I’m loving this winning streak Collins is having! At her best she can beat anyone and it would be great to see her win back to back tournaments! She is beating these Top 30 players with ease.
She should announce her retirement every year. Who knew... that's the magic word!
Collins' footwork & racket preparation is much improved. She is aggressive & playing with confidence. Her game has really come together.

what impresses me the most is her movement, her application on every shot, *depth, *accuracy, her court awareness …. also Danielle is literally jumping onto the ball so much now - taking so much time away from her opponent.
Incorrect. Her game is remarkably similar to the way she has always played. She has a bit more confidence and she's just making more shots. Collins was once ranked #7 in the world. It's absurd that her "racket preparation" is much improved.

i was at the match today and collins is really playing her best game ever. wouldn’t be surprised if she took the title.
Australian open 2022 she beat Swiatek in the semis straight sets, and Swiatek didn't play bad. I think it was Collins' best performance but we tend to forget past success. Having said that she's having a fantastic spell, probably being mentally at 100 % and not too bothered by her chronic diseases right now I suppose.
Would be nice for her to perform well at Wimbledon ,who knows?
Anything can happen with such confidence, after all Vondrousova won last year....

I didn't want her to win Miami cos I was rooting for Elena but would be cool if she won the title here. She won two in a row before. When she is on she is on. Incredible stuff from her to come from winning the biggest tournament of her life to backing up the very next week. Rarely happens
