Sorry to see that one of the masterpiece corners of the world is ruined by disco lights etc. We used to go to this place some 20 years ago. There was ahut only, where they used to serve basic food and all drinks. Electricity was available only for some hours, so that the food wouldn’t go worse. It was so beautiful, beyond words. Look at it now, one of the ordinary crazy places 😢 Money, money, money 😢

a great vid as usual. will be back late July [26 years on the bounce] i stay in Ovacik, the Leytur Hotel. Oludeniz i a great tourist place, difficult to drive down there in the summer because of the traffic hold ups. i tend to get a taxi as they no all the short cuts. the Turkish people are always pleasant and helpful. hope to meet you when i arrive if that's possible. 😃

I was there today..really busy..it was a transfer day when I did the video so it was dead....but all busy now...that saying..please ask prices before you purchase.
My wife & I Hopefully back in ovacik in September on a late deal we watch your videos all the time love kas & kalkan as well & always go up on bus from fethiye seems lots of holidays available to Turkey maybe due to the Internet spreading worries of rising prices but probably will be more expensive in zante where we are soon
So sad to see all the shops on the main street I went between 2000 and 2019 and it was mostly bars and restraunts so many now gone, still looks a lovely place but not what it was 😊

@scotth8346 you will love this location. Oludeniz Hisaronu and Fethiye are all within half an hour. So you must definitely see them all. Bus takes you to them all

Just saw the price of a hangover breakfast at 725tl what a shock that's £18.00 then another at 400tl that's £10.00 that's more than a breakfast in the UK also no prices shown at all for drinks. Be warned very expensive.
Where are you getting 725tl for a brekky from 😂😂😂it’s 270 lira for an English breakky that’s £6.57 stop listening to the internet and go see for your self
look at the video at sultan hamel when talking about the tea bags you will see the price further down from there you will see the price 400tl for a small breakfast hope this helps 😊

Stay in oludeniz for the beach and nightlife. Fethiye is stunning but more chilled....if you stay in Fethiye you could use the beach clubs but expensive...I'd say stay oludeniz and spend a few days looking around Fethiye. ...its all beautiful.

@relaxingwhitenoises757 omg 3 years you will never cover everything lol...go to Oludeniz for the beach, Hisaronu for the Nightlife, fethiye for the beautiful Town and Calis for the sunset. All around this area are beaches plus so many excursions to be done....walking, horseriding, scuba diving, paragliding, boat tours, jeep safaris and surrounded by many ancient towns and ruins. You will have loads to do. Enjoy!

what is 75 turkish lira in gbp? when i check it online it gives me a ridiculous number £1.64 - is that right? edit - though 725lira/£15 for a full english breakfast is very costly even in the UK.
What are the prices like here, just came back from Lara Beach and they are charging 845 TL for a pint of effes. My friend and wife got a ribeye steak she got tacos and came to €90.
Patrick..bring £ and change in the change shops. Not hotels...they give less. Then pay everything in Tl...its the cheapest way to do it. Gey the best TL rate and spend it

I went there in 1992 and it was lovely not commercial just a small holiday resort looking at it now it's to commercial not quaint genuine Turkish village by the seaz horrible now won't be going again
Yes it's a holiday destination now. 1992 it was empty. Its geared up for tourism now...I also preferred it when nothing was there , but times have moved on. Its one of the top holiday destinations in Türkiye.
Ha, yes me and a mate went mid 90s to Oludeniz, £150 for a week. Nowhere to hang my clothes in my hotel room it was so small and a minaret outside my room calling to prayer 3 times a day. It was however very friendly and so clean. Amazing beach and fantastic ladies doing pedicures. Genie is out the bottle and looks a bit tacky now. Need more luxury in my later years 😊
There is no real beauty to oludeniz, nothing is authentic Turkish everything is modern and man made except the beach, the prices are gut wrenching in the best places, sure cheaper away from the front or the strip but would you enjoy a pint in the chicken take away for £2.40?, I won't be returning apart from the great boat trip we could have been anywhere where there's a beach and sunshine
I cannot disagree with you Steve. It's over commercialisation is actually its downfall. Loads of people just love that but I saw it in late 90s and traditional...its all commercialised tourism now. There's a place for that and 1000s loving ❤️ it.....but around the area are other places. Gemiler is better and kidrak

Oludeniz is not cheap as its pure tourism. If you go up to Hisaronu you will find so many at cheaper prices everywhere .
