I can only dream to one day have a room like this. Seriously, that's the coolest arcade iv'e ever scene, seriously.
Same.
Darth Poptart ikr
I dream is 2 have this as well and I know I can achieve it
you used the wrong seen
We have local arcade and this home arcade is far better.
Everybody’s thinking about their childhood dreams, I’m thinking about the electric bill
Bah, if you only do this rarely with all of them on at the same time it's fine. Just turn on the ones you're about to play. Now, if he has them on all day, every day, that electrical bill is gonna hurt.
@@angrytheclown801 They really don't take too much power. 5 machines only takes about 3-4 amps.
Some solar panels with Tesla Power Battery 🔋 packs can help save 💰!
I wonder how much everything in this arcade room came up to.🤔🤔🤔🤔
Arcades don't actually take that much of power. Besides Im sure this guy got a fuse box where he got switches for the ones he wants running.
Let me know when your neighbors house is up for sale.
Within a 20mile radius lol
My God, I'm 15 years old and I'm from Argentina, my dad showed me all his favorite childhood games and I loved them, since then I started playing many retro games. My dream is to have a room like this and to enjoy with my dad all his childhood games and more
Are there any arcades in Argentina? Or do you only get to play the retro games online?
Omg u have the same dream I do I’m 14 tho good luck
Best of luck. Having ambition in addition to your goals gets you that much closer.
Soon our games will become retro and oyu can do the same to your kids lol!
If I had a room like that to quarantine in I'd be praying for a pandemic.
Then lots of more people will die
@@retrogamerkid3792 I certainly don’t want that. It was merely a terrible joke.
There's another election next year.
@@retrogamerkid3792 God all the bullshit that we were sold during that time has come to light and you are still ignoring reality and sticking to your virtue signalling asinine narrative where you shame people to feel like you are a better person when you know what they meant. You are a BAD person.
I'm going to go drink a beer and watch this while i pretend it's mine
I have never seen a home arcade like this.I felt by watching a tour of your arcade that I was transported to the 80’s or early 90’s at best! You have got the absolute best arcade games! You must never get bored at your house! Your Family & Friends must have a field day at your home! It’s so amazing!
Mom: what do you want to do when you grow up?
Me: I want to *live* with this *guy*
This is beyond my wildest dreams, if this isn't motivation for me to get a good job nothing is
@RaineTCG well once u move up the ladder you'll have more control of handling things including time management
lol FOOD BE DAMNED!!!!
Employees are expendable. Building your own empire, far more difficult but far more rewarding.
I want to do something like this in my garage, but I'm starting off with arcade1ups lol.
I started off with just a couple in a garagecade. Nothing wrong with that, its your little slice of heaven.
@@thebasementarcade That is the most positive response I have ever seen from a RUclipsr with a home arcade like this (especially with you not bashing the arcade1ups). You just got an instant sub from me.
I'm also doing the same with arcade1ups (have 8 already). But as soon as I get a home (currently live in an apartment/townhouse) I'm going to get some full size machines (mostly shooters and driving games). Thanks for sharing your collection, I can definitely see your passion in your awesome game room.
I’m doing an arcade place like this I’m already starting
Arcade 1ups are trash they take away from the nostalgia of the original cabinets
@the_bearded_schlub Exactly when i see people doing games rooms with those trash I automatically skip the video
I'm usually not the type of person who gets jealous...but this is not one of those usual times.
Damn, now this is a great home arcade. I love how everything fits perfectly... all nice & snug!
I love that Commodore 64 shrine you built above the kitchen sink. Only thing missing is a light shining down on it :) Best overall arcade setup I've seen on the interweb. Hats off to you, sir.
I absolutely LOVE your arcade that you have. Have watched your 2017 video about a hundred times. Lol! Thank you for the new video! The "night" lighting scheme looks terrific.
This is amazing. Really reminds me of how the arcade rooms used to look like when I was kid.
Dude has a Dave n busters in his house, that’s f’n awesome!
I think his games are better actually lol.
@@lennybrewster4673 D&B's has nothing on his place. This is what a real arcade looks like.
This is better. These are all my favorite games.
Bruh this had to be so expensive😩but it’s absolutely awesome!!!!
Oh, I really this Arcade game Console: Fix-it Felix Jr. Because I really it from the Wreck-it Ralph Films and of course it's part of my Awesome-athon!
I've viewed several videos of private arcades and I have to say that your place is the best designed and organized of them all.
Just amazing that's man cave goals!
Hooooly shit! That's fuckin' awesome! It's like everybody's dream!
Amazing Room and Man -Cave (so many classics in there), and yes we have all become our parents, I too was thinking about the electric bill. LOL....nighttime brings you back to the days of the Arcade Rooms in the mall........Great display as well. (Looking for a full time bartender for that bar?? LOL
Love your set up! I just started collecting myself and hope to be where you are someday =)
I’ve had the idea of making an arcade in my basement for so long, I was looking at everyone else’s ideas for inspiration and this has got to be the coolest one YET. but expensive too!
its so cool but so expensive since each arcade cabinet can range from like 2k - 5k
@@stratsboneless6270 them ones with the motorcycle's can go up to 6k to 11k lol he def has a lot of money hell the basement in general is huge asf to be able to fit of them games and pool tables and air hockey tables has to be million plus house at least.
@@stratsboneless6270 Arcade cabs arent as expensive as you feel they are. A majority of them were probably bought for under a grand each and some of them would be 2 or 3 for a grand. Then some work has to be put into them but you are way over estimating arcade prices for all but the most popular arcade games... now pinball machines those usually start at 2k and go way up from there.
So much better originals then arcade 1ups our toys
0:58 Fix it Felix Jr/Wreck it Ralph 🤔
1:07 Taffer
Awesome space!!! With all the cool stuff in that entire space it is amazing to me how it was that vintage Pepsi machine in the doorway that really made the vintage statement lol. Great stuff my friend!
Love this. And zero Arcade 1Ups thank God lol. Arcade 1Ups are like watching a cover band... it can be fun but nowhere close the the real thing.
I've always wanted to collect coin operated machines but due to my budget I had to stick to 1up cabnets I WATCH YOU EVERY DAY at the point you're my daily schedule what I also like is the dedication from the shelves hiding stuff to the bar this place is so cool the first 5 seconds were cool to so sick seeing you're vids 😀 if this was a place people could come to I'd be on my way there no matter where it is good job! Someday do a 2022 or 2023 tour this place is awesome!
Thank you for the kind words. The place hasn’t changed too much in the last 2 years but I’ll do another walk through sometime in the future.
Моя мечта построить такую комнату. Возьму за рабочий проект. Чувак который построил такую комнату большой молодец . Уважаю ! Хорошей тебе игры . И денег на оплату счета за электричество .
Bro! Between crystal castle, the Pepsi machine, frogger, paperboy, add that baby Pac-Man/pac man jr pinball video game thing and I’d be spending 40$ a week there man!
This, is the single coolest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s like a dream
Oh that sucks RUclips told you to take out the song Blue Monday and told you to put in some on copyright music that sucks but the arcade looks cool
Yeah, they didn't like copyrighted music. Fired up the patent machines real quick :)
God...just to own a pinball machine would make my dream come true. This is INSANE!
That 3 player Revolution X is nice. I've only seen one at Galloping Ghost.
Absolutely insane! This is the best home arcade I've ever seen just amazing
I liked it! I Shared it too, which is something I Never do! Not because I'm a hater or whatever, but because I thought it wasn't worth sharing. This one, though, I though was worth Sharing.
That is just absolutely brilliant looks beyond amazing
That’s incredible 😮
Amazing and comprehensive collection you have there. And the Pièce de résistance, that oversized slot machine =). I can tell you spared no expense in all of the decorations that accompany a classic arcade.
What a nostalgia trip. Growing up as a kid in St. Paul, Minnesota my friends and i would spend countless hours playing Mario Bros. at the dry cleaning place near my house, Centipede at K-Mart, and all of the other games, Donkey Kong, Time Pilot, Ms. Pac-Man, etc. at Showbiz Pizza Place. Then when we moved to california it was all about Gauntlet, Ikari Warriors, 1942, and SuperSprint. Classic gaming always puts a smile on my face and takes me back in time.
Oh God, I want something like this!
But I don't even want to know what the power bill would be like...
Check out the Blog on the electric bill from 10/11/20 at www.thebasementarcade.com/
Huge collection of classics pool table get your mates in there and you won't get them out for days
I loved the video, but the Commodore64 on the shelf blew me away. I want to return the 80s now!
Wow! At night it looks amazing!
That is so amazing, what an investment in fun and nostalgic feelings. Very cool. I found ms Pac-Man at a bar for $50, was sitting in my mothers laundry room for 15 years when a repairmen was there and saw it and wanted to ask if it was for sale. My mom gave it to him! For now, I’ll stick to the 1/4th and 1/6 scale versions. They aren’t as loud but still makes me happy.
Vengo de Missa :3
Great video as always but the stressing music is killing it....80s Music would have been the correct thing for the mood.
While this assumption is correct, RUclips has flagged my previous video walkthrus for copyright claims on known 80's music. Blue Monday was my favorite choice, which I can't use anymore. Thus I chose 2 versions of copyright free music..
In my dreams. Love this room. Just awesome!!
Who would wish it was lockdown every single day if they had this room? Lolol
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THE 1980'S ROCKED...😊
My dream is to have 1 pac man machine a pool table and a air hockey table and pac man chairs pac man sheets okay cut the crap im obviously obsessed with pac man for some reason 🤦♂️
I love arcade donkey kong mario bros street fighter alpha 2 jr pac man bosconian and frogger al my favorite original games
Very cool. I would chill there every night and have a bourbon and just chill with other cool peeps who get it. Well done sir. Blacklights Forever!
Sinistar, Joust, Paperboy, Tapper, Frogger, High Speed pinball my favorite arcades. This beats these Sega, NES, SNES, PS? etc. game rooms all day!
Top Ten Ways To Put Your Electric Bill Through The Roof
That might be the coolest thing I've ever seen.
just walking down the stairs then seeing this, wow
Still one of the best arcades on youtube
Unbelievable! So many childhood flashbacks! When I was kid back then I was a little too young to play them so I pretended that I was playing them. The man who owned the arcade room would give me those pink bubble gums that were wrapped in the orange and blue wrappers. They were so hard when you first bit into them you thought you were going to break your teeth. The taste was kind of chalky and didn't last long at all. They did make great bubbles though. :)
If I ever get rich and wealthy when I grow up I’m doing this , but ima have vending machines i there
Absolutely incredible! So jealous you got a awesome set up my friend
Great, great taste in games. 👍👌🤙
Serious questions. Where did you get these machines at? When? How much? What’s your job? What’s a good price nowadays? Where can I learn to fix them when one breaks?
Contact me through the website at www.thebasementarcade.com/. You will also get the answers to a lot of these questions, especially the further you go back as it chronicles a lot of the games, collecting and road trips.
This is an EPIC home aracde setup!
This Arcade room is dope, I would love to have one done up just like this!
You : I need a house sitter while I am on vacation . I will pay ...
Me : DEAL . I will pay you 🐻
Also forget about laundry and yard work, I gotcha !
That bumper pool table is way too 😎 cool.
I like that it is real arcades and not arcade1up
Dang that's a nice arcade! where is taito or neogeo arcade machines? Lol if I were you, I would never tell my neighbors about this or they will want to be partying every night!
In those cables are game central stations.
This is absolutely ridiculous...just incredible and inspiring. Congrats!
it's not worn anymore, it's ridiculous, it's useless, it doesn't suit today's times
Man, this is awesome... but the electric Bill maybe be expensive, so expensive! D:
Dude has a premium Sega Rally machine...epic!
Kinda bummed that the Tempest cabinet is no longer there. Fun to play but hard to beat.
I would never leave a room like that.
You have a very nice arcade! I’m jealous! Lol!
This is BAD ARSE!!!! holy shit!
Ojala fueras mi vecino 🥺
Bro can my family move in omg
I have $20. Nice dream though.
Also, of everything here, I’m most jealous of PaperBoy. When I was a kid we had one at the Cub Scout building and when my dad became the leader of our local scouts, he said I could have the game if I cleaned my room over the summer... IM KICKING MYSELF BECAUSE 7 YEAR OLD ME WATCHED TV INSTEAD OF CLEANING AND THE MACHINE WAS TAKEN BY SOMEONE ELSE GOD DAMN IT. It’s a personal promise to myself that I will get one some day.
Goddamn I hate my life.
Amazing gaming room! I recently started looking into filling my basement with arcade machines. Would be awesome if you made a guide on how to get into collecting. I know that ultimately money is the most important factor, but I'm willing to bet you were able to get some cabinets for a way better price than buying them off Ebay.
Craigslist, local auctions, Facebook marketplace, word of mouth, join some Facebook collecting groups and KLOV forums and scan the for sale sections. When buying from non-collectors, never ask for more pictures, too many questions, etc. Just immediately leave to go pick it up. Someone else will be right behind you if its a deal so don't delay. In the end, you still have the right to refuse after you get there. I've walked away from a few. Unfortunately the internet, collectors and resellers have become very competitive in the last few years. Bargains still happen, but its becoming more rare.
Scared of that electric bill
Awesome room,. That's my dream room. So many classics in there and so many I remember playing myself in the arcade. I like the payphone touch.
Be my friend, plz
Wow! That is an amazing collection of arcade goodness! Thanks for sharing, and congrats on being able to procure all those cabinets!
This is awesome, I'd have to get the two player games out as I have no friends. Great tour
I want to know how you get all of those down in the basement... disassemble or two man haul. My stairs has tight corners, I'd have to disassemble them
When purchasing and planning my basement arcade, I bought a house with a walkout basement. The entry door is 36” wide, so most games roll right in. Only a handful of times I had to take the door off it’s hinge to get something in. With that easy entry, I pull my vehicle through the yard to the back of the house and unload right at the doorway.
@@thebasementarcade Ah that makes sense. Thats the benefit of a daylight basement. My basement was unfinished and I recently completed it. But Its sealed off. Its 8ft below ground level so I couldn't create a side-door access point. Thanks for the reply
Tell me that’s not real!!
Can I visit please?
So damn dope.. no kidding
In the 1960s I use to go to the arcade at Santa Cruz Boardwalk as a kid. No video games yet and the pinball machines were 5 and ten cents. Lots of mechanical arcade machines, some that looked 1000 years old. Many were fascinating. I can only assume these are all in collections now, as the arcade looked more conventional today. The first videogame that appeared there was COMPUTER SPACE in a red metalflake paint cabinet some time around 1970 or '71 I think. I was 11.
Sick I wish I had the space for that. I just bought an all in one cabinet which I'm psyched about but I wish I could have something like this. Love the retro soda machine too
Hi im Gabriel from Florida And I never saw any basement in house, which state have big basement lije yours. Im planing buy arcade.
Im ready got the 1rs one , Donkey Kong with online score board And DK Remix board too.
Enjoy you Arcade Zone.
You should open a business with this. I’m sure many would kill just to enter in and play. I doubt you’ll be able to indulge in this room for a long time lol. Chunky Cheese can’t compare to this
Your night music sounds awesome. Sounds very Metallica inspired. Can't put my finger on which song though. It's a nice original work though. Also I could probably die complete if I had an arcade like that and had got to enjoy it for many years.
This is the best arcade room ever. Nice job.....I would charge people 20 dollars just to play for 2 hours.
Quien vino por missa ?
This probably cost more then your intire house 🏡 INSANE that was amazing
When I move out to of my house this is what I’m going to do but I’m wondering how much do I have to pay the electric bill for this
