Ooops - I made a mistake! The singer who I thought was Abu Muhammed is in fact Fareed Ayaz. I just assumed the order of their names (left to right) matched their positions in the video. Even in photographs online they're always in the same position. So, it's Fareed Ayaz's voice I like the most. Both are amazing talents
@@ahmedmian303 yes guess if any1 can do that!!!!! with some thing in their mouth and keeping to the notes ........... outstanding. its like writing while riding on the horseback :)
Dear @John Cameron Would like to be happy about making a song reaction video of "Nooran Sisters". Here is their one of the hit songs ruclips.net/video/gE00KMIJVlE/видео.html
This is probably one of the best Kangna reactions I have seen. Your interest in the technicality of this makes me think that you will also enjoy the Behind The Scenes video of this song. Just look up Kangna BTS (Fun fact, almost all Coke Studio songs have an accompanying BTS video). The BTS is mostly in Urdu but I'm sure you'll pick up on a lot of what's being discussed and talked about between the artists as the house band tries to wrap their head around this composition (I HIGHLY recommend the BTS.) Also, I saw someone recommended Kahbram Raseeda; I agree, that one's a gem as well. Pretty much anything by these brothers is a joy to watch.
My favorite, nay my ONLY favorite reaction video. I respect your appreciation of jhap taal and its ability to knock even the most talented and experienced musicians off their game. Love your work on this!
From the very first Moment I loved Kangna when I first listened to it in the movie "The Reluctant Fundamentalist". It's really a mind-blowing masterpiece. I m from Germany and totally in love with Qawwalis, sufi- music and old traditional songs. Plzz keep on going to check them out. It's a neverending treasure ❤
This is the one of the most 'sumptuous' piece of music coke studio have ever produced. I am native of the land and listening this masterpiece for last many years and it never gets old. And, yes thats our map behind on your wall. You can orientate better to us. Great reax. Go !!!!
Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was as phenomenal a human being as he was a vocalist and a composer. He toured all around the globe and he's definitely one of the very few to have sung devotional religious songs for Muslims dominantly, but also for Hindus, Sikhs and Christians. He was a true messenger of peace.
Ahh. Finally you did check out this masterpiece from the present day Qawali Legends. It's pitiful that i found out about the duo and their group just about last year but since I've been hooked on to their performances. Rang, Bajuband Khul Khul Jaaye, Zehaal-e- Miskeen, Khabaram Raseeda, Mareez-e-Muhabbat and the list goes on. ❤️❤️
Kangana and the likes of it performances are meditative and trance inducing. I just enter another realm and am transformed into nothing but sound bytes myself where every atom in me is in sync with these notes. This music was developed around devotional singing and poetry which is why it hits us so deep physically and spiritually. This reaction was very timely as an Eid gift as this is the very end of Ramadan, the month of fasting and Eid being the celebration of completing the month long fasting. Thank you
The producer of early seasons and this masterpiece, Mr. Rohail Hyatt has knowledge of music frequencies and he loves to play with them. You will always find a rhythm in the songs produced by him. Check out other performance of these brothers in Coke Studio Especially "Rung" from Season 5. Also react to "Manzil-e-Sufi | Sanam Marvi | Season 3 |Coke Studio Pakistan
I remember listening to Jeff Buckley's performance maybe 15 years ago and I was 10 back then. I remember having tears in my eyes but not knowing why. This was a lost memory that you brought back to me and when I teared up again, it was like deja vu except this time I knew why. When emotions don't require a language and can travel through your soul, you become Jeff Buckley.
So Glad you Checked out this masterpiece. Plus that Jeff Buckley recommedation was awesome. I would like you to check out Khabaram Raseeda Coke Studio Abu Mohammed Fareed Ayaz
This ten best cycle is called Jhaptaal. It's not just the count of beats but how it's divided, that gives it it's character; 2+3+2+3. The claps fall on beats 1,3, and 8 and beat 6 is denoted by a wave of the hand
John, you're quickly becoming my favourite RUclipsr. The way your face lights up to the music being performed is priceless. I often tell people about Coke Studios PK because I truly believe this is a national treasure that can transcend borders. If you enjoyed this performance you'll appreciate Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performance in Coke Studios 2020 a song called "Dil Tarpe" another mesmerising piece from Coke Studios. There's a wait for it moment in that which totally gets me every time.
Man.. Your appreciation and knowledge of music is commendable. This was a pure qawali magic not easy to be understood and appreciated by westerns.. But it seems that you connected well with it..
good to see the Pakistan map back on the wall,,,, shows ur love for the ppl n their work living there n 4 sure u will see many more masterpieces like this one
I love Jeff Buckley and have been his fan for a long time his vocal range was absolutely amazing and this video I think I recommended you in past as well, good that you discovered it on your own. Nusrat is probably the greatest vocalist, song writer and composer of all time, definitely for the 2 Billion population of South Asia without a doubt whether its Pakistan, India, Afghanistan or Bangladesh etc, his songs are heard today and his covers made and still are on top of charts. Coming to this performance you can also watch Behind the scenes available for every Coke Studio performance. Please react more of earlies Coke Studio Songs like "Hor Vi Neevan Ho by Noori".
being a hardcore NFAK fan...ive always been amazed by the intellectual capacity of jeff buckley. how does this young man from completely different culture understand the greatness of NFAK? which brings me to this, plz dont just react only to NFAK's mainstream stuff...i could help you navigate this topic as NFAK is am ocean of music!!!
If u know that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the Nephew of Master Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan..... And i'll love to see u reacting on song ye jo halka halka suroor hy by Master Nusrat... Lots of love from Pakistan
Great reaction. If u look at the Behind the scene, the music team were discussing how to work the tempo. They referred to 'Money' by Pink Floyd to plan the count.
You should also react to Shikwa/Jawab-e-Shikwa by the same singers (Coke Studio) with the English subtitles. The important part about that "song" was that it was written by the Great Allama Iqbal. Allama Iqbal is among the founders of Pakistan (it was his vision to create Pakistan), and he is the most influential contemporary poet and philosopher in our history. That particular poem is about a Muslim guy complaining (doing Shikwa) to God. And then God responds back to his complaints (Jawab-e-Shikwa -- the answer to his complaints) with His own justifications. If you want to learn more about Pakistan, our culture, and our motivations and inspirations, it is very important to get familiar with that particular piece :)
Dear Hunbbel, I love that song (musically speaking), I have atmost respect for Fareed and party. I am in awe of their musical genius any time I hear a song. One grief I have with that song though is in the lyrics. When "God" says "who removed all the infidels from this place". Non Muslims or Atheists will find it offensive.
I WANT TO APPRECIATE YOUR DECISION TO BE THE VERY FIRST RUclipsR TO EXPLORE THESE LEGENDS ON REACTION CHANNELS SPECTRUM ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ HUGE RESPECT!!!!!!! We literally can listen to them for hours and hours nonstopn
It's also important in the eastern music to show the emotions in the music according to the lyrics so open the caption for the lyrics and their translation
I remember watching Juff buckley's performance on RUclips many years back, he sung Ye jo halka halka suroor hai by Ustaad Nusrat fateh because he was a huge NFAK fan.

There is another thought...you should also check out 'bts' (behind the scene) of each coke studio song. It will certainly add perspective to your comments and you'd be able to appreciate the song in a much better and informed manner...!!! There is another thing...you have come back to Rohail Hyatt...the "Master of Rhythm"...
You dared to react on this track, you are the man (y) . It's not everyone's cup of tea and yes you are right it was very difficult for musicians to follow these complex vocals, I recommend you to watch the BTS video of this song where you ll watch how Drummer was struggling to follow them. Keep exploring old Coke Studio (Rohail Hyatt's) session you will find a great difference bw Rohail and other musicians' approach.
Absolutely beautiful ❤️ thanks John. Love Pakistani coke studio for introducing such talanted singers and different types of Pakistani genres. They did beautiful fusions too. this is old classical Raag song... Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ne Sa are seven Sur. You can hear they are playimg with those Sa ga Ma..Dha Ne Dha.. its not easy ..
Please react to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab's " Dum Mast Qalandar". In that qawwali their is another legend with Khan Saab, he is Dildar Hussain Saab. You will get blown by his tabla strokes he's legend
If you like these singers, you should look at Aadam from coke studio and their many performances from the channel dream journey. It takes place in a small room usually and feels really organic
Hey john, its nice that you are exploring music and you have got this 10 count amazing track. You should check tracks on 6.5 count where 0.5 is silent and vocalist have to fill that 0.5th of the rhthym where as tabla or musicians are silent there.... let .me share a track on 6.5 beat you ll love it
Its a 10 beat cycle but due to variable accents this is not a straight 10, claps are at 1st, 3rd and 8th beat only. This 10 beat in Indian classical is called "Jhup Taal" which literally means "Deceiving beat". You can watch a special feature coke studio did on Kangana. This song is a 10/4 beat in which clapping is on 1,3 and 8 which is very hard to maintain throughout the track hats off to the talented artists. Excellent review. Listen to Mori Bangri by the same brothers from come studio. The background music is even better and will take you to some other world full of transcendental vibes.
I would like to request to watch "Tum ek ghorak dhanda ho"....from NFAK there r great versions....but also a nice version by Nescafe Basements. And from this song I advice to check the lyrics, cause they r so wonderful amazing!
@ JHON - If you see the BTS of this record the drummer he complain to keep the 10 level is hard because the brothers they always add up extra things and he can’t keep up with them and director of the song he tell the drummer - you don’t care what they sing you just maintain level 10 ...you mention In your video about this issue. I see the bTs of the video more then 12 years ago and I remember as now this words ...make me laugh at that time. And you mention on it also ! Well done !
That's how traditional music is played, spontaneity is used as a shock effect to keep their performance fresh, these guys perform day in day out, you can't do the same thing every night, the pieces they perform are from centuries old traditions as well.
I just watched the video that you've shared in the description. And from your other videos I git to know you love Raahat Fateh Ali Khan. Raahat Fateh Ali Khan used to simg with Nusrat saahab and if you see his old videos, you might be able to see Rahat Fateh Ali khan in moustaches 😊 No wonder he's such a great singer, since he has sung with The Nusrat saahab..
An other request if u accept sir, plzz do reaction on coke studio song Khabaram Raseeda by Ayaz fareed.... Plzzz its requested u'll love that I guarantee
Great reaction to one of the master piece from coke studio.. bro please react to sakal ban from coke studio season 8 you will love it the drummer is just kick ass in that song
