As Always - great video. I am a lifelong(57) bachelor, never been happier. Retirement is 2 years away, It would have never been possible if I had been yoked to a cart for someone else's benefit. I have a busy stressful job in healthcare, direct care. Very fulfilling job. It has facilitated my lifestyle. But to balance it, I have the peace and quite of my home, and my intense hobby on motorcycles. I love it all. Success, peace, and play.
Was in the gym this a.m. per at 58 I've been lifting weights for 40 plus yrs. Now the gym is mostly filled with masculine women sporting mega tattoos and wearing yoga pants. I think peace comes out of suffering. After a lifetime of losing everything that meant anything to you you have no choice but to let go, or stay in suffering and lose your sanity. Peace seems to come after resignation. We surrender and become so numb to it all we end up emotionally flatlined. There's some peace to be found in the inevitable numbness.
Thank you, Spetsnaz, to hear you say and discuss these things openly is the breathe of wisdom I need to survive in this modern age. Your words validate quite a few of my own thoughts and observations on society.
If the traditionalists were correct, then their point of view would be self-evident. It would not need to be repeated with so much emotional manipulation, shame, extortion, and guilt.

I seek to continue my own journey even if my words fail to reach any ears other than my own, and I hope the same for those few akin to me. Better to take your own wisdom than to let no one take it. No one was ever all that interested in my bridges, but I continue to enjoy making them.
There are far too many in this sphere loitering around the tabloid rack rather than doing the heavy lifting that is required and done in the philosophy section. It was inevitable... They do have the courtesy to leave the brooms that they were sweeping their beach with, in an effort to hold back the tide, in their vehicles, but their overinflated egos are always showing. They oft stroll in in uniform. Thanks, for consistently not being one of those compromised "men."

HELLO spetznas Thank you for your many videos on topics like the meaning of life, philosophy, and one's own path. On one hand, statements like "it's okay if you don't achieve anything in this life" feel liberating. On the other hand, it seems like I'm using such statements as an excuse. I already have little idea of what I want to achieve in this life or what I even want. I'm not a person who could say with 100% certainty, "I know who I am, I know what I stand for, and I know what I want from this life." That's why such a statement suits me, as I don't have to invest any effort from the start. After all, it's okay if I don't achieve anything. So why bother thinking? I can just go back to my bed and watch my silly RUclips videos or play video games. Do you understand what I mean? I'm not saying it applies to you, but I somehow feel like it applies to me.
