Thanks for the review. Its so obvious that Prism+ Marketing keep changing their spec overnight. The same model can change greatly in specs just on a whim. What is wrong with the regulator in Singapore? Sleep on their jobs? Considered being a independent reviewer like Gamer Nexus and Hardware Unbox?
Hey thanks for watching! I pretty much am independent now. Channel is too small to get much offers. Also Prism doesn't contact me anymore and the marketing guy I was talking with didn't like his job either and left haha.
Well, as a user of X340 Pro 165hz, Q65 Ultra TV.. what i can said are: 1. Prism Plus is just a sales company that sells white label monitors & TV products from various manufacturer that gives them advantages 2. There are too few honest + professional reviews to test their products. This only means they might be selling decent products but underpar compare to the top dogs that TOTALLY not afraid of honest reviews and open criticisms.
But. At the end of the day it is up to ppl to decide and their budget is always an important factor. What reviewers can do is give as much information as possible and then let them decide. At the end of the day like u mentioned. If ur monitor is working well and fine it's a win regardless of brand. But I worry most for those who don't have a working one. Cuz alrdy budget then still toh very heart pain hahaha
Haha .. unfortunately 99% of the reviews I saw were all "paid to said good things reviews". They are nothing but reapeating the brochures. Sad to know about your X340 .. I truly hope mine would last more than that. Mine almost 2 years still works perfectly.
Hardware unboxed can help on review and reveal the true identity of the monitor spec, if they willing to get one. Hopefully someday they will. Anyway thanks for being an honest reviewer for us.
The advertising on their bezel thickness seems to be off too. Just compare the review photos and their marketing pictures and you'll see the difference!
Even the Major Brands Gigabyte, MSI, Aoc, Acer Etc the MPRT are Way off after independent Testing. Take the Gigabyte 43" 4k Auros 144hz Monitor Gigabyte Claimed Response Time of 1ms and when tested it's closer to 7ms Response Time. All Manufacturers Do this.
yup, their website is misleading. their "zero bezel" claim is rubbish, there's at least a 5mm or more bezel and the pictures they show on their website show almost edge-to-edge displays that are photoshopped on. So there's definitely deception being used to falsely advertise their product.

I actually have a x340 pro as well. The display ports have died and the hdmi port disconnects if the wire moves. Also had an x240. It died within a year. Yes I agree that the price point is truly decent. However, the top people in the industry have also started selling products at a similar price point. Is this the same for the TV?
I haven't purchased one of their TVs so I cannot say. But I'm sure it's fine in the TV section. If I find anything I will update.
hi, really glad i came across this video. i'm currently looking to get a monitor and it just so happens that it's the 3.3 sale today & prism+ monitors are on sale lol have you used/done a review of the xiaomi mi display 1A/1C? would love to hear your review on that monitor :D
I have reviewed Xiaomi's 34-inch monitor and it is pretty good. Would definitely go for one of their monitors as it is well built. As long as there is the warranty.
what’s your opinion on the 315pro
Its a decent monitor. but it really depends on what you want to do with it and whether your gpu can handle.
Thank you for this video man! Looking for a monitor screen at the moment, this really help out alot for prism!
Great video man! I think you addressed a lot of concerns that many people have and I myself have been contemplating doing a similar video. I can't say I totally agree with everything you've mention but I definitely understand where you're coming from. Maybe we could even discuss this and do a video together :P
Hi Technobabble! Thank you for watching my video it's an honour really. Yes sure we can discuss a video. Just hit me up on my email when you are free. randomreviewsquad@gmail.com.

Sounds good man!
@@RandomReviewSquad dropped you an email :)
Sooooo much Thanks for this review!... i am currently finished my Casing Rig and i am about to buy my Monitor for my return to PC from Mac... i am considering to get Prism Plus for my monitor...
yikes, 15ms response time is shit.
not buying now.
Bro, I have a question...
Will the PRISM+ X340 PRO 144Hz be compatible to the PS4/PS5? Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your great works. Keep it up!
The PS4 does not support 2K resolution so no and for the PS5 does support 2K res so yes
@@RandomReviewSquad Thank you my friend
thanks for being an honest reviewer
interesting. I bought a prism+ monitor and love it. its waaay better than my msi monitor which was also more expensive. im no pro gamer so maybe i just dont notice. even knowing that the response times may be bogus, id still recommend it
Appreciate the non biased review bro
Dig further, u may wonder how deep the water run in display panel industry. I wish u could read Chinese, and Search for another china youtuber“先看评测”,they’d make phenomenal test on display panel. Mostly all display figures which shown to us are just “marketing language”. May be u knew it, but u just can’t reveal it. Keep it up bro. We’d get what u trying to express. Good job.
Thank you 😊
Hi! I found this honest review to be really useful. Could you please advise on a monitor for a starter about Rm400? Thank you!!
Hi thanks for watching. I'm sorry I'm based in Singapore so I'm unsure of any monitors for 400RM. But I would suggest if Malaysia has any local brands that sell cheap monitors do take a look at those. AOC or xiaomi would be a good choice
@@RandomReviewSquad Thank you anyways!! Keep it up!
you shuold make a script
Hi real cartoon girl. I do have scripts for my other videos. But this one was more of a quick top of the head video. 😊 I'll take into consideration and work on a script for such videos int he future as well.
prism fking shabby. no technical specs on their website. go safe. go samsung
The tech specs are all the way below on the website.
Agree. That prism site marketing is all bullshit. Even their review video can tell their panels are inferior!
But so far their products still work like magic. I have been using my X340 Pro for quite awhile, it is still performing like magic.
I hope my TV stays that way too. Perhaps for regular consumer their products are good deal because of the features + price point. But for the professionals, i dont think Prism+ products are good enough for them. This company needs to sell better products perhaps, and more honest reviews from testers from various levels.
I actually have a x340 pro as well. The display ports have died and the hdmi port disconnects if the wire moves. Also had an x240. It died within a year.
Yes I agree that the price point is truly decent. However, the top people in the industry have also started selling products at a similar price point. And really good ones as well not just OEMs being rebranded. PRISMs marketing works because it's mass and also because ppl have existing prejudices about companies like Dell selling more expensive products.
ty for this bro, v helpful
No probs
What you’d expect from a cheap monitor brand? You get what you pay for
Exactly!
Thank you for putting out such a video! Many people are definitely not super detailed and may just believe the specs stated!
Personally, I bought my PG240 before I saw this video and I guess I'm lucky to not have run into any of the issues stated. You also opened my eyes to another SG monitor brand: Supersolid which I have never heard of, which will give me more options to look out for when purchasing my next monitor and few years down the road and being more aware of such things!
Supersolid is just Dreamcore, just like Prism+ is just Aftershock. Just saying they're not a new brand.
Hi thiru, can u advise me? Im thinking of buying prism monitor c31max for my PS5 and i drop message to prism and they told me that it is compatible but still, after watching your video, im contemplating. So my question is, is it compatible? Please reply me before 12.12 sales. Thanks 🙏
Yes the C315 Max should be supported. 4K res shouldn't be an issue.
does it mean Samsung better than Prism ?
more often then not yes
my MPRT is 6.4...you are right
you should talk about its freesync and gsync feature, not sure if its trusted
Hmm so far i havent had much problems with it. Are u experiencing any issues?
@@RandomReviewSquad havent bought any monitor yet, trying to find a decent priced g sync monitor but everything is over my budget, and some of these "adaptive sync" cheap monitors that said can handle Nvidia g symc, so its kinda risky. i asked Prism+ about this and atleast they were honest to say that they dont support Gsync
@@Margulis1129 Actually if ure looking for G-SYNC specific monitors ure not gonna find any in a low budget. G-sync itself has 4 tiers. The last tier infact allows for the use of AMD freesync and other adaptive sync tech. You can check in the nvidia control panel as well. But if u talk about frame rate wise if u have a 60hz monitor and ure using a powerful gpu i dont think u would need freesync as often if u just cap your framerates at 60 even in game.
you can just turn on freesync via your monitor menu and check nvidia control panel

@@RandomReviewSquad its worth mention im ising an msi laptop, looking forward to get an LG monitor. cheapest i can get is RM 950
Nice review, dude!
Thanks for sharing your perspective! Cheers
oh wow i found this vid after getting the monitor lmao
same. but i'm quite happy with mine tho. probably will get a better one if mine breaks down.
Same
Well I don't care still went out and bought the 49 x490 so yeah good stuff 👍🏽 👌🏽
Its a decent price so no worries!
We want the truth
Guess i'll stick with my trusty AOC monitor
which model do u have anf how is it so far?
@@alexy33t46 Well currently on my old i2476vwm6. Been using it for 2 years and still works like a champ. One of the cheapest monitors back then. So far no issues
Lesson learn, cheap thing doesn't come good.
Thanks for info.. I get latest review from youtuber all said nice things only at 2021.
Thank u for the video man
No problem 👍 Thank you for watching!
good stuff and much respect! Let me buy you a coffee sometime!
Sure! Just hmu on my Instagram thiruuu_k
You might want to show evidence to back up your claims or it'll look and sound baseless
Yes of course. I am still in the midst of investigating and I will release any and all information I can. The video above was to give a heads up to ppl. Thank you for your feedback 😊
color of x300 sucks...
i got the monitor after this video oooooffff
Ooooh what monitor did u get!!
@@RandomReviewSquad the x240( my table doesn’t fit the x270)
@@el1jxhh what did you think about it in the end
@@Konguh well it’s a pretty good monitor the 6ms really didn’t affect me as i fps games at low fps so the fps for me would be around 140. if your really picky of the 6ms thing then if would affect u so overall in my opinion it is a really good monitor but knowing that prism lied about 1ms really shook me
made review without even the monitor, how chea... oh wait, I get it it is in the title to begin with. how did I missed it out. LOL
HAHAHAHA I've made some reviews of the monitors u can check em out on my in my prev vids.
👍
You made a review without getting the monitor itself? How cool is that? No budget izzit?? No credibility at all.
Hi Thank you for watching the video. I've made two videos on Prism+ monitors and have another coming up as well. You will see them if u go to my channel. Also behind me in this video both Prism+ monitors are there and the thumbnail had me holding up the box as well. Thank you for your time.
