My suggestion would be to replace the sheet rail with some appropriately sized piano wire. Aside from the likelyhood of it breaking when being posed, even simple handling is equally possibly detrimental.
@@2DIttyBitty Thanks for watching! Vinnie's tender has been very useful for gauging clearance with the rails, platforms etc., being so big and wide. His main body is currently on my workbench for repairs after an unfortunate incident last year, but thankfully all he needs now is a repaint and then he should be good as new.
