Thanks so much, Andy! Phew! (Actually, the two other songs that I've got ear-marked for this week are more on point, but they're both new to me, so this was an easier one to start off with.) Happy New Year!
Oh I do like this song. I mangled it a couple times on a peena ackordeen...tricky things to play and singalong to. Nice bring Val, I think it fits the theme ...and as you say , you can always invoke the Thornton Rule !! Have a Happy New Year.
@@limousinlil Tres tricky. I prefer my keyboard a droit a gauche, ne pas nez a pied !! Te new ones are hideously pricey , you are correct . I have a multiply owned Weltmeister 60 , a Scandalli 80 and a Roland V 70 (the number being the chord buttons)....I seldom play them anymore....an itch that I scratched....
Thanks so much, Jim! (That's my Pono "Big Bari" ... the same one that Dave has just bought himself. I've had it for ages but there was about a two-year gap in playing it because I had to change one of the strings ... hmmm!)
Thanks so much for the listen, Kev! (That's my Pono Big Bari ... had it for ages, but didn't play it for a couple of years because I needed to change a string?!?) Happy New Year to you, too!
Otra fantástica interpretación, enhorabuena y gracias , ¡ Feliz 2025 !, like 1
Muchas gracias, José! Feliz 2025!
My wife's favourite song! And so much French content for you. Really nicely done Val!
I think it's one of my favourite songs, too, Steve ... I was quite surprised to read that John Peel positively loathed it! Many thanks for the listen!
This was wonderful Val. I’ll allow it 😊

I always liked this song. Some people don’t. Well done! He did have another hit “ Frozen Orange Juice” which I liked too.
Thanks so much for the listen, John! I have looked at "Frozen Orange Juice" and thought about doing it ... never quite got round to it yet!
Great version!
Thanks so much for the listen, Ylle!

Happy New Year to you, too, CeeJay! Thanks for the listen! (There's an accordion factory near here .. they're a bit pricey as well as tricky to play.)

You've been playing the big ukes a lot lately Val! Man I really dig the tone of this uke, sounding great! Happy New Year Val ~

I know some take against this song for some reason, but I’ve always been fond of it.
Sorry, Paul ... I somehow missed your comment! A belated thank you for having a listen!
@@limousinlil Ha - absolutely no issue. I can't say I haven't missed comments before!
