    I can't believe you received death threats for that short. People are ridiculous.

      #1 reason I’m so much happier and content….. I have kept 95% of people from knowing about me. It’s a game changer.

    Arnold was astute to point out that the women were trying too hard to be masculine and that it was a bad trait for them.
    Today, this is more and more prevalent and people like Andrew Tate point it out.
    In my experience as a software engineer, just about every career woman that I have worked with, especially managers, are very nasty women to be around and I almost completely avoid them. If any of them told me that my muscular body wasn't attractive, I wouldn't even bother to shrug.

      It's interesting because his two major American girl friends (Barbara Outland And Maria Shriver) were pretty feminist driven and very career oriented. He liked the smart, driven women as partners, but the clueless hotties as his side dishes

    Imagine living one year as a prime Arnold.

      Or living a whole year on Primobolan, both would be fantastic especially the pharm grade version he was getting from the German pharmaceutical company by the case. He personally knew a guy who worked for Schering in Germany. 😊

    I have to admit the authentic Arnold appeals to the adolescent boy in me. The scenes in Pumping Iron where he is draped by beautiful women for a photo shoot and being playful are some of the best scenes in pumping iron and engage you early on.

    • @carvedouttastone
      @carvedouttastone  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, and he was so natural and authentic about it. Nothing in his words or actions seemed premeditated or rehearsed as they do now.

    Damm, that's hilarious dude . "Abnormally career oriented" I think Jordan Peterson speaks on this .

      I like Jordan but fk the guy is abysmal in his interviews, turning every guest into a therapy patient. The Chris Bumstead and Derek More Plates interviews were F'kn unlistenable

    Arnold grew up in Austria in a time before political correctness. After coming to America, he fit in with other pro bodybuilders and the gym life quickly, but meshing with life outside of bodybuilding took more time. It took time to develop the savvy to make career building decisions to develop his image. Like all of us, he needed to learn things, and he had to adapt to a different culture and mature.

    It seems like Arnold was based at this time, but actually these were more common attitudes at the time and the start of the PC roll out. Either way he quickly fell into line.

    His candor, insight, and observations were way ahead of the times. Cut to the Red Pill movement today. Real men, alpha males who have made real accomplishments in their lives don't want a boss babe. They don't want a hard-nosed, workaholic overachiever in their woman. They want soft. Feminine. Beautiful, kind, caring, and gentle. This is not misogyny. It's celebrating the differences between men and women. Thanks for sharing this. Much needed in today's kick a man down beta boy soyciety.

      I think a lot of men in Arnold's day, and particularly Europeans were cut from the same cloth. It's when the extremes of feminist imperatives permeated the culture that things went off the rails

    Does lifting weights very fast cout as cardio

    • @carvedouttastone
      @carvedouttastone  7 месяцев назад

      Depends on the rest periods I guess but the old timers used the fast past, long duration, high rep high volume training to mitigate cardio since they didn't have treadmills or stationary bikes in the gym. Some used jogging or bike riding, but twice a day sessions more than made up for it

    I am a self cofessed hero seeker. As the year pass you find out that most heros have flaws.
    Sporting heros Mentzer and Bruce Lee had very serious recreational drug habbits but they can still be sources of knowledge and inspiration.
    Thanks for posting

      I love that our heroes have flaws and idiosyncracies. Even the greatest characters from mythology and biblical times display their faults. There would be no relatability or empathy if they didn't. Thanks for watching and raising an interesting discussion point

      Arnold's "flaws" are seen now that he's a shill for the left. Before that, he was a funny and straight-shooting guy. Sure, with flaws, but at least he wasn't plastic - and he would have never said, "Screw your freedom." Lost me there forever. That's not a flaw - that's a hopeless defect.

    • @terrystrand

      NOPE... Mentzer was NOT a source of bodybuilding info because he admitted after his final O in an interview that he'd been on a TON of bodybuilding drugs for YEARS, so anything he recommended in training you couldn't emulate as a natty, bro. He threw away his life via speed and died with his brother Ray. Just another chemical clown in the steroid circus.

      Hell know...even if he could run 5 miles in 30 mins ...why would you think he could run another 5 miles in 30 mins...he would be exhausted...actually i dought he ran 5 miles in 30 anyway..more like 40 mins seems possible...i remember when i was in my prime at 6 ft 240 lbs i would run 3 miles in 30 mins which was at a very fast pace...
