If the military stops intervening , there is nothing wrong with this country.. as long as there is something going on , they print money and then when they retire they go abroad and live their lives.
More than 48 high ranked civilian posts are occupied by military, takes huge bribes on chaman and torkham border, they are involved in smuggling drugs, creating and protecting militants.. FATF is on our tail, we are on the verge of going bankruptcy, IMF is sitting on our throats , about to go from brown list to black list..
and yet they are playing the same games.. for instance tahreek labeek.. 80% is what they take.. 7.8 billion dollars.. last year they increased their budget with another 1400 billion rupees..
if they stoped today.. everything will be okay tomorrow..

@@Dr_Ryan-uu4rk In the past the military had to intervene because the former politicians before Imran Khan, were all looting the nation and doing money laundering to Swiss bank accounts. Would you let your country collapse by mafia's? Would the Pentagon sit idly by if the US president was going to collapse the US economy? Would the Indian army just sit on their hands if Modi was doing it? (oops, Modi and Ambany are looting India!)

I don’t make sense right? Here is something watch it on RUclips , “ Ashir Azeem” is a former Pakistani bureaucrat Who also worked with the PTV , one of his Drama is “Dhuwan”, now he is settled in Canada and is a Truck driver.. watch his Vlogs if you want to know more in detail. He is actually merging 2 iconic tunes belonging to the tradition of Qawwali music for this performance. Even these songs are not sung like the originals and are modified with changed tempos and introduction of instruments. He has also added new bits where he is vocalizing rhythms.
    Btw love from pakistan 🥰❤️
You help us appreciate things that have gone unnoticed otherwise and also educate us on western tradition of music.

Thank you John, once again , for a great reaction. These are two great Qawwalis by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan who was the original innovator of fusing western instruments into a very traditional Qawwali style. He is responsible for reviving the love of classic in the new generation of Indian Pakistani music lovers. The scatting , borrowing your term is not random. Just as West has Do re mi fa sol le ti we have sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa. The raagas are based on the combos of these notes. Sometimes he says pa sa sa. sa ma ma sa. etc. The aaa sound in melody form is called alaap based on the raags. If you have the chance then do listen to Ustadh Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan also who was Rahat's uncle and Rahat is his musical inheritor. A smart performer Rahat has added many bits and pieces in this performance to engage the global audience as well. #PakistanstandswithIndiainCovid

No subtitles are needed for these words. He is basically playing with SA, RE, GA, MA, PA. These are keywords for Raagas which are specific to south asia i.e India and Pakistan mostly. Closer to mid he started with a romantic song which was originally sung by his legend uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali khan. Actually beloved is being told to be serious in love and leave superficial play of feelings. He again started with Raagas i.e sa, re, ga, ma. After mid he started off with a spiritual song referring to the great muslim Imam Ali (Peace be upon him). And yes Rahat is an icon in this part of world. His name is pronounced as ‘Ra’hæt’ with ‘t’ sound as it is pronounced by arabs.

about mala Yousaf Zai! there was a time when there was a terror on the roads of Pakistan about a decade ago!
because we are a neighbouring country with Afghanistan the war was going on there, the extremism was also spreading in Pakistan, but our armed forces fought very well for about a decade. We Pakistan got ourselves out of that dark period, and now we are shifting our country from a security state to an economic-based state!
with the grace of God our big main cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore Peshawar are very very very safe now in world crime index reports these main cities were safer than many developed cities of the world!
we are very proud of that!
we are very proud that we are back on track and showing the world about our true colours
thank you for your take on this masterpiece performance

tumhe dillagi bhool jaani paray gi can be interpreted as both majaazi and haqeeqi ishq. depends on your mindset .. that is the beauty of this track. To further elaborate on it, if you listen to the full 40 min long version you'll find that it swings between both types of ishq. It can be best described a song of heartbreak about a majaazi lover laced with longing for the one true Ishq of Our Maulah.

  • @fahadzaidi1068

There were no subtitles because this performance was not a single track.. it was a combination of a few things - It started off with 'Raag', a form of classical South Asian singing that is all about achieving various voice notes and variations, no lyrics involved in a Raag. Then he added some parts of two famous qawalis of his uncle, the late Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. They were 'Tumhe Dillagi Bhul Jani Paregi' and 'Dam Mast Qalandar'... Only a few verses were sung. So I guess that's why they didn't add subtitles for this performance which was a fusion of 3 things itself.. And yes, the crowd was on a different tempo than that of the drummer's because they were clapping to the qawali part for Dam Mast Qalandar before the drum solo kicked in (the original track is a traditional qawali, which means singing and tabla only). So yeah, crowd wasn't expecting the drum part I guess :D :O
This was a nice reaction, thank you... And my thoughts and prayers are with India. I hope it gets better over there, and the rest of the world :(

Real music have Raags. And everything that makes sound follows them in one form or the other.
Every ustad (master of music) follows them.
    But.
Some are masters of Raags. Raags follow these masters of Raags. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Bare Ghulam Ali Khan were the masters of Raags. Now Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has started to shine like them.
May Almighty Bless Every Loving Soul

And mainly how well can u manage to jump between the 7 notes (Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni) and still not loose focus in impressioning them...

Yes its famous song in Pakistan... no in the entire subcontinent... these are basically 2 songs he mixed together which were originally sung in 90s by Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan who is seen as the KING of subcontinent music especially Qawali version of music and he is still heard and enjoyed thoroughly by even the kids in 2021... Rahat Fateh Ali Khan used to be very young back then and he used to sing as a side/playback singer with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan since he was Rahat's uncle as well... When Nusrat die the legacy of his music was handed over to his nephew (Rahat) instead of his brothers.
