Amazing and very useful review of how to thrive in NTU!! Wish I had seen this before joining NTU! :)
Thanks bro!
epic af bro🎉
Thank you bro!
great video
Thank you for watching!
Also how often can i apply for NTU/NUS?
hi, can I ask what is ur take on the rumors/ppl on reddit saying that ntu cs curriculum is outdated/profs can't teach? And what r ur thoughts on how some say that mdp/fyp r a waste of time
Well those who graduated in my time went thru an outdated course. Very theory reliant curriculum as well. But they've revamped their curric now so not too sure. Hmm I think these are opportunities that are difficult to come by. Especially during my curriculum. So when ure doing MDP or FYP choose something that would allow you to improve ur skills. Or something in the field ure entering (usually u are the one who chooses what you wanna do in both cases). It's immensely beneficial if u do.
Great video! Thought it was helpful. How did you get into NTU CS btw?
Thanks fro watching! A levels and pre CS boom :)
@@RandomReviewSquad what was your a levels results
@@bobert6644 not very good hahaha
Hey I am an international student that is looking to do an exchange at NTU, anywhere I can find the course pages for computer science?
U can search NTU CS curriculum
Hello Bhaiya
Since JEE Mains/Advanced/other national level engineering entrance exams results have not been out yet for the academic year 2024, so shall I apply for NTU now or should I apply when the results are out, but if i chose to apply after the results then application date would close, So i would be compelled to apply for the next academic year.
So basically I wish to ask whether NTU would accept if i apply next year with all engineering exams score and a year old class 12th result?
Moreover what would be your suggestion between both the ways i.e (1.apply now without any engineering exam results, with pre-existing achievements and academics
2. Apply next year with all the engineering exam results along with pre-existing achievements/academics)
Apply now. You will have an option to upload your JEE and Board results later when they come out (within 3 days of release).
Hey compared to India, and for a student who’s also a JEE aspirant
Is it really ALL THAT HARD?
Everyone has their abilities. I can't really compare it to Indian standards. Also as far as JEE goes for admission I only know JEE advanced is recognized
What do you think about CC module in NTU. I feel they just dragging my gpa down
CC module?
@@RandomReviewSquad yea, we have something like
"CC0005 - Healty Living and Well Being"
"CC0003 - Ethics & Civics in a Multicultural World"
Like need to memories theory and need to do presentation...
@@Leo-ig6yl it's part of a holistic education. LOL. You go anywhere also need to do
Would you recommend CS in uni to someone with little to no prior knowledge/experience in CS ?
What kind of preparations do I need to prepare for CS?
Yea sure why not. But prerequisites would be math and make sure to do some prior exploration on your own. I think knowing what youre getting into is important.
Hi Bro
I took a gap year after 12 th how can I justify the gap year? Please tell me those things need to included while justifying…Please bro…
Sorry bro I wouldn't know how to help on these. Maybe explain that you needed some time to find your purpose/calling or which field you wanted to enter.
Which is more good for cs nus or ntu
Depends on what you want. If you want to go into research I would say NTU. If workforce, NUS
Hi Bro
I got 98.6 percentage in my class 12 with Physics Maths and Chemistry. Can I get admission into NTU?
You can try!
@@RandomReviewSquad I passed with English medium should I take SAT or IELTS?
@@thirukarthik8455 Should I take IELTS bro?
check the website if you can to confirm. but as far as i know its IELTS@@NithishTrials
Are you NTU’23 or…?
Grad in 2022
what MPE did you choose and how was it?
I chose AI MPEs like nlp, nndl, computer vision, intelligent agents and VR/AR then some irrelevant ones like IOT, CPSS. i converted one of the AI mpe to UE due to some reasons. So i had to compensate the following sem and took some easier modules(IOT,CPSS) that come from diff specs. AI was hard af hahahaha i think its just below high performance computing in difficulty. but every specialisation has got it own difficult modules and its good to read thru and do research before choosing.
