Cecilia is a phenomenal gift! Thank you for the post. I had wonder where and what Cecilia had been up to these vocal days. I could not stop watching the work of her diaphragm. So many vocalist could watch what to learn from her. I had shared a beginning of opera to a friend (in mid-west U.S.A.), and as she came across to hear Bartoli, she was stunned and could not grasp Cecilia's vocal sound and skill saying, "How does she do this...?" She caught the bug for opera, Celia Bartoli! Grazie, Diva Cecilia Bartoli! Brava!
Bartoli is incredible! I hate to write ""still" but she still sings brilliantly and her voice is still beautiful and colorful. it is mind blowing! She is beyond. I was there and she was incredibly beautiful and sounded incredibly beautiful! I'm so happy for the video! Thank you for this. If you have the gelido in ogni vena pls upload also...! Her orchestra is fantastic. And I liked Mathmann also. The masters voice as a theatre i think was bad. It was't well written. Or let's say it wasn't written at all. Malkovich is a fantastic actor but when there is nothing to act... The whole thing worked because Bartoli took everybody on her shoulder and sang through it. She was incredible. I'm thankful for her.
I have uploaded everything I have. I usually record 1-2 arias because while I'm recording I can't relax and enjoy the performance in its whole. Regarding Their Master's Voice, I came primarily because of Bartoli. I didn't quite understand everything because of my limited knowledge of English, although Malkovich spoke very articulately. I was just waiting for the speech to end and the music to start. Maybe also because I never go to the theater for dramas, but only for operas.🙂

No one can be compared with her! Even in Cesare against those superb cast she was a real Queen! Her feeling of music is unique!
