    I’m a Sax player & audio engineer of 40 plus yrs. Needed to go compact & im a stickler for sound quality, ease of use & having fun. Love this mixer. It’s loaded with a lot of features. I sometimes use a stereo backing tracks with my tenor sax. The input gain monitor & compressor keep all my tracks even & the sound is as good as it gets. It’s got a lot of choices & they all seem to sound great.

    Cool video very helpful! How can I save a scene to a thumb drive, upgrade my mixer to the latest version and re inert the scene? Thanks in advance for your help!

    I'd love to hear this in a live setting, and using it to record Multitrack - either to an SD card or (if possible) via USB. I hope to see something like that covered soon. Thanks!

    Isn't it also true that you can begin with a quick channel, and then convert it in order to observe what was happening under the hood?

      Yes

      You can’t convert it back though, you’ll have to start over

      Yes you absolutely can convert it to view what is going on, I actually just recently figured that out. You also can convert it back to a quick channel! I was bouncing back and forth today and rehearsal to view some PEQ ideas!

    On your next video can you please show how you combine two inputs. Example: if you want to run stereo (L&R) out from a synthesizer in to the CQ18. So L from the synthesizer goes in to input 1 on the CQ18 and R goes in to input 2. How do you combine them to create a stereo channel instead of 2 seperate mono channels?

    • @stevenwendt9944
      @stevenwendt9944  9 месяцев назад +2

      Absolutely, you can certainly link two mono channels and make them stereo (L&R) I do not have a synth on hand as it is at our practice room but I can run a ping pong delay or something on the helix and show the bouncing. I’ll try and think of some other ways to make the stereo pop but I will certainly add this in the next video! Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for watching!

    Thinking about buying one of these....my drummer plays roland electronic drums into a roland amp, then i run out of his D.I. from the amp imto my board....what setting would i use for that you think?

    • @stevenwendt9944
      @stevenwendt9944  8 месяцев назад +1

      My drummer uses an acoustic drum set so it’s usually just the various mic spots, but there is an overarching spot labeled “drums” and it is two monos linked as a stereo setup. You could also knock it to just one single mono channel. It would really come down to if you guys would like him to be in stereo or mono out. Hopefully this is what you meant? If not let me know and I’ll try to re word it! Thanks for watching

    For an audio engineering video this had terribly low volume, I had my computer speakers turned up to max & was still barely able to hear this.
