- I continued with framing in the bathroom and with my father we did the installed the water lines before closing the floor. I hope to have the bathroom at the cabin before the snow and below zero temperatures arrive.

I've watched your channel from the beginning of this build.
At 4:am I'm watching you work on the bathroom and I've never seen such huge boards or trees go up in a build.
I'll be 70 in May, if I make it until then, I'll still be watching your Grit and bull dog determination get this house finished.
I personally don't believe you will ever stop putting your signature on your home. You love every moment creating this home for your wonderful family.

The way you stop everything. . .to play with your daughter and do things with your son and wife.

I can't believe the size of the boards either. I'm 80 and 2 years ago I replaced my deck. I had difficulty lifting the 2 X 1.5 X 12 foot boards. I could never lift the boards that Nic is lifting.
My wife will love the scenes with the curious cat, shows your gentle personality so well. How nice to have your dad help you, that is very special and will be a long lasting memory.

P.E. plastic welding !!! Love it , haven't seen or done in over 25yrs but still believe its the best and most reliable !!!! Brings back memories , did Plastic gas pipe welding for years back in the late 80's and 90's , Cheers , NIK !!!

Lordy! The faces I saw in the clouds around 7:25-7:30 were eerie! You are a one-man working crew and the wood that you are handling should stand up to a hurricane. Nice attention to detail around the bases of the upright beams (not sure what you call them other than columns 🤒. Thanks for bringing us along yet once more.

Nicely done. When you are making plumbing you should insulate the tubes because of the dewing and expansion. It is really satisfying to watch the progress and your work. Keep building 👊

It’s so nice to be able to see your latest video, I see many videos of people building their cabins etc. but there is nowhere’s that is being built that compares to what you are achieving, I know at times you must be so tired but what you have achieved so far is beyond fantastic, you go from strength to strength. Hi nik I'm loving the channel I've been watching for a long time now
And loving the house come along from start to present day
But I don't know if anybody else has mentioned this but I've noticed your physical strength also grow
I know from when I used to build Scandinavian block homes back when I was younger for a company in Finland
From garden sheds upto 160 Square foot homes the pre packed sort (big jigsaw type)
I know that my physical strength increased massively
Anyway keep up the good work it's good in all ways

I find it interesting that you melt your waterline connections. Several years ago I was the Maintenance manager for a corporation and we had an underground natural gas leak. Once the leak was found we had to replace many feet of gas line. The pipe was 4" in diameter. It was joined by clamping the two sections and spinning a metal disc between them. The friction of the spinning disk melted the ends. The disc was quickly removed and the pipe ends drawn together. The material was HDPE.
