Rome can’t sing like at all he’s really bad and if your gonna compare Jakob to Brad at least compare him to Brad playing live which sounded worse than Jakob on his worse day especially because Brad would always change lyrics or would change the melody or mess up guitar parts
@@VinnyMacias-vu4sh Bud and Eric were shopping for talent. They thought it would pay off and they would have been able to make money off of Rome, and they did so for 15 years! Bradleys Estate stated that he didn’t want anyone else to be the frontman but him, but Bud and Eric walked the fine line and couldn’t go without making the profit. Eric enforced the idea to change there name in 2009 due to the case. Rome is extremely talented and deserves more uplifting, he got dealt a losing hand with Sublime in the end. I don’t see anything unique in Jakobs vocal harmonies, he is trying to hard to mock his father’s style, we know that he wants to live up to the expectations, and cant naturally he’s gotta force it. I think Rome is a better performer, he actually has got his own unique style.
@Robert-eq5pl I’ll give you that Eric did pick Rome for 15 years but there wasn’t really much of choice it’s not like Jakob was available at the time but bud was only in swr for two years and then after that regretted his decision saying “I’ll jam with Eric Wilson again but I’ll never play with swr” meaning he didn’t wanna jam with rome and I don’t blame him because aside from me not liking romes vocals personally the dude is a scammer literally trying to fool ppl into thinking the original sublime was playing with him on the last tour even deleting posts on his social media where he mentions Eric wouldn’t be there
