Hi Jeff - In your 2021 Retrospective video you did say that your videos would be getting better and you certainly didn't waste any time! This video is excellent. I really like the cool transitions and all the great information that we can use for our trip in March. Hope to see you then. Cheers!
Thank you John :)) yeah we’re upping the game this year and with the support of many just like you, we’ll be bringing a whole new dimension to this channel :)) thank you so much and I’ll see you in March !! ;) have a great week!!
Thanx Dan, yes we’re experimenting some new ideas and super excited to see results already within the first day :)) thanx for the continued support and hope to see you in Madeira soon! ✌️
Thanks so much for this info! All great tips in there. One question, where is that forest at 1:37? Would be incredible to capture scenery like that when I visit!
Way To Go "hit the road productions Madeira"..your first 2022 Vlog " kicks it out of the stadium" ( out of the baseball park for us Canadians). Jeff I can see your Vlog is starting to take flight. It seems your production company will get very busy this year ...I'm here for in Mahico for the next 3 months and do enjoy a good stiff local poncha. .although I don't think anyone can make it like you/have given your Poncha Vlog..Cheers..is the best!!!
All your tips are actually saying: spe do way more money than you would have to. Which is i get it if u work in the industry, yet makes it very unavailable or unattainable for a lot of backpackers
Hey Jac, The tips I mentioned are what I believe will genuinely help the majority of people coming. Backpackers, are usually a very small percentage of travellers. I understated how that market works and have actually had a backpacker pay me for the service I offer to help plan the trip, only cost him 4,50 euros. This is in the video above ;) Also, the video wasn’t made with the title “cheapest way to see Madeira” because that doesn’t resonate with what we do as a business. We promote 3 things: 1. Avoiding the crowds 2. Small groups 3. Personalised service There’s a saying in Portuguese which says “o que e barato sai caro” which means what is first cheap becomes expensive ;) Anyway, sorry for my rant ;) If you’re interested in backpacking the island, sign up to our Patreon, and for only 4,50 I can help you plan your trip ;) Cheers buddy and thanx for watching ✌️
@@209CatholicGirl I can try, kind of hard keeping up with all of this and of course we already kind of have the next 3 weeks of content filmed and scheduled. If you're looking for a more personal connection, I suggest you check out our Patreon account, thats where we're helping people on a more one on one basis and for the price of a cheap cocktail you'll get access to this kind of information and more, whenever you want. Hope that helps!
Madeirans are very far from a progressive, tolerant society and are very attached to an old, very backwards, uneducated way of living but the island has great infrastructure, absurd natural beauty and much dignity through noticeable organization and cleanliness. It's diametrically opposite to mainland Portugal.
Hey Diogo! Wow ok, that’s some heavy words there bud. I don’t wanna agree nor disagree with what you’re saying, I mean we’re all human and we all have issues. I choose to see the positive side of things, agree 100% on the infrastructure and I think the people of Madeira are very, very special. I also can’t comment on the mainlanders, we’re all Portuguese and I’m still very curious to learn a lot from our mainland cousins. Good vibes over here brother and thanx for watching ;)

Faltava a música da madeira no vidio !
Pois era! 😂 fica pá próxima ;))
So if I come to travel to madeira from India, how can I meet you or hire you?
And ya can I find only veg food there?
You can find our tours at www.hittheroadmadeira.com (the best way to see Madeira) and yes, there is food for you !! ;))
Hi. Several different pages talk about pre-arrival testing. Is the covid test obligatory or can it be done on arrival? Thanks
I believe it can be done on arrival, best to the check the official sources; visit Madeira or Madeira safe to discover. Good luck!!
the airline might not let you boarding if you don't have negative test. so safer do at your place of departure
@@missGigi14 they asked only for vaccination passports. No test on arrival either
7:19 😂😂😂😂😂
Jeff, looking forward to my Madeira trip. Are they still giving you a free Covid test on the island?
I don’t think so hey, looks as if all restrictions have been dropped. Best you check on Madeira Safe To Discover dot com
So they don’t require masks indoors, correct?
@@209CatholicGirl That is still in place unfortunately.
@@Hittheroadmadeira good to know! Can you let us know once all those are lifted?
