I just crafted Zilliax, Rainbow Seamstress, and R.C. Rampage on my FTP account, so thank you for confirming I did not waste my dust. However, I also crafted Cardboard Golem on day 1 to play Aura Paladin so my instincts weren't perfect.
It's bad but honestly most fun paladin deck imo using things like ziliax and titan and other control cards, then win off aura value is so much more fun everything else paladin is doing right now lol
I had a game where I got it as priest and his last charge was fireball while my opponent had exactly 6 health. He hit one of their minions. It's kinda hilarious how dumb it can be sometimes.
Honestly I felt bad about the legendaries I got, but it seems like 80% suck so maybe I'm not super unlucky (except for my signature being an un-rerollable Li'na)
For demon hunter the weapon helps put Windowshopper over the top. That with instrument tech almost always guarantees a turn 4 Windowshopper play that can shut out games.
Im playing a burn freeze mage right now… sitting at diamond 1 right now its been melting paladins because there arent many minions in the deck for them to lifesteal off of
Headless Horseman shouldn't have a rune requirement imo. It's an hero card so it would be cool to include it in any DK deck if you really want. You lose the opportunity to discover it out of the rune discovers (Hematurge, the unholy dude, and the Primus basically) but if you remove that option then you can safely buff the card without altering its cost basically. It's meant to be a card for the late game so buffing its mana cost kinda goes against that philosphy and would make it almost auto-include in every DK deck since the hero power is strong even without the head
I never used the headless horseman with any significant effect, I actually replaced it with some common undead 2 mana thing that generates an unholy rune card. Much more useful
I noticed a bunch of rare cards missing after rotation, I am not even sure if I have accidentally disenchanted them when searching for extra copies as they "belong" to the core sets, such as Selective Breeder, Graveyard Shift, the most annoying being patchwerk(legendary) etc. Those golden cards earned from rewards track, I would disenchant the normal ones, to have more dust. Blizzard have made a post of this, but it feels bad that we players have to be very careful when crafting or disenchanting extra copies.
They were given for free when they were in the Core set. You’ll have to craft them if you want to use them. You never spent gold or dust on those cards so you didn’t lose anything.
I was goofing around with a weapon highlander DH last night, it used instrument smasher, all the little weapons, grimtotem buzzkill, kurtriss, reno, etc. it was really fun! and it actually won a few games! not a positive wr but I actually think theres a deck to be made there...
it ran the magtheradon redcard combo as well as the new miniaturize demon who discovers demons too, to try to set up dormant board wipes for multiple turns to keep the board open for my weapons
The only cards i have crafted yet are windowshopper (holy molly, that card is cool) and ZILLIAX. I use the +1+1 and cost 1 less for every minion on board in aggro hunter because i was missing a rare and i didnt wanted to craft it, so i crafted that instead, since im sure it will see a lot of play
the miniaturized cards just provide so much value to agro decks. I will say Puzzle master Khadar was my first craft. I play mage about +80%. Im not sure how I feel about him. I will say one game I did 100% win because of him against a hunter. I got 4 ice barriers and a blizzard. but most of the time he is okay.
Got khadgar off of amanthul in priest, played reno, pinged the opponent down to 6. Khadgar fireballed an enemy minion. Thought this was supposed to be similar to zeph, not game losing : (
@@kennethxu1789 yea I heard he was like zeph too but I think the only times it has gotten me lethal is when the board is clear, my hand is full and the oponet is under 3 life. also the other situations that makes me think its nearly random ( or maybe it looks at the start of the turn not the end). Like there will be a huge minion with less then 6 health and it will fireball face, or frost bolt it. I'm like why!!!. The one that killed me and made me think it cant have any kind of intelligent . oponet has full bord with lethal and it gives me counterspell. The same thing came up again but I randomly generated a DOOMSAYER. I was like okay there is no way any card is better the blizzard here. counter spell. Like I wish it would either work better or give you the option of 3. Like it would work kinda like a location where it would be like click the weapon discover a basic mage spell to cast at the end of the turn. Funny fact. I back to hs to check new expansion. I craft it Whizbang to check how the meta look like, check cards, decks and yeah Whizbang kicked me to platinum 5 :D I had enough gold, dust to craft 5 decks and I really like it new expansion, its funyy, fast and fights they don't take 30 min as it was with Reno, Highlander meta. Paladin is OG it's a first class to nerf Hunter he base on two cards on doggy card and location Death Kninght finally is playable which has sense (bravo !) Warrior Reno its meta breaker, Odyn version - its Odyn everything else useless New expansion looks fun to play ;)

OMG one way to waste money...playing hearthstone (in classic I spent 1x 50€ that was it) then returned 2 years ago got 50x free packs and since then spent nothing...you ain't need to throw 400bucks on this game to have fun...

Plus i have all the cards for classic but still i dont play it. The reason for my spending is that i havent played the game in 3 years or so, so i had zero standard cards. Now i have all the cards i need+20k dust. And all the gold i get from the reward track i can spend in the next expansions and get a significant number of packs. That means that i invested now to pay less later. I enjoy to try a large amount of decks, not just spam 2. to do that i have to sped. I think of it like this. The number of entertainment divided by dollars per hour. I can spend my money how i fucking want to bro

I crafted the owlonius druid deck day 1 thinking it was interesting enough to bring me into playing more regularly again so sad it's too slow to really do well in this meta especially for season start this year could be miserable if this is the start.
Bro inventor boom is friggin amazing. Especially with zilliax. Zilliax other minions have +1 +1 and summon a copy. Then play bran to get 4 11 attacks immediately
More or less, if you really want to craft something zilliax is being played in a lot of wild decks. Shudderblock goes into Reno Shaman, is not crazy but is good. Zarimi right now goes into shadow priest. Raza is in Reno priest. Wheel of Death is playable, but I guess is not as good as questline warlock. And I’ve seen chemical split used for a Mechathun Warrior but that’s most likely an experimental deck is still. There’s a lot of good cards for Wild in this set but mostly common and rares.

Ive been playing a bit of wild recently and in 30 games its been 3 shadow priest decks 1 pirate rouge 1 beast hunter and the rest have been mech rouge. Anyone else been running into the same decks over and over. (Im in diamond wild)
my two free legendaries (from login and rewards track) were the two Mage ones, I didn't even consider the idea of crafting a mage deck with how god awfully unplayable they look I crafted Whizbang and played for like a day and most of the decks suck and aren't even that fun but that rare time you get to win by attacking with a 24 attack King Plush is 100% worth the time wasted on the god awful warrior deck or playing cringe classes like priest or getting the mage deck and only getting useless 2 drops every single turn (not joking it literslly happened, but I also got a game where I generated Thatelan, that was cool I guess)
After playing all week. I do hope some nerfs come to slow the game down. Death Knight, Warrior, Priest, Shaman, and Demon Hunter feel the most balanced currently. Paladins, Hunters, and Warlocks very OP. No opinion on Druid currently. Warrior looks like the most fun to play as and the most fun to play against, win or loose. But I do think Brann needs to F off. Charge minions need a nerf badly. The game needs Counters and board clears badly. Don’t mind the lack of Counters in this expansion. But I’d hope the focus of the next expansion is a focus on counters. Would also be nice to see neutral Spell cards that can be used by any class. That way the neutral section isn’t just a bunch of minions options.
Epics are not cheap to craft. Back when I didn't have money or a big collection like now if I wanted to make a deck with for example 5 epics I'd have to dust 200 rares just to make them. (2 copies of each epic).
I see headless horseman played tons I see the opponent have time to draw the upgraded hero power and utilize it All the time. Hate the good. It's definitely better than you think
Paladin is way overturned, my opponent killed 7+ minions iger the course of about 4-5 turns that were 8/8 and up to 16/16, and they dealt with those minions as if they were 1/1s.
I'm so glad that shaman and paladin are able to woop ass in this meta Being able to butcher ex mech rogues, control warriors, and all current death knights is truly a joy I hope the fuckery lasts

wheel of death only give you 4 turns to respond and it kills any control deck, you cant play real control on this meta with that thing on, is sad you got stomp by 3 mana Zilliax (tiger) or dead by wheel if you go control/big late game is sad
i just want to play against real players in low mmr i have only gone against bots for like 25 games in standard and wild so i just stoped playing honestly its boring mech rogue or agro pally bots in wild and core set bots in standard untill the next ban wave im just not playing also the meta seems awful

Got mystery egg, silk stitching, chemical spill, origami dragon and botface from packs. My first epic from the rewards track was corridor sleeper. :(

Yes, you can actually deal damage to the enemy hero even though the text says otherwise.
Horseman needs to have no rune requirements, it would fit well in triple blood control, but the runes are hindering it.
Zilliax's discount module is going to get nerfed to only friendly minions and/or gets mana increase. And it will still be very good.

This meta is fast, most of the aggro decks have solid board of 20/20 stats at turn 4-5, if you play slow deck. And it's standard...
Best cards to craft are Tigress Plushy and Deputization Aura.

Epics are not cheap to craft. Back when I didn't have money or a big collection like now if I wanted to make a deck with for example 5 epics I'd have to dust 200 rares just to make them. (2 copies of each epic).

Paladin is way overturned, my opponent killed 7+ minions iger the course of about 4-5 turns that were 8/8 and up to 16/16, and they dealt with those minions as if they were 1/1s.
I´m sick of Aggro Paladin again and again, would have loved to see a new spin on pure paladin or a cool mechanic but no, new season same bs.
I'm so glad that shaman and paladin are able to woop ass in this meta

I disenchanted every demon hunter card I ever got to get 4.4k essence. I hate blizzard for making me do that. Just so I could have just one deck thats complete in standard
Whizbang is the only craftable gold card i have and it was the best 3200 dust I ever burned 😂
The highest playrate (and winrate) legendary is The Primus. DK is absolutely bonkers this expansion.

Its comical that I posted a forum thing before launch about what a joke the warrior package was. And people were holy convinced that I was in the wrong. But anyone with a working brain can see these warrior cards are horribly expencive.

Nah. They’ll never nerf Leeroy. Paladin needs its healing and handbuffs nerfed more so. And the Hunter location is the big problem

wheel of death only give you 4 turns to respond
and it kills any control deck, you cant play real control on this meta with that thing on, is sad
you got stomp by 3 mana Zilliax (tiger) or dead by wheel if you go control/big late game

i just want to play against real players in low mmr i have only gone against bots for like 25 games in standard and wild so i just stoped playing honestly its boring mech rogue or agro pally bots in wild and core set bots in standard untill the next ban wave im just not playing also the meta seems awful
