@@Bobreal11he tripods from the 2005 movie are definitely not based of the Striders of HL2. “Tripods” tri meaning 3, they just both happen to have 3 legs, and the first War Of The Worlds was back in the 1800’s, and they still had 3 legs back then, so it’s just the design? The Striders do not show any comparable features other than the 3 legs.
