I took this same journey yesterday for the first time in maybe 25 years and it was sincerely my favorite part of the day. I remember every step of the line like it's a recurring dream. So many distinctive sights. In my memory there actually was a wait that started outside the entrance, so you got to know the queue very well. Such a nostalgia trip to remember who I was and what I was thinking those other times I passed through.
It's like a journey to get to the eagle. You need to climb the great mountains, travel through the tunnels, cross the stream (on raining days) and then you march up the stairs to victory!!!! Then you do the same thing again 5 minutes later to ride it again.
Lol long ahh line boa, went there almost a month ago (first time riding eagle) and that mug took years to get to the end 🤣🤣🤣 that was my workout for the day 😂😂
I feel like back in the 80's there was like a huge pavilion that had tons of switch backs. Like 10-15 rows worth of walking back and forth! I also notice that whenever I go to any 6 flags park the que lines are usually like 20% of the capacity they're built for. I never understand why they build them so big when they're almost always roped off and not used. Maybe its because I always try to go on weekdays!
Made this walk plenty of times. That queue when full caused absolute dread for first time riders. Such a great coaster and the anticipation leading up to it with such a long walk/wait is brilliant.

Zumanjaro is really fun because it is the only drop tower I have been on with lap bars. The fact that Zumanjaro is the tallest drop tower wasen't enough, so SF made a really good choice to add to the ride by using lapbars.

Always fun when you make it to the station grounds and then you see it zig zag completely under the station filled 🙃
