- Russian president Vladimir Putin welcomed his teacher Vera Dmitriyevna Gurevich to Kremlin and visuals of the meeting have gone viral. This after Putin met took oath as President for his six term on Monday. Gurevich was Putin's homeroom teacher from fifth to eighth grade and has close ties with the Russian President. Everyone here in St. Petersburg knows her well. The President sometimes visits her when he is in St. Petersburg - this is the city of his childhood.

I am not Russian, but one could not avoid admiring what kind of person Putin is. He is a man who knows what he wants, he does not follow the mob, he is a very intelligent, brave and a good person. His community is always behind him, as they also understand exactly what he is trying to do for them. I believe his motto is "Russia and all the Russian people first." He is a great leader.

If the veterans knew that they were expendable at the start of their services and knew what they were sent to do for other people greed I bet 90% would have never made the sacrifices they have done! Anyway that's today's rant...enought screen time for this guy!
