Fast forward 20 years and I'm working as a framer and I've been doing so for the past 7-8 years. This video right here is my unspoken dream come true for me. I really envy you (in a positive way lol) In the beginning of the video I've noticed that your tractor had a license plate that looked like Slovenian (Europe). If my assumptions are correct, the only thing I can add is "Bravo majstore, svaka ti čast!" And one more thing... I've noticed you've had some people around throughout the video but still majority of time I'm guessing there is nobody with you (winter scenes etc.). Is quite obvious you've got the skills but please stay safe nonetheless. Much love and respect my brother, greetings from Canada.

Usually dreams never just "come true" - we have to work hard on them. Congratulations on making your dream reality through awesome hard work. Good luck in future. Respect!
Yeah, moving the camera every time he does something can be a pain! I do it with just 2 cameras and it takes 10 times as long. He did all of this Not with just his benefit in mind , but with the viewers perspective.
Silence is golden to me in these sorta videos. ESPECIALLY when I dont have to hear the individual eating. Absolutely stellar job so far, continuing to watch.

This is one of the most incredible projects I can ever imagine trying to tackle. And to do nearly all of it solo is even more unbelievable. The ability to figure out the logistics of bringing logs to site, move them, cut them, trim them and set them is amazing. This is extraordinary. What an accomplishment. I can hardly wait to see the finished project. Well done, sir!
We have been building a log and timber frame home in Washington State - mostly by ourselves - but, we have hired help along the way. The work this fellow is doing is absolutely incredible! Sooo, very much work and takes grit and pure determination! Is very slow going - but, his family will be able to enjoy it for generations to come! How very Beautiful to see the love go on and on to his Family Members! So much more meaning then a stick house someone else built! I admire him very much!
Nice to meet you. I am Japanese. My name is Jota Inui. I was a teacher for 27 years, but I had a stroke and had to quit my beloved job. And now, I am creating woodwork art works using world heritage Yakusugi and sacred trees. I have a variety of disabilities due to cerebral infarction. The right face has pain from being cut with multiple kitchen knives. And the left lower leg was left with a disability that was burned by the gas burner. Except when I'm sleeping, I'm living in a living hell of intense pain. In that living hell of pain, I am creating fishing charms and woodwork art works using the world heritage Yakusugi and sacred trees. I watched your RUclips and was deeply moved. Because you are challenging yourself with a very difficult task by yourself. And you are always working hard to make your dreams come true. Your home build is amazing. When I look at your house building, I feel that you are creating a work of art called a house. When I saw you working hard, my heart warmed and I thought that I had to work harder. Even though I am disabled, I have much to learn from your way of life. You are such a wonderful human being. I respect you with all my heart. And you give me the strength to survive. Sincerely thank. thank you very much. I look forward to your success. you are a really great human being.
In a world where people complain instead of being grateful and coveting instead of working towards and making their own, your comment shared your hardship and pain yet you found good to say and good to do from this, you Sir also are an outstanding human being, I hope and pray your burden to ease and your warmth not get extinguished that your ways make a difference in someone else's life and may this experience stay in my mind and help make a difference in my life

this has so far been the most fun 30 minutes of my life 1 hour in still interesting enough to watch :) 1 hour 30 I really like how you edited the videos after 2 hours of watching this instead of doing something productive my boss is very happy with me...
The planning (which we don't see), the design, and, of course, the execution is simply mesmerizing. The house is a piece of art and the recording of its construction is both art and a gift to all of us who choose to share the journey.
Everyone's impressed at how he made it, meanwhile, I'm impressed at how he doesn't have to listen to music or podcasts to pass the time. It's just him and nature.
Stunning documentary, the care he took to not only do this painstaking work, but also to stop what he was doing to carefully place the camera into position, walk back what he was doing, always thinking of the viewer-unbelievable. This man has to be one of the most self-disciplined individuals I have ever encountered. Most of us would have tried and given up after a few hours. Let there be no mistake-what he is doing is dangerous and he risks lots of injuries-but my impression is that he is a careful, cautious individual so is avoiding careless errors. Working late at night also increases the probability of injury due to fatigue. The silence is powerful-sure it would be interesting for those interested in actually building a log cabin to have some instructional dialogue, but for most of us this is not necessary. Those interested certainly are free to reach out to this videographer. Again, I'm stunned at what he is doing and has done. I'm so happy to see that he has millions of views! Congratulations, Mr. Rijavec!
i couldent agree with you more this guy allways thinks of his viewers eaven if hes alredy doing somthing he takes alot of time out of his day to put out content for us to watch and learn in the mean time he dosent have to o this but he wants to becuse this is what he loves to do but he dosent have to do this for us he could be doing somthing else but like i said he allways thinks of his viewers first and i got to pay him respect man i think him for every thing he dose
the effort you put on this, the edit, the precious views of your country, i mean, this is an example of pure effort and beautiful content, im a fan right now, you deserve a lot of views.
You thoroughly mesmerized me from the start, nil narrative is much better, & you're good at making cabin builder not as good - and all on your own most of the time. Once other cabin builders start narrating i change back to you. Actually you make me want to try cabin building & im 71 - keep building & be safe from NZ🇳🇿
I was highly impressed when he changed the tractor tire. I've changed them before. They weigh a lot. I'm 51 now. I wish I still had the energy to do work like this. I loved it. He did a great job on this project. If I had the land I would so do this with some help.
I wonder how much time he spent on it, where he lived in proximity to his work site, etc. I get the feeling he's lived and worked on site there for long chunks of time. I think inpart of the video, it shows a little shack (i cold be wrong). Taking on this project off grid would likely have to be your full time gig, right?
My brother, why are you working yourself so hard? What you and your father built was just awesome. I wish I could be there to help, not young enough. I have a bad back. But I'm so proud of you and what you're doing. GOD BLESS BE SAFE TAKE CARE BRO, 🙏 ❤️ 🙌
Simply amazing. I don't know where to begin to describe what I felt watching this: having a vision, nothing is impossible, hard work pays off, you can do so much even with a limited set of tools, time is so precious to waste on meaningless things, and on and on and on.

Fast forward 20 years and I'm working as a framer and I've been doing so for the past 7-8 years. This video right here is my unspoken dream come true for me. I really envy you (in a positive way lol)
In the beginning of the video I've noticed that your tractor had a license plate that looked like Slovenian (Europe). If my assumptions are correct, the only thing I can add is "Bravo majstore, svaka ti čast!"
And one more thing... I've noticed you've had some people around throughout the video but still majority of time I'm guessing there is nobody with you (winter scenes etc.). Is quite obvious you've got the skills but please stay safe nonetheless.
Much love and respect my brother, greetings from Canada.
This man took the words of his mom “go out and play instead of staying inside all day” to a whole other level
Mad respects
Build like a true slav! „This my job and that’s it“ svaka ti čast zemljace !
The cinematography and editing is so good too. This is a piece of art.
This is outstanding the fact you did this alone, set up all of those cameras, put that much effort in deserves some recognition great job!
That's Exactly what I thought 😅
Some people amaze!
Outstanding work but at exactly 46:00 into the video...another worker lol.
But he wasn't alone... 😂 😂
Perseverance and determination. All alone for the most part. Incredible.
I grew up in a log-house that my father and my mom built together by themselves in Russia. Winter times -30 but you feel safe as long as you are inside.
👏👏 that's really cool
YOUR PARENTS ARE WONDERFUL
Now that's love.
One of the most rewarding videos that I have every watched on RUclips. Your commitment and dedication to recording this in such an artistic manner is greatly appreciated and enjoyed by most who watch it. Thank you!
Beautiful
Now imagine the people from back then, having to build their home, but without the tools he’s using? Crazy.
Rubio Carlos they had a lot more people to do that and also they would have built something much easier not a log cabin like a tipee
Try looking for Townsend. They did this in a more colonial way. Different video style and some talking of course. They made a small and simple version
The buildings were also not this well built but yea it’s crazy to think about
Sam Coffey oh yeah all of you have a good point. Having to build your own home no matter what size seems pretty hard still I’d say.
They have way more man power and it didn’t matter about money and jobs back then so they had all day
Ladies and gentlemen this is not just a guy in the woods building a cabin, but a guy with a vision and perseverance in achieving a wonderful woodland masterpiece and a place he can someday call home.
Amen, Bro,
That's a whole YEAR of moving log after log. Dont tell him this but trees are Friggin heavy, bro. This was really inspiring. You're a monster, dude. Truly amazing.
@OZIEE Studio23 Either one works, Bro.
@MortalchiefZ Did you not watch him lift and pull the trees with his on strength whilst trying to pit them on the house? Idk about you but that takes emense strength and patience and I respect that.
33:50 the wat the snow comes off the wood is so satisfied
Anyone else think of the John Wick dialogue “He is a man of focus, commitment, sheer will”
No not at all
Usually dreams never just "come true" - we have to work hard on them. Congratulations on making your dream reality through awesome hard work. Good luck in future. Respect!
He is also doing the filming. This dude is a rock.
He has a friend who helps him move the camera
I'm curious how long this took to edit
Yeah, moving the camera every time he does something can be a pain! I do it with just 2 cameras and it takes 10 times as long. He did all of this Not with just his benefit in mind , but with the viewers perspective.
@@camprandy yeah, totally.
he is THE rock
the way you just flipped the axe in the tree stump... thumbs up
Watching him shave the tree, is more satisfying than those soap aesthetic vids
Clicked this thinking "I'll just watch a quick video before I head to bed."
Maybe I'm not sleeping after all.
U kidding me this video took forever😒
it's 3:17 am and i said the same 2 hour ago
Exactly what happened to me!
Lol
Literally me, right now.
Silence is golden to me in these sorta videos. ESPECIALLY when I dont have to hear the individual eating. Absolutely stellar job so far, continuing to watch.
Nik has the Herculeum's strength and works at least like two men. He knows dam well what he has to do and do it perfectly. Quite an example for our youth. Thanks for this video Nik and such a nice work done.We need more of thèse videos !
Agreed, what an awesome display of skill, patience, dedication, and unbelievable hard work
We have been building a log and timber frame home in Washington State - mostly by ourselves - but, we have hired help along the way.
I've never seen the joints done like that, never seen the scribe tool he used. It sure does make for a perfect joint.
Pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp].
Truly remarkable!
Shout out to the real MVP here, the Husqvarna chainsaw.
That and the little two wheeled cart he hauled all them logs with
Husqy will provide.
Dave Rudabaugh
I'm behind, didn't catch the location. Thx.
I thought i was watching a commercial every time he had the camera on it going through log lmao
The Stihl saw did all the fancy carvin’
I look forward to your success. you are a really great human being.
... Yeah ! ... he's an real artist !!! .. of cause .. " all you need ! .. is a place you call .. HOME " ... Voila ! ...
In a world where people complain instead of being grateful and coveting instead of working towards and making their own, your comment shared your hardship and pain yet you found good to say and good to do from this, you Sir also are an outstanding human being, I hope and pray your burden to ease and your warmth not get extinguished that your ways make a difference in someone else's life and may this experience stay in my mind and help make a difference in my life
How can you just have four likes what you said about yourself? You're pain you live what about this man, I said a man, you are a Stong man and I am proud of you too. YOU SHOULD HAVE 4, M, LIKES. GOD BLESS YOU. WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THIS MAN ABOUT YOU WAS SO WONDERFUL WONDERFUL
this has so far been the most fun 30 minutes of my life
1 hour in still interesting enough to watch :)
1 hour 30 I really like how you edited the videos
after 2 hours of watching this instead of doing something productive my boss is very happy with me...
RUclips : *recommends this*
Me at 3am : *yes*
Knowing you that you wont get any sleep tonight ether. Haha
me at 5 am hmm good watch
3:15am for me right now lol
lol kkk
I lost 2 hours of sleep watching this video but it was def worth it
I didn’t come here intending to watch the entire video, but once it started I couldn’t stop
I also like the "self reliance" channel and the Shawn James channel for building a cabin by yourself.
The planning (which we don't see), the design, and, of course, the execution is simply
mesmerizing. The house is a piece of art and the recording of its construction is both art and a gift to all of us who choose to share the journey.
pealing carrots is hard enough, a stack of trees is crazy!
Pealed trees.
Gillar viiii🥰🥰🥰🥰
I eat my trees with the shell thanks
Everyone's impressed at how he made it, meanwhile, I'm impressed at how he doesn't have to listen to music or podcasts to pass the time. It's just him and nature.
The podcast of nature is much more rewarding
Tonicareira
@@darmy9548 not really
If he was at one with nature he wouldn't be chopping that many trees down.... Round of applause 👏

not going to lie i used ur video as a asmr best sleep ive ever had woke up to seeing a beautiful start to ur house
just imagine if his kids look at this in their recommendations 10 years from now

Take a moment to appreciate how it took 1 year to build a house, and then edit a collection of year-long footage all by himself.
And there is no add
Yeah, it took a year....?
I mean if you build a house all by yourself - this doesn’t seem to be a challenge for this guy.
yeah inside his new LOG CABIN
Simp
Working alone far afield compounds the risk to life and limb you speak of .
qtalabi has fortnite pfp
Same like one man building this house and didn't give up like that's impressive thos dude is just so awesome
That behind the back axe throw at 25:30 was badass
my brain really had a dont just stand there help him moment a few times
This man is at peace with himself and is not worried about missing a damn thing around the world
Probably for the best right now...
amen brother
@Greg Ballard You got that right!
Well nothing except making sure he wont make a mistake that'll cost him a year of hard work.
This man is on a mission and he WILL not quit until his dream home is completed.
the effort you put on this, the edit, the precious views of your country, i mean, this is an example of pure effort and beautiful content, im a fan right now, you deserve a lot of views.
its called passion my dude

Yes true

Greg Grimer yeah
@Aden Cuevas actually thats what you kids think is so cool
@Ed Gah thank you, I was looking if anyone said this otherwise I would have😂
You thoroughly mesmerized me from the start, nil narrative is much better, & you're good at making cabin builder not as good - and all on your own most of the time. Once other cabin builders start narrating i change back to you.
Actually you make me want to try cabin building & im 71 - keep building & be safe from NZ🇳🇿
Can we all just stop and take a moment to realize, this person is moving trees around with his hands.
This man is seems to be in a good place in life, I'm happy for him
Spent my whole Saturday morning watching this. Amazing dude. You are the literal opposite of instant gratification.
When the lights go out someday - this dude will be ready.
Yeah
To be young again!
Me:
RUclips: Hey wanna see this guy build a cabin?
Also me: sure
K.
You're feeling special about it?
same
Idiot using colons on RUclips now for no reason: FUCK YOU!
la voluntad lo puede todo, eres un gran hombre.
So engrossed by the sharpness of the sound in such a quiet place.
I cant believe he built all of that in just 2 hours😮

@ when you have a vision and mission you don't get tired until the mission is finished. This man is a true genius
I love the sound when he peels trees and when they fall over.
No doubt..He is do that expertly with a highly calculations & precisions by himself..and also advanced in technics..This is the REAL MAN'S WORK!
What
i dont think so
Did You suffer a stroke from writing this clusterfuck
Simply amazing. I don't know where to begin to describe what I felt watching this: having a vision, nothing is impossible, hard work pays off, you can do so much even with a limited set of tools, time is so precious to waste on meaningless things, and on and on and on.
This is like therapy, I could watch for hours.
You sir, are a master of your trade. Thank you for spending all the extra time with the cameras so we could enjoy watching you make your art.
I did watch for hours! Enjoyed every minute .
