- A unique cultural exchange as the Rabbitohs team receive a heartfelt welcome from the traditional custodians, the Kumeyaay Nation, in San Diego. This special morning was filled with the connecting of cultures, sharing of gifts and an unforgettable traditional welcome ceremony that symbolises unity and respect between the Rabbitohs and the Kumeyaay people.

I’m a Warriors fan through and through - been following them since I was a young fella. I never liked SS because I always thought they had this cocky attitude about them. Man, after seeing this and hearing Latrell speak about how important it was for them to seek the approval/welcoming of the indigenous peoples, from an organisation down to the players - just speaks volumes of the character and respect of this club. What a beautiful exchange of two cultures that share similar history and in a lot of ways still striving to keep their respective cultures alive. SS are my new “second” team haha Go well this season brothers 🙏

@yker5217 What are you talking about. There was an indigenous Aboriginal team v Maori game a few weeks ago celebrating Maori culture. If this was in an Asian country I'm sure their culture would be celebrated too. As for Caucasian, what do you propose is their traditional culture. Viking, Germanic, Celt? What?
