Very happy owner of an arcade cabinet from The Arcade Guys. It took 13 days from ordering to delivery; the price point was very competitive with what I was seeing from competitors. Like the video says, very plug and play and upgrading was super simple. Very happy with the purchase and the company has always been very good at answering questions by email.
I got the retro 43 inch from ArcadeGuys a few years ago. This Arcade is still a 10/10. It came with thousands of games and I love the fact that it has built in roku tv so I can watch all my favorites apps and movies easily in 4k. Also like that I can control the Arcade with Roku remote.
I've had an Arcade Guys cabinet for a year and from all my research, it was the best bang for the buck. I have since enjoyed modifying my joysticks, buttons, added pixelcade's active marquee and put an Arcade One PC hyperspin system inside. TAG offers a great product and highly recommend FYI, My TAG cabinet had 2 back panels and I removed the bottom one when I built a base on it and put my PC on the bottom. I do wish I could get to the inside a little bit easier as right now you have to unclamp the control panel from the back to be able to open it from the front. At least on my version
I just purchased a cabinet from the arcade guys. Can't wait to get it. I do like the coin slots of the Game Room Solutions design. I never heard of them until I saw this video.
They use a Pi, which is slow. You'll be stuck playing old MAME roms and consoles until you upgrade to a PC. The cabinet will support the space but a big chunk of your purchase price will have gone out the window if you start upgrading components.
I appreciate both of these solutions, I have the Atgames Legend Ultimate and have been pretty happy with its size, screen, controls, support and ability to add games myself or purchase additional games from them. My next cab will prob be a kit build or Iircade.
For as expensive iiRcade is you'd think it would have a bigger screen. As it is it's probably better getting an Arcade1Up and modding it to play whatever game you want.
@@LohTec Or buy an Atgames Legend Ultimate that has better and bigger screen IPS, controls and more controls trackball, spinner, Coinopsx, 1sauce, OTG mode, Bitpixel LCD Marque, all the buy stuff upgrade options, ect. A1up compared to ALU, no comparison!
I don't think Prebuilt versus DIY is a fair comp. You will get much more mileage from a GRS Cab and fully custom buildout on the system (not from GRS) & Custom buildout on the Audio (not from GRS) than you will get from most prebuilts. The real comp to TAG would be GRS Pre-built...
Arcade Guys are aggravating to deal with. Asked the same question different ways with weird responses. The question? What games comes with it? Only company that will not answer.
I imagine they have to be very careful how they advertise what comes with the system. They're not paying licensing fees for ANYTHING that you're seeing. You know this is the case because Nintendo doesn't authorize any sort of replication for their IPs in any format. If you see MAME or SNES, it's safe to say you can google those for lists of games emulated on Raspberry Pi and have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
Honestly if you want to do a real comparison, you should do Retro Lizard’s Custom Arcades vs The Arcade Guys. My arcades are delivered plug n play for all customers.
😂😂😂 ..??.. Wait.. wait..?? Haha 😂 YoU can’t compare a RetroLizards Arcade with a TheArcadeguys Arcade cab!!! Haha 😂 There’s absolutely no comparison 😂 RetroLizards cabs - $3-4 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! Haha haha 😂 TheArcadeguys- $1,200 -$1,500 hundred! That would be like comparing A KIA to a Lamborghini….!! 😂😂❤❤👍👍
There isn't really a clear better one. Price, size, build, and what you want it to do all play a factor. That being said, yeah if you have the space for a bigger cabinet, can afford the additional expense, are comfortable building it yourself, and want to do more on your arcade than arcade games, GRS is a better option. Lot of caveats though.
Why don't you just buy 3000 real arcade machines? If you have room for two of these you can definitely fit two dozen real arcade cabinets in this space. Plus real arcades are 100% plug and play and infallible plus you can carry them up stairs all by yourself. At least that what Rexxer says.

Yeah, solid option if you are comfortable building.
Is it a way to add more games to the Game Room Solution system. I see some system now has over 30k games vs GRS has 6000+ games.
Yep, take a look at arcade punks for their prebuilt images. Better to use a raspberry pi
@@LohTec i will thanks.
What consoles does The Arcade Guy have? Does it go as recent as Dreamcast, MAME, Playstation? I hope to play Soul Calibur, Tekken 3 ,Power Stone
Yes, those work. Though on Arcade Guys I switched out the stock rom ruclips.net/video/dhABY3MCY20/видео.html

What about Quality Arcades? It’s been hard to find any RUclips reviews on them
I'll see if the wife is ok with ANOTHER arcade 🤣

One major dealbreaker: No trackball, or spinners. Do either of these companies offer models with them as an option? Thanks for sharing.
Yep, both do

When you do a vs video about cabinets you should be honest and say what the better one is, just saying

Game room solutions sucks
Your experience does not match my own
I agree. Game room solutions is a fraud . Nothing fits correctly and you build . Sides open . They cheap fraud company .
