I had Omicron BA5 in September with long covid for 6 more weeks from HELL. The actual COVID was very strange, with most of the symptoms listed, but it doesn't cover how strange everything was, causing a terrible distortion of reality and senses. It would take too long to explain, but I believe the damage to the autonomic nervous system (causing panic, extreme anxiety, and loss of regulation of sleep so my body would not go to sleep) was worst. I am so afraid of getting Long Covid again! I was so grateful to be "normal" again after about 9 weeks.
Did you have the vaccine as well or no?
We had similar mental issues with Delta. Convinced me this thing was a created bioweapon..
@@jend5272 The weird symptoms had me wondering too.
Are you vaxxed?
I find Vagus nerve healing has helped me with my CNS dis-regulation including POTS, panic attacks, depression etc. that came after I had Omicron back in February 2022. I am unvaxxed....
Lower back pain and very fatigue, sneezing and roof of my mouth swollen.
Please explain why nausea and diarrhea have never been on the list yet every single person I’ve known with covid or seen online has experienced nausea and diarrhea commonly with covid over the years.
Yet it’s NEVER been on the lists.
Why is nausea and diarrhea even symptoms for an URI?
Nausea and diarrhea have been reported consistently as symptoms that can be from COVID but typically when large numbers of people are polled these symptoms occur in a smaller fraction than the symptoms described here!
Personally think it depends if you get cold-like covid or flu-like covid.
Although I had flu-like (delta) and never had nausea or diarrhea.
My Mother and I had Covid after Thanksgiving in PA. Our worst symptoms were diarrhea for me, and vomiting for my Mom. She almost ended up in the hospital. I know of friends who experienced the same .
My husband and I just got it beginning of January. It was worse than the symptoms listed. We were vaccinated but no boosters. We are still getting over it. Stomach was definitely involved and then when we finally were testing negative after 2 weeks it switched to very bad constipation which we are still dealing with.
I have omicron now (London). It feels exactly like a bad cold. A night of aches and pains, a runny nose, a cough which is not constant or severe. Physically a bit tired but can walk a mile slowly. No loss of appetite, no distortion of smell, no fever. It's a nuisance but doesn't feel in the slightest bit threatening.
That's how it started for me. My husband never got worse, but I had severe neurological issues for many weeks after the mild initial infection.
had a fever first 2 days
@@pkstiever I'm dealing with recurring migraines after I recovered. Sucks. I hope you're feeling better now 2 months later.
Thank you for the updates!
Absolutely our pleasure!
I had my 1st case last May: Fever for only the 1st 24-36 hrs, weird sinus pressure behind the nose, teeth pain, and fatigue. It only lasted a few days-5 tops. Now I am on day 3 of my 2nd infection. No symptoms beyond mild runny noses and a handful of sneezing. I wouldn’t have known I had Covid if I wouldn’t have tested. Following current cdc guidelines and isolating..
I’m wondering if I had Covid just after Christmas. It was odd, I just suddenly started sneezing continually for a week with a very runny nose, a slightly tickly throat and some slight sinus pain (which has continued despite no other symptoms). The sneezing etc stopped as suddenly as it started about 6 days later. I tested negative 3 times so maybe it was something else though what would cause just those symptoms and nothing else I don’t know?!
my gums are sore
Thank you so much for always keeping us informed!
Absolutely! Thank you!
I live in the US (PA) and have been participating in the Zoe tracking study since mid 2020. I am fully vaccinated. I had no cases of URIs from May 2020 until the end of 2022. The last few days of December, I had some nasal congestion and a mild sore throat. I tested myself and it came back negative. On New Years Eve, my nose was running nonstop, and my throat was more sore. I woke up after midnight and decided to retest, since I had a pile of expiring kits. I couldn’t believe it when I saw that I had tested positive. After another day or two, I was pretty much back to normal, although my throat was still a bit scratchy, like a tickle in my throat, and sometimes I’d start coughing when I tried to talk.
Thanks for sharing your story and we are glad you’ve made a full recovery!
It’s the vaccine imo

Zoe is awesome, they're bang up-to-date with their stats and in general do a better job than many (most?) (all?) government public health authorities.
They definitely have a highly useful approach!
Note that the Covid aspect of the app was done in conjunction with 2 major hospitals and a government funded research University, and with government funding until April 2022. The Tories couldn't get their fingers into it, it seems
My symptoms began on a Friday evening three weeks before Christmas, I had been invited to a Christmas reception but felt too tired to go, didn’t think to test for COVID. Same for Saturday night, a Christmas party invitation, felt too tired but went anyway. Had an appointment to view a property with my fiancé on Sunday, an estate property in the country so an hours’s drive, felt pretty good, and refreshed to see this beautiful property with Mountain Views. But then I got home and suddenly symptoms became like a flu. After a terrible night, terrible body aches, unable to breath, and the worst sore throat I’ve had in my life, I took a test the next morning and it was positive. I thought after 5 days it would pass. Phoned my brother, a doctor of internal medicine, who suggested that I give the temperature and congestion a few days to clear up before resorting to antibiotics (I very rarely take antibiotics). Fever left, congestion improved only slightly but didn’t show signs of infection. Recover finally took 5 full weeks. I’m 68 but in excellent health, like someone 20 years younger. My fiancé, 66, tested positive 2 days after me and is still Ill 6 weeks later and was hospitalized immediately because he is immune compromised. This was a monster. Be careful. We are both fully vaccinated and boosted with bivalent booster.
Guess the vaccine is not working, huh? 😐
Fully vaccinated but still able to catch COVID (again) and give it to other people. (hand clap)
@@shihtzusrule9115 Yeah & not die or end up in the hospital. Nobody EVER promised us we couldn't catch it after vax. Just that it protects us from the worst case scenario (being in a body bag in a refrigerator truck....remember those days???)
@@shihtzusrule9115 I've come to the conclusion that just like the virus, the severity and or the effectivity of the vaccination depends on the immunoresponse of the body. but yeah, you can't really tell unless there's a really massive data that supports this.
My hubs and I had Covid in Sept for 10 days-2 weeks. Myriad of symptoms…sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, fever, body aches, initially. More cold like symptoms days 5-10. Ironically, our dog got sick within a few days of us. She had swollen lymph nodes, which vet thought might have been left over infection from minor dental work 5 weeks earlier. She also had a temperature. Treated her with antibiotics/anti-inflammatories. She never really got better…2 weeks later she became neurological. Rushed to ER Vet, where she seized and passed. Necropsy was done…encephalitis (infection of the brain). Cause unknown. I’ll always wonder if it was Covid. She was 8 yrs old, otherwise healthy beforehand. RIP my sweet JoJo.🐶😢❤️
If SARS COV2 better replicate at very low tissue temperature (see ar TWIV 659 at min29)(?) may be antipiretic must be avoided?
Interesting. My dog got sick when I had Covid in September. She became paralyzed & also had seizures. My vet took a stab in the dark & treated her for bacterial meningitis with strong antibiotics & she got better. I thought it might be Covid right from the start. My vet said it's very rare, but it's probably also fairly rare for a dog to sleep in bed, face to face with a Covid infected owner
@@angeladansie4378 thank you for sharing. I asked my vet about transmission between owner and pet and she said there is very little evidence out there at the moment supporting this. So glad your vet did what they did. JoJo was on antibiotics, but they may not have been strong enough or we started too late. I was very frustrated that we didn’t know truly what was going on (diagnosis) until it was too late and she passed.
So sorry to hear about your dog. My condolences on your loss.
@@DawnDavidson thank you…I appreciate your kindness.
So, I tested positive Jan 2nd. I had it for about a week. Jan 7th I got a negative test. It’s was still pretty brutal though this was my third time. My bivalent shot was in mid Oct so it waned. I’m still dealing with a pretty stuffy nose but it comes and goes. I don’t know what variant it was. I didn’t have a fever, but I felt exhausted. I had heart pain which worried me. I developed a hoarse cough a few days in, but I could feel it stopping at my throat. It didn’t go into the lungs this time. I didn’t lose taste and smell. I had thick glue snot again but not in the lungs this time. I attribute that to being fully vaccinated. I also had a headache for a few days. It’s funny though. I had weird sneezing a week before I tested positive. It was very strange excessive sneezing. I was told it was just a cold, and because of that, my immune system dropped and I got Covid. But my theory is, that weird sneeziness was pre-Covid. I’ve heard constant sneezing is a very early warning symptom (only) for those who are vaccinated.
My husband is double Pfizer-vaxxed, had very bad Omicron back in February 2022, and he has never been completely well since then. Just before this Xmas, he got a very bad Covid virus again! Luckily he was at the country cottage when it hit, and I did not catch it from him ( unvaxxed ).. Exactly the same symptoms you write about! He is STILL sick with extreme fatigue, coughing, sinuses are stuffed up and the sneezing even now, almost a month after the first day of illness. Just last week we had to end a phone call because the sneezing attack would not stop....
@@tigerspiritjourney My hubby never got it though he slept right beside me. I thought for sure he’d get it because there was no isolating separately in our tiny home. He’s fully vaxed like me. I just watched a documentary about some genetic protein allele that may determine if ppl will get Covid or not. If you have this protein (born with it) then you won’t get Covid even if exposed. It was absolutely fascinating. The study has not been peer reviewed yet but it’s in the process. It would explain a lot of inconsistencies as to why some people get it and some don’t.
@@tigerspiritjourney I bought a spray bottle of Soverign colloidal silver. I spray and sniff it up as far as possible. The sneezes and even the sore throat gets better quickly.
@@sueyoung2115 Great idea! I have 35ppm Colloidal silver and never thought to use it that way!
@@tigerspiritjourney any update? how is your husband. did the extreme fatigue went away.... diana from physics girl in youtube with millions of subs has the same condition. she has long covid
I had 2 vaccines and a booster. I started feeling itchy throat and coughing on January 4. Left work and came home with a fever. Tested but it was negative. That was Wednesday, I continued to run a fever, stuffy nose, loss of appetite to the point I was drinking mostly all day, hot tea, water and coffee only. My husband heated me up a can of chicken noodle soup that I have eaten before and it tasted horrible, I ate it because he was worried about me not eating. Friday morning still had fever of 101.5 and he brought me coffee like I drink it, just milk and coffee, it was nasty. I asked him if it was new coffee or what he did different since it was not good. He said I didn't do anything different and his taste fine. Now I did have headaches with this too. Saturday I got an appointment to get tested at covid rest site after fever went to 102.5. I was positive, also had bad muscle aches and chills, add to that the loss it altered taste. I followed CDC guidelines and stayed home from first symptom except going to test site. I now have a dry cough, mucous so thick it is hard to get it to move but the worst is the lack of moisture in mouth and a burning throat. I drink twice the amount of water and peppermint tea so I normally do but the throat just gets so dry my voice cracks and my throat burns. I wake up at night with my mouth do dry I cannot swallow until I get water in my mouth. I have never had this problem in my life. I am praying this goes away soon. I do not know the type I had as far as the variant but I do know it affected smell and taste.
My daughter just had it too and she did not have fever as long, did not lose sense of taste or smell. Had more runny nose and cough that was productive and sore throat. She was not vaccinated. To date my husband remains symptom free.
I can tell you I had the same symptoms and many more with Omicron (tested positive 9/14/'22). I had to remove the large rugs from my house because the upholstery fumes were too much. Food tasted nasty too. I did get over most of those symptoms mainly after 6 weeks, but definitely it took its toll on my neurological system. I lost quite a bit of muscle mass, although I have all my strength back. Strange, because I am 10 lbs. thinner due to smaller muscles. I am still trying to add protein and find ways to build my muscle back since strength training isn't increasing the mass. I think COVID did something to the actual structure of my muscle fibers.
Still fighting with the audio? I'm sure others have made suggestions but my business partner is a podcast consultant, he does it for fun more than anything and I'm sure he'd be happy to recommend or advise at no cost, especially if I ask.
A report today in my email in-feed referenced "longer" long covid with newer variants
The most recent data update includes samples taken January 3 - 9, 2023. During this sampling period:
The total viral RNA load in wastewater entering the (minneapolis/st paul) Metro Plant decreased by 12% last week compared to a week earlier.
The contribution of BA.2 sub-lineages to the viral RNA load entering the Metro Plant increased to 32% last week, while that of BA.5 sub-lineages decreased to 70%.
BA.2.75 and XBB subvariants are both subsets of the BA.2 lineage:
BA.2.75 made up approximately 4% of the viral RNA entering the Metro Plant last week, down from 5% a week earlier.
XBB made up 27% of the viral RNA entering the Metro Plant last week, nearly doubling the previous week’s level of 15%.
BQ.1 subvariants are a subset of the BA.5 lineage. They made up approximately 56% of the viral RNA entering the Metro Plant last week, down from 62% a week earlier.
Summary: XBB sub-lineages are replacing BQ.1 sub-lineages in the Metro Plant service area, but the total level of virus decreased, week-over-week.
Thanks. This looks like a really good way to measure what’s happening. The best part is reporting the total viral load which allows calculating which variants are actually increasing in absolute terms (and thus allowing projecting into the future what really counts; not relative percentages but instead, actual rate of new infections plus percentage of population already infected for each sub-lineage.
If only CDC provided regional/local data on how much each lineage has infected the population percent wise plus how many are becoming infected percent wise plus data on what percent are reinfections by new lineages in people with natural immunity to other lineages, then accurate projections would be possible. But our CDC is not interested in natural immunity.
@@douginorlando6260 Yes , the only "honest" information available in the US. For instance this tracking measure showed a temporary 35% increase in infection caused with the large 10 day state fair last fall. In Britain there is tracking enabling a "educated" 1 infection for every 15 people here and 1 infection for every 20 people there peak in almost real time and with what variant. I look at those numbers and relate the peak there to the peak here. There is a long sustained ~ 20% average of the short lived Jan 2022 peak here in minnesota which is a lot of infection causing who knows how much death and damage.
Thanks. Is there a site which reports all the US waste water surveillance?

Now that I had my first case of Covid, do I still need to get the Bivalent Booster, and if so how soon?
I started feeling ill on New Years Eve morning. My chest felt like I had smoked 3 packs of strong cigarettes the night before (I used to smoke, so I remember but luckily have quit). The next day I had 103 fever, shortness of breath, felt lethargic, started sleeping a minimum of 14 hours a day, a bit of loss while walking but it is getting better. I felt like I had the flu with chest cold. Tested 3 days later and the test was positive within seconds and had bold lines. I also developed a rash on the inside of my elbows and the back of my hands a few weeks ago that lasted about a week or so.
I had it in August. It was really bad for about 10 days but I wasn't really better until about the end of 4 weeks. The killer sore throat, hoarseness and overall weirdness are what I remember most. It was different than any other upper respiratory infection I'd ever had. It was as if my body was telling me, "this was made in lab."
Your first cranial nerve is your olfactory nerve (sense of smell). It's usually skipped in a physical exam and they focus on Cranial nerves II through XII, but with COVID cranial nerve I becomes relevant. It's SARS-2 and it's just got around to doing what it couldn't do in 2003, be transmissible in human populations (Ask Gilead Sciences, they know, boy do they know. They know what remdesivir/VEKLURY doesn't work on.) Spanish flu started out as a horse and donkey flu in 1842. The Apache and US cavalry had to fight on foot. A large portion of Boston burned in a fire. Then, somehow it made the jump close proximity or another intermediate host. There's no magic, it's just a virus migrating into an agreeable population of hosts to infect and reinfect and reinfect and.. well, you get the idea. It's just exploiting our ignorance. Do you have an idea as to how many people you infected while you were sick?
Or "this is something brand new that you've never seen"
Agree with you 100%. This been really different for me too. It’s like this weird Frankenstein put together virus. Terrible sore throat, bloody nose, headache into my ears and a strange type of cough I’ve never had before and don’t know how to explain. Yesterday when I woke up I was partially blind in my left eye for a short time. Nothing feels normal about this.
I get what you are saying. Not like any virus I have ever come close to having with all the horrific weirdness I went through. I haven't been the same since 9/14/22.
Did your throat ever feel fuzzy? That's how my throat felt as if there was a fuzzy ball stuck there- very unusual feeling that I never felt before. Oddly does feel manufactured
Thanks for your videos...I think I prefer the old audio better. In this video the voice quality is poorer than previous videos.
Agreed!
Thanks for the feedback! We agree. We are almost to the point where we are going to throw the towel in and go back to the old audio setup. It’s funny because the new setup is suppose to be much more advanced than the old setup, but the quality does not seem so!
Wow, dead on. I have the newest variant now. Just flew and people were hacking on the flight and sneezing like no ones business. Scratchy throat, then sore throat, body aches and chills, dry cough, then runny nose and sneezing last. That's the way it went for me. I'm not tired, went wandering in my hills all day just fine. This is my second time with covid, never vaccinated.
I didn't think I had covid until the second night the sore throat was familiar, like razor sliced my throat and stung by the air I breathed in. Took a covid test and it was positive. In general this is so much more mild than omicron I had last New Year 2022 that knocked me down really hard and made my hair fall out.
I think some unvac people do better than us vaccinated.

I did home COVID test 1/4/2023 negative. Next day repeated tests reported as invalid. On 1/6/2023 used another type of test I had and tested positive. The biggest problem with this method of tracking symptoms is you have to look at what type of person is using Zoe. How old are they, socioeconomic group, etc. My husband and I are 56 and 66, we got covid the beginning of January. It was really bad, including fever, chills, cough, congestion that you couldn't get rid of, stomach issues, vertigo with nausea and POTS. We did at home tests. Who was tracking our symptoms? No one. We are just now, 4 weeks later starting to feel a bit better. I don't feel that any of these reports of symptoms are at all accurate.
That is an excellent point also in general when interpreting any medical studies or data! The sample population is critical in deciding how the results can be applied to others. We are glad you both are feeling better now and thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Most symptoms are common in colds, the most notable difference being loss of taste and smell.
Definitely a huge amount of overlap with any number of respiratory viruses!

Have there been any studies done about those of us who get/avoid covid who still have our tonsils and adenoids? I have both, have been directly exposed several times, am fully vaccinated; but have never had covid.
My first "symptom" was ending up in the emergency room not able to pee believe it or not. At the time I also had an irritating tickle in my throat that was very annoying. Was never tested at hospital for COVID.They found blood in my urine and protein. Sent me home with antibiotics. The very next day all help broke loose. Mostly the top ten symptoms cited. I am a month out and recovered from the top symptoms except I can't stop urinating like very 30 minutes plus some brain fog. It's awful. I wonder if this variant damaged my kidneys. I'm not sure it's all upper body as my case proves. Unfortunately I got my third booster a year ago and never got the fourth. I wonder how much vaccine protection I had when I caught it,

I currently have Covid, day 4. Day 2 from positive test result. I had Delta in 2021, and it was way more intense than this variant. 1) my test results on day 2 was very fast and a dark line for my positive result with this variant, Delta was faint even on day 4. 2) they both started with feeling tired and just off, next day felt like sinus infection. 3) This variant made me have stomach bug symptoms day 2 4) Delta felt like the worst flu of my life 5) this variant felt like a bad cold. Still had a fever but not as intense. I am fully vaccinated and recieved my last booster 3 weeks ago. It's day 4 and I'm just tired, , altered sense of smell, headaches, and coughing. @@dawnfoster2873 I feel you. I definitely think the vaccines kept me out of the hospital. I have Pulmonary Hypertension caused by 3 valves in my heart deteriorating. It causes me to have asthma attacks. Just diagnosed in 2017. Glad we both made it through to the other side.

October / 22
Symptoms change all the time, others had massive headaches but with minimal sore throats.
I have this one now. It's my 5th day and it was like having a bad cold with stuffy head and nose. Muscle aches and I only had a fever for one night. I did take hydroxichloroquin and it reduced the symptoms and duration.
The latest CDC report show that XBB/XBB.1.5 accounts for 46.9% and BQ.1/BQ.1.1 44.7% of the new cases in the US, a large increase from last week. Again the rise in new cases is in the Northeast and falls are in the Midwest.
Thanks for sharing Christopher!
terrible headaches which went away thankfully, sore throat, chest pain and feeling like I have COPD ( which I don't have) and the typical cold symptoms.
Thanks for sharing! We hope you’ve managed a full recovery!
When I had Covid during Alpha I didn’t have any of the classic symptoms
Thanks, buddy. You are my go-to guy for all things C-19 for almost 2.5-3 years now.
I'm working too 🚓. TY For caring for those in need at the hospital.

Appreciate your videos and clear concise information to keep all of us educated through this crazy time. I haven't ever tested positive (100's of tests in the 1st year+). if I had it I didn't know it. Hyper-vigilant safety protocols which ebb and flow in intensity as needed to keep my 92 y/o Poppa safe. Still use a lot of them, but we know so much more now through education. Mandatory vax (3) for me and Pops got 3 shots as well. No more, in my opinion. Still doing vitamins but not as diligent as I was when we knew nothing. Just staying as strong in areas of general health, rest, and immune support as I can. Living a grateful life, praying for those who have suffered from this virus and like me lost their loved ones during this pandemic.
Keep up the good work. Usually, watch your videos at night and can't comment via TV. Thought I'd send u a shout-out.

Add shortness of breath and low blood oxygen, dizziness and extreme muscle fatigue when walking
That is not common with Omicron's latest variant
I was diagnosed with COVID 19 a few days ago. It turns out I'm positive but, I need to know which COVID 19 variant I have.
Please, help me identify the variants spread in Nigeria.
I just have covid now. Had fever on day 1 and sore throat for 2 days, sneezing probably less than without any infection. Upper resp. are the least of my worries. Now it's fatigue, lightheadedness, heaviness in the stomach. The worst is muscle pains - really scary shooting burning pains in my upper back, down the arms. I cannot lift my arms without waves of these coming on. And a very sore spot under left arm - maybe a lymph node? Kinda worried it may mean something bad with my heart, but no doctor will see me while I test positive.
Wow it’s January and people have cold symptoms, what’s happening???😮😮😮
Respiratory viruses galore!
Geez if one didn’t know better, we’d think these symptoms are congruent with a standard run-of-the-mill seasonal influenza.
It’s been ☝️ year since my best friend called me & said: “ You gotta get CoViD tested”. We were at a wedding together & she tested +. I didn’t. Within 3 days, like WBD she was out for the count. She had far more intense symptoms for 2+ weeks, including Anosmia, Backache, severe fatigue (she’s never fatigued) & of course UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT symptoms. No Pulmonary symptoms thank God.
So 1 whole year anniversary of BA1 Omicron & now we’re up to XBB? Happy New CoV Year folks!🎉
I just tested positive. Primary symptoms are headaches and fatigue.
Get well soon
I'm sure you understand when we give a thumb up we are applauding your report, not saying we are glad it happened.
Understood.
@@claudinepotvin-giordano1154 hi 👋 are they treating your symptoms with anything? Did your doctor give you anything? I'm waiting for my results.. my throat is on fire , body aches horrible and have horrible headache..those are the primary symptoms I have
This is hard though because I have year round allergies and pretty much all of those symptoms. I also have fibro and arthritis so the aches and pains too. If I didn't have those things daily I would be really praising the Lord for a great day.
I have a neighbor with lung cancer, so if anything gets worse for me, I take a test to make sure I do not take anything to her. I would never forgive myself if I felt I caused her to die sooner.
There’s a British Doctor on you tube named John Campbell who pronounces “zoe” the same way you are pronouncing it
Thanks for letting us know!!
He's a quack and he's not a doctor, he's a retired nurse teacher
Sore throat definitely was the first indication. It’s my second time having covid now and I wanted to know what new symptoms as I got a runny/ blocked nose, cough dry and phlegm. I’m talking like an old man. I feel like there’s water in my lungs but maybe because I’m over all the coughing
VERY interesting and helpful Video.
Had COVID-19 1st in January 2022 then again with a variant in October 2023. I had just had major surgery, so I assume my immunity was low. Had backache, drippy nose, sore throat, wheezing, dry cough, nausea, fever, diarrhea, and complete loss of taste & smell. In a week I lost 10 pounds. Because of surgery I was limited on meds I could take, but a doctor steered me well. I used OTC Coricidin, Vitamins D3, C, and Zinc. Gargled with apple cider vinegar & salt. Much water and rest- even though my sleep has been disrupted by the illness. Hot liquids like beef broth, chicken soup, and teas of various kinds including ginger, hibiscus, and moringa green. After 10 days I am well on the way to gatting better. I was never vaccinated for COVID-19.
I’m in the US (MA). My symptoms are a runny nose, sneezing, and fatigue. It started on 1/1/2023. A family member had suggested I take a Covid test which was “positive.” I’m 73 years old no have been testing positive every other day since. Today is day 24, how long does it last? I’ve had to cancel various appointments due to the test results.
I was positive for six weeks
go to the doc
Mine started out with sneezing and fatigue. Basically the common cold. When my fever never broke after a couple days is when I kind of got clued in that I should get tested. Thank God and my savior Jesus that I never got shortness of breath, but I learned from having it the first time and I made an effort not to lay around and stay active as much as I could. Something as simple as walking around your house and sitting straight up in bed can help you. Don't give it a chance to get in your lungs! That's what gets you.
The mind can be controlled by words of fear!
I just got it early Feb. I felt tired and nothing sounded good to eat. The next day I had a cold and very mild body aches. I had a worse cold in Jan….thought it was coming back.
My results were very quick..dark lines…until about day 7
not vaccinated had omicron varient it lasted 1 week. felt like the flu. My immune system is intact.
Finally, there is no different treatments mostly for all the variants and coronaviruses. Treat the symptoms. Expect 3-5 days in most cases, out to 7-10. Treat the coryza.
So it’s like having “the crud.”
Has anyone suffered from hives because of Omicron?
Yes on day 9 after diagnosis just about when I started feeling human
Took benedryl.hives lasted a few days
@@patriciakline4967 Mine haven't stopped and it has been months. Crazy times we live in. Glad you are better.
wow i experienced that. it was so painful! this is a crazy virus with varying degrees of symptoms from person to person.
I had Covid 1st time end of October. I’m 4x vaxxed. It was probably B.A.5 ( in NYC)I had fever between 100-102.2 for 6 days, but no fever symptoms like aches, shivering etc. it was very odd. My other symptoms were so mild that if I didn’t have Covid, I wouldn’t have mentioned them. I felt kinda sick/off the 1st day of symptoms which was a bad stomach. This is what had me take my temp. After that I ate well, didn’t need to sleep. Had energy. Once I started to do things out of my apt., I was exhausted easily. That lasted about a week or so. I also had a bit of depression/ feeling weepy for abt a month. after.
I recognize that depression/tearful feeling. My emotions were very irrational. That's how I knew my grandkids had it-they were crying for no reason although we were out having fun, and are never like that. I drank after them so of course when I got it, I tested positive super fast. They recovered quickly and never tested positive, but I knew they were sick. I'm grateful kids don't get it nearly as bad as adults.
thumbnail summation or elevator pitch to your grandma AT THE START paleez!
What’s odd is every single person i know who has had Covid lately has lost all sense of smell and taste. It seems very common again. I contribute daily to Zoe and have since 2020 but seems odd the symptom tracker isn’t picking up on this (yet!)
I can confirm that from friends I know.
I finally got COVID, thought I had the flu until I lost my sense of taste and smell!
I got COVID in September 2022 and food tasted awful. Smells were amplified and distorted. I had to get rid of rugs and I couldn't stand to be in some of my rooms because the upholstery would have a strong chemical smell. (Since I have recovered, all has gone away.) It was such a struggle to force myself to eat healthy foods. If I ate bad foods, I would feel much worse and my nervous system would really screw up leaving me with worse panic attacks and many other symptoms.
@@pkstiever sounds awful! Glad to hear you fully recovered.
@@bene7464 hope you feel much better now
I tested positive Jan.20th. I had a sore throat, cough stuffy nose and very sore ankles, then I had a fever and very weak. I got tested and the doctor told me that covid caused my ankles to swell and be sore. I had a hard time swallowing cuz of the sore throat and junk I had in my chest was thick and hard to get out, when I could spit it out then it was very thick and yellow. I felt bad for 2 weeks

This sounds like my colds pre Covid
Caught COVID for the first time in March 2023. Dry cough, nausea and vomiting were my symptoms the first 3 days, then a low grade fever with a sore throat. It felt like I swallowed broken glass. Lasted about 6 days. Tested negative by day 10.

I can not believe because the docs at my hospital tell me there is not only no testing for varients but the actual test does not exist.

👏👏👏👏👏
Had original omicron as a first covid Infection last year e d of February. Got sotrvimab....which gave me a strange taste/smell in my perspiration....think I might have again...lots of muscle and joint pain and same smell as after sotrvimab....better after a couple doses of ivm. No upper respiratory symptoms at all.
IVM really works. Been using it off and on for long covid for years now... Got Covid again recently, took IVM again (Higher dose as per the FLCCC recommendation) kicked the virus in 5 days. Mild symptoms and no lingering long covid (from that infection).
I’m getting over new variant and it was like a bad sinus infection… I made a video on my page n day 4/5
Same. It's like day 14 of a bad sinus infection. Hoarse throat (slightly). Really sleepy all the time. It started with a really sore throat that lasted 4 days.
I had Covid in December 2022 It started as a slight cough ,then fever 102 hit like a surprise for two days I was not too tired no body aches It felt like a cold with a fever. I had one strange thing happen I was so so hungry! The whole time ! Now weeks later I have an annoying cough in the morning and evening which might be something else I think
Thanks for sharing and we are glad you’re feeling a lot better! Interesting on the hunger aspect! If interested, we linked a playlist with a bunch of videos on my experience having COVID below

I have Covid right now. I had it back in June. I've noticed I'm really hungry as well! Even after eating I still feel hungry. Weird.
@@tubegirljwd did you get really hungry when you had Covid in June? I wonder if we had the same version.
@@chrisvanmason5760 I did not. I didn't have much of an appetite then. I mostly did liquids, tea, Gatorade, broth. I had much more breathing issues then and eating was a chore lol. This time symptoms were different. In June I lost my taste and smell for a while. Was much more exhausted.
@@tubegirljwd I caught it traveling to a cruise. I stayed in the cabin and ate wonderful plates of food in the sunshine on our porch with a 102 fever lol. My husband never caught it from me
I didn’t avoid covid, thanks to XBB.1.5!

It actually starts at 2:16 😒
So...basically the exact same symptoms of a Sinus Infection (Sinusitis).
Very similar/interchangeable with any number of viral upper respiratory infections!

It's Zo eee
My mother, of German parentage, was named Zoe and pronounced it with just a long O, no "e". Until a few years ago I thought that was the only pronunciation.
No it isn't
No, the absolute TOP symptom is massive panic and paranoia among the fully-vaccinated. Our office supervisor kept on e-mailing EVERYBODY if one person is out with COVID. She kept on telling us to mask up for one week until we get a negative PCR result back 3-5 days after the initial exposure. So much for "safe and effective."
I am unvaccinated and have to be medicated how much my covid infection has caused panic in my body!

HANG ON, I am in the middle of SW UK! 25 yrs farm girl 70 from Idaho. Very perturbed abt the Tim Spector- ZOE app I down loaded but was only for the vaxxed as far as I could tell. But I followed for the map reports of numbers and excellent graphs. then the Gov support stopped the funding when things calmed down. the UK has not collected data from rapid test reports or passed out free tests for months and months! Testing of variants discontinued I assume not worth bothering costly. As of April 5 2022, I was one of 1 in 13 in the country that had it simultaneously. My NHS medical clinic said they did not and could not know which variant was dominate at the time! Same for any medical source our drug stores no one knew or seemed to care. I asked the best sources ended up assuming BA.2 sp? Had it hard and thrilled to get it and over, not Vaxxed.
ZOE indeed attracted unbelievable adherents new to even mob/cell pH use. Our demographic is much older than States Boomer gen. They jumped on group think and are still marveling at new to them gut biome advice being promulgated lately by ZOE.
Obedenient scared to death pensioners (retires) on the property line, knew our near collapsed medical system could not care for Few let alone the cradle to grave free services. In one all rushed to get as we say here 'jabbed'. 'Nanny state' we were quickly the best protected country for the elderly and they still are lineing up over and over for boosters of the useless bivalent MNRA, in total faith.
the country has been had!!! By a Boston based company, right place right time who offered a service Gov supported for a time......I am annoyed Clever Capitalism collected an enormous mailing list now SUCCESSFULLY selling into the UK some of the first nutrition knowledge many have ever considered!! Brilliant if your a stock holder!! I just am ashamed or jealous?
Tim Spector talked to us daily for months he IS the trusted Good Guy Voice and NO one but this skeptic dug into what was going on!!
Bty The UK both loves and resents the states then copies them faithfully in all fads.
I hope to end up back in Idaho and doubt health care manages there either. But do not take UK data as though it is accurate NO one knows unless they are sampling sewage in major areas. One can not find out anything. NHS low paid medical system relies on emigrant drs and agency nurses. half staffed at best, open positions for 10s of thousands.... NO one will still go into the profession the government keeps demanding performance outcome counting by under staffed employees. The sympathic public will do anything to protect the hospitals not the best health care choice!!
Totaliser socialised need is the only game and Anerican private companies moving in fast for those tiny % able to "go private". Folks die waiting for everything and do it politely 'nanny state' sadly had an extra BAD lesson. No matter how compliant and obedient.
SORRY to rant I just did not like the innocent being duped by a scam imo.
