I'm British and I live in California. I have no plans of living in Texas but I find these videos interesting. So many Americans keep going on about "Californians" but so much of California is full of transplants who come and go and move to states like TX, NV, ID, FL, TN etc. where it's cheaper too. The majority of the celebrities who leave CA aren't even from CA like Joe Rogan. They moved there for their careers like me and everyone else.
Having moved to DFW from NY I can honestly say that Texans are some of the most nicest folks I've ever encountered. Friendly and welcoming. If you moved her from NY or Cali you're obviously trying to escape some situation. So I agree with Dana. Don't bring that situation here and muck it up for everyone. It's costly everywhere now. Texas is still somewhat cheaper to live in compared to everywhere else. Except for July/August and lack of things to do within driving distance, Texas is a GREAT place to live and raise a family. Perfect place for kids. I can actually get into a 8/9 rated school district and nice home for less than 600k and maybe even 500k. Try that in NY or California and see if that's possible.
You have an excellent speaking style and your videos are of high quality.
Thank you! 😃
I’m a transplant…and I love Texas!
I always bring the Texan in me wherever I go. It's a blessing to others.

We moved to the Fort Worth area a year ago (from KC) with the help of your agent Ray. He was amazing by the way. We really like Fort Worth, and Texas. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, and we love it.
KC and DFW are very similar.
KC has better BBQ.

Thank you for working with our team! Ray is great! So glad you love Fort Worth!
My acre and 1/2 it is 17 miles from downtown Fort Worth in Azle and its $800k for 2900 sq ft we just moved here from Odessa Tx so this is heaven to us even with drought conditions
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this honest review of Texas. We've been here for a year, and had a lot of encouragement from Dana along the way. We still love it here but it has been a hard adjustment. We live in the country (1.5 hr from the Metroplex), which brings better housing/property prices but harder adjustments. I agree with everything Dana says and will add, moving here and especially to the country means you need to be somewhat tough. The weather, the unpredictability, the insects, and the harsh environment....you can't be a baby if you are going to live here, at least in the country. I speak of myself: I've had to become tougher. Do your research first!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Hello from Estonia! I Love Texas!

I’m from Jersey. As as Professional Land Surveyor, I worked closely with home developers. Have to admit that I was somewhat taken aback when I began looking for a home north of Dallas. My new house has a 20’ front setback, 7.5’ side yards, rear yard 45’ wide & 30’ deep! I’m used to a minimum 50’ front & rear yard, and minimum 50’ total side yard. Of course I know that larger lots are available in Texas. I’m in year two in Texas and am very satisfied with my new home - it works great for me; smaller yard = less work! I think I’m totally assimilated- a) Went out the other day, the temperature was mid 90°s, I thought, wow it’s very pleasant! b) Was in the Phoenix area recently, when asked “where are you from?”, my natural response, “Texas” - Keep Texas, Texas 🤠
Great video, congrats!!!
Thank you!
What is the feeling from texans about european, french, moving to their state ? Are they ok with that or a little bit hostile ?

agree 😃
As a Native Texan. I always thought other states had insects and snakes. Must be something to live in other states with no insects and snakes.😃
True statement, I thought so too!
Understand we have been here for three generations and the government has bought and sold all the land. Land has always been free, so to put us in this situation with having to conform to work ethic and rules to gain the freedom to be the human animal- we’ll just think about it loves.
Change your title to DFW
Good catch
I regularly enjoy watching your videos and think they are lovely. However, I have noticed that they may not be receiving the views they deserve. If you are open to it, I would like to offer some advice that could potentially help increase your thoughts. I am a Professional Digital Marketer and SEO Specialist.
What is the "California Culture" exactly that you don't want? Because homelessness is already everywhere. I see it WAY more in DFW than I did in Los Angeles and that says a lot. You have plenty of crime. That didn't come from California. I am more worried about shootings here than I ever was in Texas, And I've never seen drivers so bad. So what exactly are you fighting against? Giving women proper healthcare? Not making them carry dead babies to term. Please enlighten me.
