We needed a good card to use as a legendary as a Set gift card. Look at ETC. He is used a lot, and everyone got him. Not a meme card like what we got this expansion.
It's really weird that they didn't give us Whizbang as the gift card. It seemed like an obvious pick. I'm guessing the greed won out and they didn't want to give too many people a card they can just use instead of buying packs.
If I'm not mistaken, there's still a free legendary that comes with expansion release and it's the same for everyone, like in Nathria it was Denathrius, I have no idea if this is actually a thing or it's some sort of placebo effect on my part
@@PGrimm-ib4xo I'm pretty sure Zilliax 3000 was designed to be the paytowin card instead of corridor creeper but someone anticipated the backlash in the marketing team. Pretty sure those type of design are meant to be behind paywalls for the next expensions
King Plush should at least be an A. Not only is it easy for Hunter to discount beasts and hand buff their minions, this card has charge as well. If you buff this and/or discount this, you are potentially shuffling a whole board of 6+ power minions in the opponents deck and then hitting face for however much damage
@@user-ff1bv1di4v you wouldn’t use it when they could get a good battle cry back again like ignis or something. But against dragon Druid for example, shuffling a board of useless taunt minions into their deck is super strong
@@uwunayeon9939 I'm assuming you're referring to dragon golem with the board full of taunts, which if so then no... absolutely no. It summons copies so each one still has the battle cry effect.
I think until Odyn rotates, gets nerfed, or they come up with an even better win con, warrior will never play anything else not involving armour gain play style.
@@cosmicdumpsauce9470 I really cant see Stich to bee that good to deserve A or S especially when there are Cards like Timewarden, Raza and Shudderblock that are absolutely broken. I feel like Stich is too slow and too vulnerable for Disruption (Silence, Transform, Steal, etc)
I exited for elemental mage. Skull of guldan is great and all but legendary minions are the cheese. Li'na shop manager, tar slime and kadgar. Also Jepetto works with those origami cards. The minion with Battlecry make big warrior and warlock cry. So it's great for board sentric decks. Like rainbow DK(it's less corpse spenders and more make the opponent concede)
You can still copy your opponents deck with Tony after playing wheel of death. Steamcleaner is rotating so it should be quite decent; i'd move wheel to at least a C tier
@@tarille1043 I don't think it's a good card, but in comparison to the other legenderies in C tier wheel is considerably better imo. still none of these cards will be playable until more cards arrive.
I really hope Pipsi ends up somehow being better than most people are rating her, I'd really enjoy Pally's best deck being something other than aggro for once in standard. Besides that, I'm just excited to see how the new set and rotation will spice things up.
I just think pipsi has the problem of it must be cheated out and it must run into something. No taunt and high cost potentially means you wasted a turn.
I’m calling it, there’s going to be a death rattle CNE deck poping up. Current rainbow decks are losing some corpse spenders, and with the new Dr we can utilize Festival of Legends death rattle package (specifically mosh pit and bone shredder) more effectively. On top on using Reska. Just imagine using mining casualties for bodies to stick long enough for a Dr and death growl combo. Then using bone shredder to spend corpses and extend the stickiness of Dr.Stichensew. Also they are getting a decent board clear in the form of a pseudo defile. This would make rainbow more of a midrange deck instead of agro. So the headless horseman is going to pair well in the deck too.
Zilliax opens the door for some serious creativeness. First of its kind in HS. This will really show the creativity of the players. As for Magtheridon, he’s a worse version of the previous Mag. They tried to build on the old one and I think they just dropped the ball on it.
I mean...what are priests going to do with an extra turn in standard though? I mean, you're playing dragons...there's a lot of board clears, so you probably won't have much of a board when you play that 5 mana legendary. And then priests have like no burn, particularly a good chunk of their shadow and undead priest cards are rotating standard. That new legendary in standard is going to be a complete brick.
Botface - the minis are often good its probably better than you think Ci ci gi - not sure about it but some of those cards youd be happy to get back with new cards. Colifero - you can build degenerate decks around this. It can be consistent but it needs to be built around. Dr stitchensew - good with deathrattle synergy. Some really great combos. Game master nemsy - its good im just not sure if the demon pool is good enough. Hagatha the fabled - its good. With shudderblock it allows you to triple cast a high level spell. Hemet foam marksman - i guess we need to see the beasts it pulls. In priest i love the past legendaries it can pull so who knows. Inventor boom - i think its good if mech warrior is good. Joymancer jepeto - pulls minis and can get back other stuff. I think this needs to be built around though. You use this with specific targets and minis in mind. King plush - maybe returning something to hand is worth it but that seems counter to the charge. Li na shop manager - its probably a good effect i think the issue is it costs too much and is too frail. Magtheredon the unreleased - i think the problem is the AOE isnt stong enough. Owlonius - the druid has a spellpower theme. This will probably be good. You can get 4 spellpower with this and 1 location. 2 locations will give you 6 spell power. Pipsi - i think its not good. I think it needs taunt so enemies have to hit it. As it is right now enemies can basically ignore it. Puzzle master khadgar - i think how the spells casts matters. If its smart its incredible. If its just random it may not be great. Raza the resealed - hero power priest is coming (zeddy please make this in theorycraft with sing along buddy) Shoplifter goldbeard - seems good im just not sure about pirates. Shudderblock - incredible even if it cant damage the enemy hero. Some of my most powerful moves dont damage heroes. Sky mother aviana - seems amazing but you might need draw for it. Sonya water dancer - making 0 cost copies already screams broken. Wizbang - we need to see how it works. I do think it got buffed because copy deck doesnt work. Galactic projection orb - its a high cost but im pretty sure this finishes the game. Headless horseman - great card its a little more costly asphyxiate but it gives an amazing hero power, doubly so if you find the head. Time winder zarimi - extra turn that isnt hard to activate, you can play this an potentially play another archetype. 1 extra turn is all you need. They had to limit this though because i would have taken like 5 extra turns if it didnt. I for example have had boards of 5 ma and pas. Toy captian tarim - its a good buff and debuff card. Wheel of death - this is possibly the worst card. Theres probably some strategy where this is insane. I thought about movements afterward youd be guaranteed to draw one and your fanottem can possibly be played which works well with the colifero. Zilliax 3000 - its customizable and well suited to a number of decks. You just need to build it to your style of deck.

What if you barrelbrim your own magtheridon as dh and deal 3 damage to all enemies for 11 turns in a row with only reno being able to clear it. Probably bad but could be a reno dh win con
If you have a handful of control cards, cards that add cards to your deck and/or the weapon that mitigates damage you take on your turn, Wheel of Death could be a real thing. That sounds like it is asking a lot lol. The biggest problem is actually that it is an 8 mana do nothing, on the turn it enters play.
Right, its cost makes it so that you'd only wanna play it from way ahead. It seems win-more-y. Maybe if it doesn't work as intended out of the gate they lower the cost but increase the turns? Like a 4 mana card but you have to survive 7 turns or something.
@GatsbyCioffi I've played maybe 10 to 12 games with it and went about 50/50. I've only won twice by way of wheel of death. And the first time, I would have won without it, but passed to see the animation, lol. So, one real win with it in a dozen games. You're exactly right. Most of the time, I was ahead because of big demons and didn't need the wheel.
I agree on the most placements for all Cards from A - F. But I disagree on some cards in the S-Rank. Khadgar, The Paladin legendary and Horsemen seem good. But I feel Like they are not on the same Level as Dragon Timewarp, Infinite Heropowers or Shudderblock. But I can accept the Arguement about the Flavour of Horsemen, even if I am not the biggest fan of him.
@@barcster2003 yeah colifero can be really strong with the right support but it also requires a specific setup which also limits the deckbuilding. For now I agree with Zeddy here that Colifero is more of a meme card
@shiizaad I was able to get consistent setups of very good minions. It does limit deck building and requires non minion swarm generators but it was very good. In priest I had boards like 6 ragnaros, 6 titans, ect. You don't even need 6 even getting 2 and the one in hand is also really good becuase you likely cheated a bunch of mana still. So even if you change 2 tokens it's still incredible. For example multiple gnome muncher would be great. Any titan is incredible to have multiple of, ect.
Ccg is neat but I wonder if there was a better alternative than just making them a death rattle. It doesn’t suit the idea of demon hunter but I guess anything faster would make things a bit too risky.
Khadgar might be fun, but I don't think he will be any good. I would give him a low C tier ranking. Is this card going to take into account the opponent's hand size or the fact that the opponent has been holding the left-most card in their hand for 5 turns? Probably not. Is this card going to know when a lethal situation is in the pool of cards, or will it just cast counterspell half the time? I have my doubts. Is it going to take into account what class you are playing against? For example, if I'm playing against paladin then I know I can't leave any minions on the board but maybe the card wants to kill only a few of them. I have my concerns. What the game deems 'helpful' may be what the player knows is not good!
i remain unconvinced of shudderblock it's one of those things that i agree is strong but that can't go face clause is likely to be frustrating in wild and when the card pool is larger in standard
I didn't think we got a huge power creep, so probably we will see familiar decks next expansion, like control warrior. I also think we will see something like overheal priest and maybe an elemental mage ( yes, no spell mage unfortunately)
i wish the dk hero power was instead of "deal 3 damage discover an undead" or something it was "summon a 3,3 undead to charge at the minion it dies afterwords" or something because then it fits into everything!!!
@@phanhuyduc2395 if you look at unholy and blood decks, they require lots of corpses, they get a fair bit of those corpses from your hero power AND NOW with the spell tome it says "gain 5 corpses to upgrade" now if he thinks about the fact that 1 blood 1 unholy is a hand buff deck and that's what the hero card is, it means you DONT HAVE A EASY CHEEP WAY TO GAIR CORPSES! Just start counting how often a dk uses it's hero power a game, how many corpses it gets from hero power, now remove the rest of the game after 4 of those because you probably Wana use that hero card on turn 6,

But yea you're right maybe not right away you don't but I'm sure there will be ways to tutor the head if you want as well. But my point is just that you can get corpses, sometimes more than just the 1, from 1 discover. He been saying it's just gone lol
I completely agree with these votes, taking into account the balance of each card and what it can do, in the end it is to be expected, but honestly speaking that legendary 8 mana warlock is the most pathetic historical card ever made!!

The Hagatha really feels like Mark will do something utterly broken with it, just has that potential to turn spells that were never meant to be repeated over and over again.
i have no idea why people think the death knight hero is going to be any good its asphyxiate for 6 mana then you have to go through all these loops for your hero power i just dont see it working for consistency alone its cool but very bad
If they are rotating out don't because they will go out of standard. If it's one in that will be in standard (festival, titans, badlands) there's still good cards. Deep miner Brann for example is a really good card.
Crusaders aura - oh no. It will work. Doesn't even need to be the card used on li na. Would spell effects happen before of after summon because if its after flash sale will also be good. But you are right li na into board buff means it will be good.

People see Zarimi as an OTK setup, i see it as a end game value play. Whenever you keep a few minions om board just take that extra turn and wallop

@@shiizaadI think stitchensew will be good. There's defintely ways to spread deathrattle so it will likely be good as a triple discover deathrattle.
I think the only way Wheel of Death guaranteed works is when it's generated by Quest Mage and they take 5 turns in a row
INB4 this combo - Location turn before Wheel, Wheel+Fanottem+location for 2 15/15s, Reno, Tony, Twisting, Twisting, win.
I think it will work in standard. You have to play with it in mind though so a large delay warlock.

One thing I realized is that Sonya can copy your Azerite snake spells which is nuts
Also your wishing well 1 mana legendary minions. Snake is gonna be quite a bit weaker because of scourge illusionist rotating.

i remain unconvinced of shudderblock it's one of those things that i agree is strong but that can't go face clause is likely to be frustrating in wild and when the card pool is larger in standard

Overheal priest is likely with raza. There is easy way to press hero power over and over now.

i wish the dk hero power was instead of "deal 3 damage discover an undead" or something it was "summon a 3,3 undead to charge at the minion it dies afterwords" or something because then it fits into everything!!!

@@phanhuyduc2395 if you look at unholy and blood decks, they require lots of corpses, they get a fair bit of those corpses from your hero power AND NOW with the spell tome it says "gain 5 corpses to upgrade" now if he thinks about the fact that 1 blood 1 unholy is a hand buff deck and that's what the hero card is, it means you DONT HAVE A EASY CHEEP WAY TO GAIR CORPSES! Just start counting how often a dk uses it's hero power a game, how many corpses it gets from hero power, now remove the rest of the game after 4 of those because you probably Wana use that hero card on turn 6,

Only if you get the head. He is right It's harder to get corpses if you do use that hero card I still think its worth it though.

But yea you're right maybe not right away you don't but I'm sure there will be ways to tutor the head if you want as well. But my point is just that you can get corpses, sometimes more than just the 1, from 1 discover. He been saying it's just gone lol

in the first 10 you get either a golden or signature. Diamond don't come from packs.
