I would like to say a few words, and to start off I appreciate and am thankful for the videos that you create along with the useful content and shortcuts you provide for everyone using grammar hero. I managed to pass the asvab with a 57 with a couple of months studying. Utilize the free content he has and don’t spend your money elsewhere since he’s providing free useful knowledge!!!
@@GrammarHero hey, quick question for why are u adding 4 in 18 on both sides I’m just curious because as I’m working these out I get messed up on whether I should be adding on both sides are subtracting both sides?!
Some feedback from the past day! I got a 46 all the up from a 26 FACTS you helped my husband score 60 on the asvab and got in the marine and got the job he wanted today !!! He was dropout student and stopped school for 5 years and his friend got a 40 Man you helped me so much with the asvab, I ship out sep 14 all thanks to you for making amazing videos! Hey grammar hero! I just wanted to let you know that I scored an 87 after watching all of your math/arithmetic videos in about 2 weeks! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Thank you for everything you do! A few months ago I was stuck and didn't really know where to start for studying, but then I found your channel and have been studying almost daily for three months now. And as a result, I got a 64 on my PiCAT! Everything you cover is almost identical to the ASVAB, and even one question was the same word for word. Even my recruiter recommended you and said "We don't even know how he does it", so even they are impressed! Heading to MEPS tomorrow to take a verification test and to start my journey in the Navy! Thanks again man!
Thank you for posting free videos and providing help step by step for the Asvab! Especially the math section, the math is what I needed help on the most and the way you broke it down made sense to me!
You're welcome! For topics like this one, I always try to start with very simple examples in the beginning and build up to harder examples by the end of the video. Good luck!
i have been watching your videos for the past few days i take my test today and you have helped me to know more stuff but i hop i do good today thanks!!

Hello, I hope I can be answered! On excercises 6 and 7 you eliminate the Number using the same sign. It should be the contrary , I'm confused. thank you
For 6 and 7, a negative number divided by a negative number becomes a positive number, and I doubled checked all of these question using this tool here: www.mathpapa.com/equation-solver/
Good luck! I can't stress this enough, but learning and memorizing the stuff in my formula sheet will help you crush it! www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf

How come for problem 11 you subtract 2x+14 to 2x+9 on both sides. But for problem 12 you only subtracted the +8 on both sides and not 2x+8 on both side? If that makes sense. And for number 17. Why did the fraction -4/9 The “4” only got a negative but the “9” didn’t also get a negative? I just thought that if there’s a negative beside the fraction then that means the top and bottom number gets a negative.

How come for problem 11 you subtract
2x+14 to 2x+9 on both sides.
But for problem 12 you only subtracted the
+8 on both sides and not 2x+8 on both side?
If that makes sense.

I just thought that if there’s a negative beside the fraction then that means the top and bottom number gets a negative.
for #7 I put 3 of a common factor of 9 and 18. and my results comes out [.5] or does it have to be the "greatest" common factor?
.5 is the decimal equivalent of 1/2.
.5 = 1/2
