by iPhones and other Apple products). It's incredible to actually pay attention to the quantum amount of work and care in your videos @mrpaulxavier. The overlays, transitions, jump cuts, compare and contrast, motion graphics, VFX, etc., are mind boggling for an individual. These are broadcast quality and in fact, better than most broadcast quality productions. Your pacing is tight and keeps things moving. Truly well done.
I have a Canon R5, and I still took my iPhone 14 ProMax out for travelling. I love my big-boy camera, but it's just not fun to travel with. It's really heavy, and there's all that extra worry about theft. I'm just trying to collect memories. I'm not filming a movie, lol. I do keep my R5 at home for product photography and I think it's a great studio camera or filming things around my city. But if I have to get on an airplane, I'm taking a cellphone.
Bigger Sensors, YES! I was so excited to hear the ultra wide got 48 mp, but the sensor that helps that lens/camera is not improved, thus giving very little enhancements in video. My channel is focused on national parks, hiking and camping. It’s my main lens. This does not give that added bit I was really hoping for, that the main lens with it’s sensor does, to shoot better wide angle, cinematic videos. 😢
Another thing to consider when debating between a phone and a dedicated camera is that if you upgrade your phone often enough, you can simply choose not to trade in your old phone and use it as a dedicated camera too. I've seen a few RUclipsrs who film with 1-3 iPhones, and they just keep their old ones and integrate them into their own set-up. As for using a phone as a teleprompter or keeping notes. A laptop or iPad helps for that too. --- I personally think a big-boy camera is only worth getting if you're already a big fan of photography and you're looking to upgrade something you're already doing. Like you need the upgrade to bring your current work to the next level. Othewise I would never recommend someone just buy a big-boy camera as part of a start-up kit. -- Another random advantage for an iPhone if you don't trade in the old one. If you take two phones travelling. Your daily driver and a back-up camera phone. If your daily driver gets lost, stolen, or broken and you're in a foreign country, you can use your hotel wifi to upload your backup to your older phone and that way you'll still have access to your Apple wallet and anything else you needed digitally. But if you're rich, you can just buy a new phone at your travel destination too. But Apple phones tend to be much overpriced outside of America.
I’m a bit fed up of a lot reviewers talking about iPhone, Pixel or Galaxy phones being incremental upgrades and not worth upgrading when data shows the global average of having Phone is 3.5-4 years. Pretty much every major flagship phone this year is worth upgrading if you have a 3/4 year old phone. I’m upgrading to a iPhone 16 Pro from an iPhone 12 and my wife from her iPhone 11. Like you said this is not worth upgrading if you have an iPhone 15 and even an iPhone 14 for me unless you a part of the less than 3% of people that upgrade every year.
Excellent fluent to the point review. Doesn’t hold anything back. Sharp. Thanks for this video and thanks to RUclips for recommending such 💎 of a video on my TL.
Well, your analysis may be applicable for professional photographers or people upgrading from a 15 ProMax. But as you pointed out, coming from a 13 Mini, my new 16 Pro is awesome (well except for the camera button). So, I’m very satisfied. Thanks, though, for your review.
Never had a pro model before and then I got a 16 pro max and I’m the guy coming from an iPhone 12 and bro what an upgrade. I’m very pleased with the 16 pro max!
This is the first year in a long time I didn’t upgrade. I got the Sony zve1 this year and personally I don’t see the need to upgrade from a 15 pro max I might not upgrade for a while since I now have a real camera.
I’m not sure whether I’ll buy the iPhone 16 Pro Max or go for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, which is coming out soon with a global version. Not only is the system more pleasant to use, but the sensors are also much larger, so in theory, the photos and videos should be better.
So I just upgraded from the 14 pro to 16 pro and now I’m debating if I made a mistake 😢 now I’m debating just getting the iPhone 15 pro max (only bc of camera/video) but the size is big….what should I do?
About the camera control, we need to wait for the future software updates to enable the half press to hold focus and it all makes sense. I use it mostly to quickly adjust the exposure. Before that, I have to tap the screen and swipe up and down to adjust the exposure. Now I can do it quickly using the camera control.
I’ve tested both 48mp ultra wide and the telephoto lens against the 13PM and see no difference. Maybe it’ll make a difference editing it with raw in photoshop 🤔
Instead of IMX 803 they should use IMX 903 and add adaptive aperture for main camera. For other two they should use bigger sensors 1/1.3 and update glass. I have iPhone 14 Pro,and usually I use phone for at least 5 years.
Hi, I am an 85 year old male resident in the UK. I was just about to buy the 16 Pro Max, but your video stopped me in my tracks. I have a 12 Pro Max. In view of your comments, should I buy the16 Pro or Pro Max, with my time on this earth running out. Really enjoyed your video. Many thanks
I have a question for you please . So let’s say you have a 13 pro and then get 16 pro would that mean the pictures on instagram come out better with the 16 pro? Or would the differences be negligible?( I don’t use zoom & don’t mind post processing in lightroom) I’ve checked the iPhone 15 pro vs 13 pro and theirs no noticeable difference in the main sensor ; although 15 pro is 48 megapixel the 13 pro has f1.5 apeture which is better than 15 pro’s f1.8 . I only use the main sensor so pls share your thoughts I don’t want to waste money
Great vid! I agree with everything. The only reason I stick with iPhone is because of the video quality but I think they’re all about increasing their profit margins by giving us minimal improvements.
I'm not a photographer, but I think that the difference between using any smartphone vs any mirrorless or DSLR is not just image (or video) quality, I think that the gap in any scenario might shorten over time, but in the flexibility each system offers. I don't know why (unless for economic reasons) you must choose only one. The smartphone will be available on the go, and you could probably take your phone from the pocket and capture something within 15 seconds, while it would take longer if you need to remove your mirrorless from the backpack. However, having different lenses, flashes and other equipment will have other benefits, I think. Price wise, I think that any smartphone will be cheaper than going to a profesional camera if you consider lenses and other stuff. However, it's good to know where each system is better, and not looking at choosins as a versus, but as to when one is better suited than the other.
19:42 What's that square thing on the back of phone there brother? I tried a reverse image search, but didn't have any luck. Just very curious. Thanks for what you do and keep up the amazing work brotherman! Edit to add time stamp so you can more easily see what I'm referring to.
I was pretty naïve and believed my phone would come with all the goodies they advertised with and trick me into buying! I’ll be sending it back and wait till next year
Great review from a really pro I still using iPhone 7Plus still ok for general use but I still looking for pre own 13 Pro or Pro Max I think is great enough for create content Thank you
Re digital cameras: Don't forget that older models of both cameras and lenses are mostly still awesome performers. And the market for pre-owned older cameras and lenses is well worth looking into. Digital camera updates don't follow the hectic schedule of smartphones, lenses even less so. Learn photography, don't let programmers decide for you how actual reality should look like. Even iPhone's ProRAW is computationally manipulated.
Many great points but disagree with the audio upgrade. The 16 is infinitely better with the audio mix features if you just want to shoot and upload without using CapCut or other software. Actually game changing for shooting for social without a wireless mic in crowded places
Do you have to use the camera button on the side for the settings or can you continue to operate the camera as you always have and just ignore the button?
The camera control button would be nice on the volume control side , it just feels better on the bottom so your thumb is using it instead of your index finger
I’m getting my 16pm soon and I was really hoping the microphones were gonna be that Killer Upgrade. :( And my thinking about the camera control button is that Apple was looking at that eco system of Bluetooth photo grips from anyone from Ulanzi to Freewell to Shiftcam etc and decided “How do we own that?” and then half implemented it.
Great video as always. I'm really curious about your opinion of the Xiaomi 14 ultra. The camera seems awesome. IMO better in some ways than the Samsung or Apple flagships. It also has Log but I haven't explored it much.
I have an IPhone 12 Pro and have been trying to hold out for a worthwhile upgrade. The battery is getting is to the point of unusable. I won’t be able to use the camera button< because of disability but use a high end Nikon DSLR easily. I kind of like to have the latest gear but is this worth the extra $ over the 15 Pro.
@@jaymills1720no, get the A6700 because you’ll have many lens options and also have a blurry background to make it cinematic. The other person who said the 16 must not know what they’re talking about, iPhones are good, but they just don’t quite have the flexibility and professionalism of a dedicated camera
Something worth mentioning is, the new button on the iphone was made for intended (horizontal shooting) , just by placement it should be understood. Idk why people are trying to use it in a way its not intended lol. But from watching alot of reviews I now think I understand why Apple is kinda afraid to innovate and try new or weird things whether on how the phone is shaped, how things are placed etc, because everytime they do they get backlash for it. Also something to note, nobody doing "pro-like" work with the iphone to shoot videos is ever using the camera app, they use other apps from the appstore and apple stated that developers would be able to use the button. So lets see how it goes. Btw , not saying people should complain eh, thats how things improve. I just said what I said as somethings to keep in mind.
The camera button is intended for both horizontal and vertical use, hence Apple’s own marketing showcasing both orientations utilizing the button. The camera button just isn’t in the most optimal nor comfortable place for a lot of people, it is what it is with this current model year. I also don’t see a trillion dollar company being, “afraid” to innovate and try new things, because they could possibly receive backlash. Such has never stopped them before. Apple are simply slow to implement certain ideas into their own products, waiting to see how well those features will be accepted, or waiting until something is mature enough to spring on it. Has nothing to do with the fear of innovation.
amazing video. The problem with lenses is the physical limit of a phone, I think they can be enlarged but only a little compared to now, they have almost reached the maximum with that available space.
In other words- if you have a 13 series, get the 15P on sale at Walmart on Black Friday, cuz it’s the same phone as the 16P, except you’ll save that much more money. Then sell the 13P and break even. Do this every 2 years, or even every year and you’ll make profit selling your 2yr old phone. You’re welcome.
I can’t believe they took away the iconic silent switch. The newer action button is lame. They could have just allowed you to map the switch. I’m hoping it comes back in the next gen. I’m holding off on the upgrade with high hopes. I don’t know anyone irl that prefers the action button over the switch.
Why not just make 24 MP sensors to begin with? Same quality for good light, big enough pixels for low light and also native 24 MP photos, no binning necessary

I love the camera button it sits on the right place and is great to use with one hand if you use like me the Torras case. so great for shooting with only one hand free. It’s a pro phone it’s not for everyone and if you go with the 1TB you have enough space todo a 90 min ProRes shot. Or you should get the Smalrig mobile filmmaker kit and use the build in nano ssd with it. Kameras are nearly the same as my 15pro but they were already good I don’t complain, for me the 4K/120 made me buy this beast.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. So informative, down to every detail. It's time for an iPhone upgrade and it looks like the 16Pro is the way we are going. We would buy SONY bodies but we need 3 and ouch 💰Hard to beat the iPhone value for performance.
6:48 why do RUclipsrs like to complain about the size of ProRes Log on the iPhone, and often forget to mentioned (which is misleading) they are talking about the native app only? You want to shoot Apple Log in h.265? No problem use the right app for that and stop complaining about the file size! Have you ever seen Red user complain about the file size or the cost of the camera? Often only those who don’t need it complain about it! Those who need it will not complain or will find an alternative.
I wasn’t complaining about the file size. Just making sure people realize how big it is. I use it non stop and have said over and over again it’s my favorite feature on the phone. Just doing my part making sure people are aware
@@MrPaulXavier this is nothing new and same for more or less all smartphone’s except a few with 1 inch sensors. But computational photo and videos have shown giving better result as in Google Pixel Phones, Samsung or Apple which even using smaller sensor with very small pixel are still proving better performance. Adding bigger sensors again brings other challenges. And I’ll suppose this is one of the reason Apple is bringing this fusion sensor technology as one way to provide good video quality only in 4k which require only 12 mega pixel, than giving us 6K or 8k. And I’ll believe Apple had tried to do 4k oversampled from 6K or 8k and find out grouping pixel was providing better quality/performance/battery life/… ratio. My point is you guys should stop sticking to those standard talking point and try to consider what could led to such decisions instead of all time assuming Google, Samsung, Apple or other are just trying to full consumer with marketing jargon. Don’t get me wrong, I agree those marketing messaging are often misleading on purpose.
10:41 those are tools, and your phones aren’t aimed to replace your phone any time soon. Any good videographers or filmmakers know those are tools and don’t fall in that cliche trap. They will use each tools or cameras at their best abilities. If you really want low light camera then go with a Sony FX3 and don’t complain about your phone sensor size! This is not educational if you think it was it’s just complaining comparing Apple to Oranges and get mad at both, in an attempt to sound impartial and knowledgeable!
They’ve increased sensor sizes in the past multiple times. How is it nonsensical to be upset when they do a megapixel marketing gimmick instead of focus on what truly helps?
thanks for showing the microphone difference as I have not found a video to show the difference, I dont care about the built-in processing since I can use auphonic, so it seems that the microphone quality is just the same but apple just added some audio enhancement from the software side to make it better right? Besides, one reason possible for the 16 is the better battery life I guess? but now that the iphone 15 pro is much cheaper, I am not sure. since if I am gonna record a whole video podcast I will bring my powerbank anyway.
I was let down that the iPhone come with Manuel mode. ISO shutter aperture. Android has had that few years. Sad the brand like apples are raising so heavy on their camera. Features can’t create a full manual mode in their phone camera setting.
As always, Mr. Gallo, the editing is top-notch as well as the integrity and the content. For now, being a retired school teacher, I'm going to stick with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. :)
I only upgraded for a bigger screen cause I have bat vision practically 😅 lol but apple definitely hyped up features that sounded like it would already be on the new phones. I ain’t mad, but I’m sure others who wanted these features aren’t happy about not having them just yet.
I wasn’t going to buy the 16 Pro as there was little in improvements over my 15 Pro Max but on reflection, I decided it was worth going for, for one reason only (well, two if you count I have holiday money I didn’t spend on holiday) and that is… size. Size, I hear you say? Yes, size. I can now get an iPhone with the 120mm equivalent lens in the smaller iPhone 16 Pro and sell my iPhone 15 Pro Max as this iPhone is just too large. I only went for the Max to get the 120mm o to be able to downsize is worth it for me but another reason to change is down to this iPhone itself. I have never been happy with this iPhone as the signal reception is the worst I’ve even had on an iPhone and, there’s other issues that has left me total disappointed with it too. It’s been checked out by Apple, with diagnostics run which revealed no issues according to their tools… but I’m still not convinced. I can have two bars of 4G showing on the display but any call I get can be one sided where I can hear the caller, but they not. Overall, I have truly hated this iPhone (15 Pro Max) since almost day one so, in deciding to get the 16 Pro will give me a smaller iPhone (won’t jamb in my pockets and is easier to carry) without compromising on the cameras. PS I wasn’t impressed with the cameras especially the 120mm on the 15 Pro Max so any improvement no matter how minor will be welcomed. 🏴 Oh, and I won’t be using the camera control (button) as I see no point to it, I just hope it can be switched off.
5:07 Hobbyist knows the tools some time even better than the pro, so I’ll not bet on that, except if you’re the type of people to entertain the cliches! The camera control obviously has been made to be used in landscape mode not in portrait mode! It’s like complaining about you cannot use your fork to have your soup! Now is that button useful at all? Only time will tell as it will definitely take people to get used to it worst for those with hardcore muscle memory like you! If it’s still there on the iPhone 17 that would eventually mean more people than you’re thinking now are actually liking this button (which per Apple I shouldn’t be calling a button!)
It’s definitely landscape favorable but apples has featured it many times being used vertically. If it was purely landscape they would have moved it down more
@@MrPaulXavier moving it down more could have other impacts on the structural safety capabilities of the phone titanium frame. Adding this smart button (Apple don’t want it to be called a button) already adding a hole which reduces already the overall frame rigidity. Things are where they are for a reason you might not considered as you’re not one of such engineer.
Guys: for landscape format: Try using the new camera control with your thumb, so you need to turn your iPhone 16 about 180°. Using it with your thumb and not your index finger makes a big difference to many users.
Was really entertaining and informative to watch thank you. I’m trying to decide if I should upgrade from my iPhone SE second gen. I believe that’s a 2020 phone same cpu as the 11 😂

Thank you so much!
So someone liking Apple and praising makes them an Apple fanboy, but apparently it’s ok to praise fucking Samsung with questioning them.
Love it. I have a similar perspective on gear
I’ve upgraded from a XR to 16Pro and really pleased with the camera improvements.
---
I personally think a big-boy camera is only worth getting if you're already a big fan of photography and you're looking to upgrade something you're already doing. Like you need the upgrade to bring your current work to the next level. Othewise I would never recommend someone just buy a big-boy camera as part of a start-up kit.
--
Another random advantage for an iPhone if you don't trade in the old one.
Really good points all around
Or keep an iPhone and get the Samsung Ultra. They each excel in places the other doesn't.
I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max is it worth the upgrade?
Definitely
I always used the volume up button to take a picture. This new button works just fine for that.
Excellent fluent to the point review. Doesn’t hold anything back. Sharp. Thanks for this video and thanks to RUclips for recommending such 💎 of a video on my TL.
Thanks for watching!
Finally one real review for this Camera Control, please Apple take notes to improve it. Make some decisive software adjustment to it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Samsung does with the S25U
Same as s24 overheating brick
They will do nothing. They need to save. Maybe if they add them camera button and that's it.
They will just iterate and y’all will gloss over it and praise Samsung as the coming of Jesus. Samsung is overrated.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 The same as the iphone... If you really want IMPROVEMENTS in camera you have to go to the Chinese brands
Can’t wait 😊
I think it is worth if I would upgrade from 11 pro max ?
What would be a GOOD case for the Iphone16 ProMax as a Filmmaker?
Well, your analysis may be applicable for professional photographers or people upgrading from a 15 ProMax. But as you pointed out, coming from a 13 Mini, my new 16 Pro is awesome (well except for the camera button). So, I’m very satisfied. Thanks, though, for your review.
Never had a pro model before and then I got a 16 pro max and I’m the guy coming from an iPhone 12 and bro what an upgrade. I’m very pleased with the 16 pro max!
Nice! That’s a big upgrade from the 12
This is the first year in a long time I didn’t upgrade. I got the Sony zve1 this year and personally I don’t see the need to upgrade from a 15 pro max I might not upgrade for a while since I now have a real camera.
You’ll love the sony
I love the zve1
I’m not sure whether I’ll buy the iPhone 16 Pro Max or go for the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, which is coming out soon with a global version. Not only is the system more pleasant to use, but the sensors are also much larger, so in theory, the photos and videos should be better.
Not if the software is very poor. Updates on Oppo devices can ruin features on their camera systems. Please be warned.
I have the base iPhone 15. Is the 16 pro max camera a noticeable difference compared to the base 15? Also hdr on or off for video? Thanks!
HDR off and id say it’s definitely an upgrade although not massive if all you’re doing is casual photo and video
@@MrPaulXavier I only use the main camera lens with no edits and post it to instagram
This is the best video I've watched on iPhone 16 Pro Max. I've now made up my mind on what smart phone I'll buy, soon. Thank you very much!
I have an iPhone 7S. Will I notice a difference if I upgrade? Lol
Oh yes haha
Instead of IMX 803 they should use IMX 903 and add adaptive aperture for main camera. For other two they should use bigger sensors 1/1.3 and update glass. I have iPhone 14 Pro,and usually I use phone for at least 5 years.
Hi,
I am an 85 year old male resident in the UK. I was just about to buy the 16 Pro Max, but your video stopped me in my tracks. I have a 12 Pro Max. In view of your comments, should I buy the16 Pro or Pro Max, with my time on this earth running out. Really enjoyed your video. Many thanks
Ohhhh please
@@ALLUK633 My comment was designed to get a response, and hey ho😀
It’s hard to tell you which one. Are you planning on creating a lot of video content? Will you need 4K at 120fps
Thank you for your reply. I will be doing some video, but I like to feel that when I do, I am getting the best quality.
Subscribed since you explain info for different levels of interest. Thanks
Yeah you won’t notice much of a difference with regular photos. Low light would be slightly better though
Great vid! I agree with everything. The only reason I stick with iPhone is because of the video quality but I think they’re all about increasing their profit margins by giving us minimal improvements.
Which app do you use for iPhone in 2024? Filmix has moved to subscription model which I don’t like, what’s alternative?
Blackmagic camera 🔥
I’ll be sending it back and wait till next year
Great review from a really pro I still using iPhone 7Plus still ok for general use but I still looking for pre own 13 Pro or Pro Max I think is great enough for create content Thank you
Just say you’re broke without saying you’re broke.
Oh thanks so much for this: it was exactly what I needed! I decided to upgrade from 13. 👍
Many great points but disagree with the audio upgrade. The 16 is infinitely better with the audio mix features if you just want to shoot and upload without using CapCut or other software. Actually game changing for shooting for social without a wireless mic in crowded places
If you definitely won’t use the other tools than yeah the audio features are helpful
on iPhone 14 Pro, and film projects, only thing missing/worth upgrade is log‼️‼️
And USB-C
Very nice review with enough details to give a very good idea what you will be getting. You did a great job.
Do you have to use the camera button on the side for the settings or can you continue to operate the camera as you always have and just ignore the button?
You can ignore it completely
Coming from XR & got 16Pro. Use screen button since used to it. Most of my photos are spur of the moment, no time to play with control, lol
Thank you for an honest review. It makes a refreshing change from listening to BS in so many other videos. 👍
The camera control button would be nice on the volume control side , it just feels better on the bottom so your thumb is using it instead of your index finger
Ohh interesting, hard to tell how I’d feel about that without testing it
I’m getting my 16pm soon and I was really hoping the microphones were gonna be that Killer Upgrade. :(
And my thinking about the camera control button is that Apple was looking at that eco system of Bluetooth photo grips from anyone from Ulanzi to Freewell to Shiftcam etc and decided “How do we own that?” and then half implemented it.
Switch out the battery. Best Buy does a great job at a good price.
Unless you want the slow motion go with the 15
Sony a6700 or 16pro max. Buying it for promoting my products on insta and youtube. Ur suggestions are much appreciated

@@jaymills1720no, get the A6700 because you’ll have many lens options and also have a blurry background to make it cinematic. The other person who said the 16 must not know what they’re talking about, iPhones are good, but they just don’t quite have the flexibility and professionalism of a dedicated camera
Phones are not computers and definitely not cameras. They’re got but ..

I don't understand people crying over the lens flare. I love it. It adds some artistic part to the photos or videos. It adds character.
I’m not sure if you’ve realized how bad the lens reflections are with the smaller flares. Some can be tasteful but the reflections are terrible
Your alias is fooling nobody Tim Cook.. You are a bad man..😂😂
I was super let down to find the sensor sizes are exactly the same. They really made a big deal about pixel size, for whatever reason.
An excellent overview and very sound recommendations - highly professional presentation too - New Sub :- )
Thanks and welcome!
I will say as far as the mics are concerned the difference is more noticeable on 18.1 using Audio Mix after the video is recorded.
4K 120: others have seen to NOT use the SLO-mo option, but shift/switch to 4K 120 in the upper right (portrait) otherwise data is different.
My question is, should I go for 16 pro or 15 pro?
As I can get 15 pro for much less price.
If it were my money, that's really easy - the 15.
If you’re not a heavy user, go with with the 15 pro. The only issue I have with my 15p is its batt life.
You’re welcome.
hey which camera did you used to shot this video???
A7siii
I can’t believe they took away the iconic silent switch. The newer action button is lame. They could have just allowed you to map the switch. I’m hoping it comes back in the next gen. I’m holding off on the upgrade with high hopes. I don’t know anyone irl that prefers the action button over the switch.
I'll buy an iphone when they put a huge sensor in the middle of the back of the phone like the old samsung galaxy from 2012
That would be awesome.
You can edit the pressure it takes to press the camera control button .
It’s already on the lowest setting on my phone
The 16 Pro Max is worth it coming from a 14 Pro Max for me.
Samsung has the best sale worthy photography that can pick up subtle nuances like mist even in low light.
Yeah I think the 15 is the better choice for people who don’t care about 120fps
Audio is actually bad on the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro . I’m not keen on how the sound is processed
Why do they upgrade every year? Why not in about 2 years.
I was let down that the iPhone come with Manuel mode. ISO shutter aperture. Android has had that few years. Sad the brand like apples are raising so heavy on their camera. Features can’t create a full manual mode in their phone camera setting.
16 Promax camera button very down not good because the camera button may be middle side is best 😢
As always, Mr. Gallo, the editing is top-notch as well as the integrity and the content.
For now, being a retired school teacher, I'm going to stick with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. :)
Thank you! I agree with your decision as well :)
I only upgraded for a bigger screen cause I have bat vision practically 😅 lol but apple definitely hyped up features that sounded like it would already be on the new phones. I ain’t mad, but I’m sure others who wanted these features aren’t happy about not having them just yet.
Upgrading from an 11 is a big deal for me. I’ll take it 😅
That’s huge!
Oh, and I won’t be using the camera control (button) as I see no point to it, I just hope it can be switched off.
I preferred the non enhanced version tbh it's not implemented very well still
This button should much longer for greater controls.
Well done video. A minimal and incomplete update for the iPhone 16 Pro series this year. Apple should be embarrassed for this mediocre launch.
Thank you :)
Using it with your thumb and not your index finger makes a big difference to many users.
just saw your 48$ ad in your video 😅
Was really entertaining and informative to watch thank you. I’m trying to decide if I should upgrade from my iPhone SE second gen. I believe that’s a 2020 phone same cpu as the 11 😂

Great content and very interesting and captivating to watch. You got a new subscriber 😁. I got a 13 pro with a dji gimbal and use it mainly to shoot 4K family vacation videos post edited with iMovie + family events photos of course. 6 minutes in and I still haven't seen anything Apple lied about.
Just change the sensitivity of the camera control in accessibility.
Apple always like... today's money over decays tech 😂
About the first item: Why in would you fiddle around with holding the phone in 1 hand and try to press buttons. You can't hold the phone in 1 hand and press the screen either.
I take photos with one hand all the time. I can hit the buttons as well
