I remember got "1 more" too many times including cross burst to to the point I say "aaahh stop bursting" XD
And then here we are struggling and begging for PSE Encore lmao
Might be making a deal with the devil by asking for this but...
I think i would like having "announcer tickets" like voice tickets that changes the announcers voice for that player.
This would give Sega monetary incentive to bring back old announcer and it would also give players more choice.
alongside NGS/Base announcers they can add stuff like
"Quna announcer"
"Sonic announcer"
"DJ Professor K announcer"
Reminds me of Call of Duty Ghost 😂
for me though, i'd just want an option in the settings to choose between ngs or legacy.

Definitely prefer the NGS Bursts and the Climaxes that end in a full-on boss fight, but I'll say I miss the old announcer. And not just for PSE Bursts, but everything. I miss facing down bosses by starting with "EMERGENSHY! CODE: DUEL!"

A lot of the favoritism for PS02 is because the West got so much content at once. I actually prefer the announcement for Burst and Encore in New Genesis. Nostalgia really gets in the way for a lot of people with this game.

ngl i miss the old one but i think the new pse burst fit the ngs aesthetic quite nicely and with the pse climax with a literally final boss fight (which from my experience with base pso2 doesnt really happen much)
The old one is iconic but this is a new generation change doesn’t hurt I’ve played through it all and I love it all ❤🎉
I miss the arcade feel of pso2 regular. I play ngs but definitely miss the original and like it better.
Wish we still had the original announcer, but NGS has better burst IMO.

One day in an Advanced Quest on PSO2 OG we had a 10 Burst and it could have been more but we just had to leave. The one more is kinda hype not gonna lie.
I always enjoyed the Filthy Frank "JUAN MOR" text bubble spam during PSO2 Day😭
The number of enemies that spawn in a burst is based on how many people are in the area. With a full party, just as many monsters would spawn.
Sadly, npcs don't count towards the spawn rate.

Base 1 announcer felt diff like he was hype for us
It can be either because i heard it more after hours grinding them advanced room or candle but man, I never feel so happy heard the announcer just say "one more" uggh the chills

The base games system in all honesty was a lot better
The voice actor had so much more enthusiasm
And it was just a more fun and better time
I miss the one more's. That excitement was just the best when it happened. Ngs could use them for sure. I'm still wondering why there's no pse bursts in the 24 man areas.
I think the difference is that bursts were the cherry on top in PSO2, whereas in NGS, it's forced content and we're used to it, to the point where it doesn't feel thrilling anymore
I haven't played base yet so NGS is what I'm used to 😂
NGS is fine but there was something about the energy the original announcer had that is very endearing

Original guy sounds awesome lol and more of a japanese accent. Don’t hear any accent in the ngs one, but I like the ngs one more since that’s where I started.
Base POS2 was way better than NGG. And there you don't need greend pse bursts, for leveling just go on that quest with +400% exp bust and use some busters. The worst thing in base was affixing.

NGS has the better burst, but itd be way better if it could keep continuing, not just 1 possible encore.

biggest complaint about ngs is the announcer just isn't as good
Honestly feel like base pso2 is still a better game even 3 years later lol. I think the problem is pso formula just doesn't translate well to large open fields the kind of exploration that was needed more more confined and treacherous but maze like with better bosses guarding each floor.
Only draw back imo with base was the burst was very lack luster when only you were around or people didn't stick together during it. Otherwise it was great. I mean cradle of darkness 10 minute pse bursts... too much loot, and I'm afraid the game might break.

Base PSE is better because you have more PA at your disposal to creatively deal with mobs as you wish.
base pso2+ announcer beats the NGS version allways, there is no contest.

I'm kind of glad they turned down the pse burst all those color and yuge lazer beam each time you kill a mob that came out of them was it really annoying to the eyes you couldn't see anything on the screen yo can always go play base if you liked it so much they give you the option ngs it's his own thing

Base pso2 is way better pse brust system. If you have a good group. You can keep the brust goin infinitely. I host cradle of darkness alots. And we cradle runners get the bursts lasting about 15minutes real time. the best is 23mins straight in a cradle run. Now that some great cash run.
