Caveat: I love your channel and your approach to pregnancy and childbirth! Can we discuss the few instances when excessive hiccups coupled with reduced fetal movement might warrant a closer look? This isn’t meant to fear monger, I promise. I’m a high-risk OB nurse and have had two instances in the last 6 months of moms coming into triage with notable excessive hiccups over the last day and marked reduced fetal movement. In both cases it was seizure activity and resulted in poor outcomes. 99% of the time fetal hiccups are completely normal, I just personally caution people to play close attention if they are excessive and coupled with other signs of concern. I hope this is taken as I intend it to, we both work hard and are passionate about optimal physical and emotional experiences for our sweet mamas!❤️
I have completed 37 weeks…. And I am enjoying hiccups of mine and babies 😂… baby get hiccups 3-4 times a day followed by morning noon evening and mid night 😅 … I am feeling hiccups of baby while commenting on this 😂… it is very beautiful feeling ❤
I've had several people ask me hiccups! I had never heard of it "being wrapped in the cord" until I became a doula. Luckily, I found reliable info to assure them it was fine :)
@@Publicchannel5 yes you’ll feel little like pulses in your tummy. She was born Nov 14th, at home unmedicated! I highly suggest it! Way faster recovery and so much more intimate and not stressful. But anyways, usually for me I would feel her hiccup almost daily, like little kicks but very steady and normally in the same spot!

I’ve had a strong feeling that baby is oblique, based on where I’m finding baby’s back and what feels like a head. Now I’m feeling hiccups right where I feel “the head” in my left hip. Hiccups really don’t translate to baby’s position?? 🙏

What can you do to stop them? Or you should just leave them? Sometimes it gets uncomfortable and worrying
Nothing to worry about and no way to control them even if it were. Just enjoy the cuteness :)
