Dear me, the loveliness of Oslo and Mochi and now Metaphysics 101! I can't cope. Frankly, the blow-up bath was seriously weird, but each to his own, no doubt. How do you fully dry it afterwards? I do wonder what Mr J thinks of this gizmo. I see you use Flora which we of course have here. However, I never deny myself butter (and whole milk and full-fat cheese) on a daily basis. Life is too short - believe me, at 75 - to constantly attend to one's health (unless, of course, there is good reason to do so). I also find autumn beautiful, if melancholic. I'm struck where I live in the Midlands how many people passing by my bungalow are not looking around, but with their faces in their phones, even while walking their dogs. Excuse me, I've rattled on. Hello Robert in the UK- your comment made me smile. Especially the part where you wonder what Mr. J thinks of the inflatable bath. Well, he thinks it's weird, and won't ever use it, but he accepts it and says, "oh well, if it makes you happy" 😂 After use, I put it up against the wall, the next day it's dry, and I let the air out, and put it away. It is a bit of work, but I was missing soaking in a tub so much, so for me, it's worth it 😋 Ps, interesting that you have the same brand of margarine, Flora in the UK! I LOVE butter, but in the mornings, I don't have the patience to wait for it to soften up...

I have reached the stage where, to quote Nigella Lawson, ' I have had more dinners than I will in the future '. Looking back I don't think being someone, or achieving status provides meaning. However making a difference to people and creatures does give a sense of purpose. Whether that is helping a colleague to grow and develop, making a friend laugh or helping a stranger in your city. With animals it comes from the sense that they enjoy being with you. There is no intellectual calculation on their part. Just instinctively sensing that you are good and will look after them. That unconditional love is closer to the meaning of existence than pages of philosophy.

I think the true meaning of life is what is unique to what makes you happy. It isn’t accumulating stuff, it is the enjoyment of what you already have, whether that is a job, family, friends, partners, etc. I think you are a peaceful minded individual that sees the goodness in things other people take for granted. You are present in your life and not wishing it away. May you have many years to live what you call an ordinary life. I think it is spectacular!
Beautiful autumn views and deep thoughts. About two years ago I read a book about gratitude, it had exercises for each day of the month and it really makes you aware of everything you have in life. Mochi is so charming tax collector😍 I have one like that at home too. We have a cheese tax, an apple tax, a veggie tax, and even a potato tax😂 Thank you so much for such a cozy vlog. @kristy_chester I had to laugh over the fact that you also have a tax collector. I can imagine Chester collecting a lot of taxes! 😂 Mochi doesn't like apples or most veggies. She just spits them out. Haha. But of course cheese, meat and other human foods are always welcome... How different dogs are- they are like humans really. Each with their own personality. I can see that you would not be left alone in the tub if Chester loves water. It's so sweet, really. Princess Mochi on the other hand does not like to get wet. Every time I'm in the shower and she hears the sound of water, she runs! 😂 Last night it was raining, and Mr. J took her out, and when they came to the door, she turned around with a disgusted look saying "Are you kidding me?!? He doesn’t miss a single puddle. Sometimes he even speeds up and dives straight into the puddle. And in the summer, when Chester was staying with my friend, he just walked into a puddle and lay down in it, refusing to come out. I'm pulling out my winter gear too---quarter zip pullovers and blankets. I also bought some new clothes for the first time in 5, 6 or more years. It's my first time ever seeing an inflatable bathtub. A practical item for those who like soaking in warm water in winter but don't otherwise need a space-hogging permanent tub.

Ne bi vjerovao koliko ljudi u ovom gradu ima psa! Čini mi se više od pola grada. Ono što mi se ne dopada je što mnogo ljudi satima drži pse kraj nogu u prepunim baštama cafea ili u trgovinama i šetnji ulicama punim automobila. Ali toliko ljubitelja pasa nigdje nisam vidjela i to je divno. Vrijeme na Ibizi je divno, ljeto još traje, ali nisam išla na plažu jer toliko toga ima za vidjeti 🎉 Sutra se vraćamo za Sarajevo. Frankly, the blow-up bath was seriously weird, but each to his own, no doubt. How do you fully dry it afterwards? I do wonder what Mr J thinks of this gizmo.
I see you use Flora which we of course have here. However, I never deny myself butter (and whole milk and full-fat cheese) on a daily basis. Life is too short - believe me, at 75 - to constantly attend to one's health (unless, of course, there is good reason to do so).
I also find autumn beautiful, if melancholic. I'm struck where I live in the Midlands how many people passing by my bungalow are not looking around, but with their faces in their phones, even while walking their dogs.

Hello Robert in the UK- your comment made me smile. Especially the part where you wonder what Mr. J thinks of the inflatable bath. Well, he thinks it's weird, and won't ever use it, but he accepts it and says, "oh well, if it makes you happy" 😂
After use, I put it up against the wall, the next day it's dry, and I let the air out, and put it away. It is a bit of work, but I was missing soaking in a tub so much, so for me, it's worth it 😋

I have reached the stage where, to quote Nigella Lawson, ' I have had more dinners than I will in the future '. Looking back I don't think being someone, or achieving status provides meaning. However making a difference to people and creatures does give a sense of purpose. Whether that is helping a colleague to grow and develop, making a friend laugh or helping a stranger in your city. With animals it comes from the sense that they enjoy being with you. There is no intellectual calculation on their part. Just instinctively sensing that you are good and will look after them. That unconditional love is closer to the meaning of existence than pages of philosophy.

I think the true meaning of life is what is unique to what makes you happy. It isn’t accumulating stuff, it is the enjoyment of what you already have, whether that is a job, family, friends, partners, etc. I think you are a peaceful minded individual that sees the goodness in things other people take for granted. You are present in your life and not wishing it away. May you have many years to live what you call an ordinary life. I think it is spectacular!

My friends recommended that type of bathtub to me as well. We also have a very small bathroom with only a shower. But I’m afraid I won’t be able to enjoy a bath because Chester loves water! In our previous apartment, we had a bathtub, and he didn’t want to leave it😅 He would lie down and splash around in the water🥰 So I don’t even remember the last time I cozied up in the bath with a book and tea.

And in the summer, when Chester was staying with my friend, he just walked into a puddle and lay down in it, refusing to come out. My friend had to lure him out with treats😆

I'm pulling out my winter gear too---quarter zip pullovers and blankets. I also bought some new clothes for the first time in 5, 6 or more years. It's my first time ever seeing an inflatable bathtub. A practical item for those who like soaking in warm water in winter but don't otherwise need a space-hogging permanent tub.

Iako sam prije par dana sa sinom došla na mali odmor na Ibizu, ipak zadržavam mala uobičajena zadovoljstva. Jedno od njih je da pogledam tvoju novu priču. Ne bi vjerovao koliko ljudi u ovom gradu ima psa! Čini mi se više od pola grada. Ono što mi se ne dopada je što mnogo ljudi satima drži pse kraj nogu u prepunim baštama cafea ili u trgovinama i šetnji ulicama punim automobila. Ali toliko ljubitelja pasa nigdje nisam vidjela i to je divno.

My mother is experiencing some cognitive problems and the situation has been quite hard. So I try to be grateful with what I have and enjoy the little things like a good book, a nice chat or your nice videos…🙏🏻🥰
