nice vid! another type of build that works really well in my opinion is 4 piece fatalis and 1 piece velk with a safi bow. The bow needs to have the velk augment (to complete the criitcal element set bonus) with the rest being elemental boost. It has slightly less damage than your all purpose sets but allows for extra flexibility since you get a 4 slot gem.
Using safi bows with velk divinity and velk helmet with lv3 coalescence and rest fatalis actually out damages your comfort sets with the Kjarr weapons except ice and maybe your fire bow sets. Could u fact check me on that.
I already showed an example of Safi bow + velk divinity + Coalescence in this video for Water. The point of the comfort set is in its name, "comfort", it has more flexibility so that you can land more shots. Also, it is more physical damage-focused for monsters whom take decreased elemental damage. The elemental burst version of each element requires a lot more accuracy because your Power coatings are limited. Trying to use Safi + velk divinity as an in-between is up to you. (It will not outdamage elemental burst builds on monsters whom take increased elemental damage, and it will not outdamage all-purpose builds for monsters whom take increased physical damage.)
Surprised that you use AT Velk legs instead of AT Nami head with you being a "bad" Bow main plus not having HP Regen aug. though you would lose Stun Res which is very useful if your not a speedrunner (which I am not) or use Yian Garuga legs for +2 Crit Eye a four slot and two lvl 2 slots, pretty solid if you ask me There is also the 5 piece Safi set which is beast on Elemental Bows
Safi 5 piece isn't viable, just in terms of utility and damage, compared to Fatalis. We wouldn't use Yian Garuga legs because we don't need anymore critical eye (when you already hit 50% affinity before WEX). Stamina Surge 3 is pretty overkill with that much stamina at your disposal. Like I said, if Peak isn't your thing, there is a better build in a previous build with Alatreon.
@@tinytenor5414 suppose your right about the other build being an option The Garuga legs are more for the slotage more so the Crit Eye besides given deco colletion i'd it's a pretty good option to consider but AT Nami head or AT Velk head pieces are useful too depending on decos and personal preference
Hi there. Thanks for asking. You might be looking at Taroth Thunder without Free Element/Ammo Up. Taroth Thunder has: 372 Raw 870 Element Safi Boltbow has: 376 Raw 810 Element You can argue that the difference is negligible, but since the the Taroth Thunder is in the "Elemental Burst" category, we want to maximize elemental damage.
I had the exact same problem. Try to lvl up and ask for help with MR Kulve. After beating it, youll get kjarr alchemy; it was kind of easy to get it there. c:
@@ulquiorracifer4714 I will do that as soon as safi is over right now I’m farming safi to get all my elemental bows and switch axes maxed then onto gun lances
I just love how you narrates the whole video.
Especially the "You do you, just for fun."
Thank you. I try to keep it not too serious. It’s just a game after all. 😊
Very nice vid man. I’ll be making those builds for sure. Cheers!

Absolutely, if the extra 4 slot helps you land more accurate shots, then it is better for that situation.
Making a Nami post-game build is such a challenge, but it's still worth it and still pretty fun, haha
Wish we had more than just AT Velk to use Fatalis armor on.

What is the bowgun build from the intro
Just the standard Fatalis sticky build with Safi Aquashot.
You can fit pretty much every skill you would need.
@@tinytenor5414 Sweet ! I'm still pre safi/fatalis as a returning player so I have something to look forward to. Thanks for the response !
I deleted my old account just to play bow lol XD this video helps a lot
Lol. You can change weapons at anytime! Glad you found this video helpful!

Why not use Safi Boltbow instead of the Taroth Thunder? It has a higher raw and element
Hi there. Thanks for asking. You might be looking at Taroth Thunder without Free Element/Ammo Up.
Taroth Thunder has:
372 Raw
870 Element

376 Raw
810 Element

@@tinytenor5414 oh ok. I didn't know free element/ammo up was used for bow....or do u mean the augment?
@@bigty81 I do mean Free Element/Ammo Up. Taroth Thunder has hidden element and requires Free Element/Ammo Up to unlock all of its Element power.
@@tinytenor5414 ok thanks for the info. Appreciate it.
I’ve been using the bow wrong , what is or are the best combos ?
Quick Ramp: B + R1 + R1 + R1 + B
Power Ramp: B + R1 + B + R1 + B
Then just dash dance from there.
@@tinytenor5414 thank you so much mate ! 🤝
Dude I’ve tried for so long to get a fire and ice kjarr bow I only get thunder 😭😭 safi bows are good too tho
It was even harder pre-Iceborne. These builds are about min-maxing. If you can't get it, you can't get it. Safi is good for specific builds/elements.

@@tinytenor5414 I think safi is good for all elements but it also depends on armor and weapon augments and awakening skills
@@rickybobby8408 Safi can be the catch-all if you want it to be. The Kjarr bow stats dictate that. It depends on the monster match-up/playstyle too.
