Love the reports, and great to see less-common armies being played!
That was some aggressive deployment of those Italian tanks, Travis! Great game!
Nice to see different armies on the table. Agreed that the free units/extra tank option for the Commonwealth make it a bit tasty!. On the competition circuit it's usually cut back to either one or the other. Didn't help that you got counter deployed, and Andre didn't miss! I

Come on. Anyone who expected an Italian chance with two Matildas vs M13/40s is dreaming. This was a foregone conclusion.

I was just about to say the same, there’s also the chance the shell hit the top floor and not the ground floor.
Always like your Bolt Action content. Losing those two tanks back to back stunk (but in my few games my Sherman get lit up Ronson style).

Guys why dont you ever do the turret jam roll? It can make a game changing difference if you get your gun stuck facing away and you get immobilised etc. Your forced to use mgs or even dismount the crews so whereas usually theres so few tank kills amd maybe too many immobilised or fires and a few pins the extra roll to see if that turret gets jammed can really make it a sort of killing blow when it wouldnt usually be.
Allows flanking moves to avoid the gun thats stuck in the one direction too so extra tactical options too.
That was harsh! Lovely models and terrain though. Well played, guys. It was interesting to see a non-Europe game, too.

I would not judge their overall performance in this game. This was a fluke. Although they are not amazing overall they can still win games.

Great game and Andre was on fire. The Indian army selection foregoes all the British National characteristics, so no free artillery observer.
Brutal! That was fun to watch, but in a regular list the Sikh’s lose the second Matilda. Taking out two of them is a tough ask!
Poor Travis, your dice luck is similar to my wife's in this match. She once rolled 14d6 and not a single one rolled over a 3.
Probably you already know but that's not the model of an elefantino it's a solothurn anti tank rifle, the elefantino is bigger and needs 3 mens
Yeah I switched to the correct model when I deployed it.
As I'm watching the intro my first thought is: how many points would it be to field the same forces in Chain of Command? LOL
I'll be the first to admit I'm not a huge Bolt Action guy but this looks like it will be a very interesting smash up (he says, all of 5 minutes into the video).
You could only do it using the Big Chain of Command multi player rules

Maybe one of the army-specific or campaign books? I'm new to the game so I might be mistaken.
The army rules are from the western desert campaign book.

Yeah but he played those m13/40 as if they were Tigers, from the start directly in front of those Matildas and 2 pdr Is the best way to lose them
@@zioalecpov1815 that is true as well. The setting for both forces is just off balance. " Dice and unit worth 200 point for free and two of the best early war tanks you will ever find, but that is the way Warlord Games want the game to turn out.
