I feel extremely blessed to have a nice community and have earned some pretty decent money from twitch. Its not like I could quit my job or anything, but I've been able to put that money back into the stream by buying a monitor, a light etc etc which in turn makes for a better stream. Next step, backlight. Your example of why I need one was perfect and simple.

I love this, I just started working on twitch and have kinda had some low spots and hopefully watching your videos can help grow on twitch as well as a content creator and as a person. I stream on twitch but I do it coz I love it. I don't take it to serious and I have a good job so it's not about money coz I earn good money on my other job so I just enjoy it. If I earn money on twitch so be it but I just love doing it
I've got my thing, like you said yours was a bit of everything but predominantly warzone, I chose horror games, I'm a big scared gothic girl, goths don't tend to he scared of horrors, nope I'm the opposite 😂 I will work on the other 4 😊

i loved your video dan! i took it to heart very deeply cuz it spoke to me and its something i care about a lot. i know that in 1 part of your video, u said "not" to always make it about making money from streaming and to focus on other things first. but when ur a struggling adult like me who cant even find a part time job that pays a living wage out here in the states, its hard for me to "not" make money the number 1 issue to worry about. 70%-90 or 95% of the time, im not having any fun cuz of me always getting massively triggered or just upset in general from always dying constantly in shooters or even in the dodgeball game knockout city. i told my one really good friend how much i hate multiplayer games and he suggested to me that i play single player games from now on so that i dont rage as much. and i was like, no. i dont wanna play single player games cuz i find most single player games boring and even if i did play a single player game with or without multiple difficulties, i would still rage at dying regardless. he then said, then u need to find a game that was an easy mode so that u dont die as much and start from there. and i was like, i dont really wanna do that cuz then it requires u to give commentary half the time when playing single player games and i feel like i would be bad at giving commentary overall. so then he said, maybe playing video games isnt your thing then and maybe u shouldnt livestream anymore since ur not having any fun for the most part. and yes, i do agree with that at times but, its almost like, half of me wants to still stream for a living and the other half of me wants to quit all together. (part 3/3) so to say something like "dont focus on making money from livestreaming as ur number 1 priority" ordeal, is, in my opinion, kind of a bad thing to say to those that are like me that are nonstop struggling with making money on the side from a part time or full time while also doing streaming part time. thats like a slap in the face to us. why shouldnt we focus on making the most money we can from streaming as our main priority? whats wrong with that? i completely understand that its the "wrong" thing to do, but, in a world where we have to make ends meet, u sort of have to make the money issue ur main priority whether u like or not. sorry for massively rambling but, i just wanted to get this off my chest and in hopes that you will read every single thing i just said. sorry that i couldnt make this bold statement any shorter than it already is and that i couldnt give u a TLTR or TLDR version of it. bottom line is, im in as very tight situation where my job only pays me $11 an hour part time with very little amount of tips on top that isnt even split evenly across everyone for that matter, since the baristas take the majority of the tip money, make $12.50 an hour, and me and the rest of the employees as coffee "attendants" only get whats left over from the tip money. its a very sad life for a streamer like me whos desperate for as much money as possible from both streaming and a part time job. tell me your thoughts and opinions on all of this.

Hey man, just stumbled upon your videos as trying to learn how to create good content. I have 1 question. I play MMO's and am actively in discord with my lads. Now They don't want to be heard onstream so I've blocked discord voice. BUT, is it weird if I talk to discord but my viewers won't hear anyone replying. Or should I stay out of discord during stream? Or just put push to talk and try not to mess up when talking with chat vs talking in discord.
On my alt as not to promote. Fr dont bother looking at this account its a dud But is my concept good. Im unique. I have a full unique mindset and i do mean that humble. I have 50 in about 1 month and a half. So i genuinely cant be that bad. I mainly play games but for example a week on friday as my milestone achievement im doing a choose your own adventure book style stream. A full story i make for it where chat decides the outcome. Featuring rng etc. And do shorts and longform on youtube for my days off because its fun to just chill and edit. But two my true question here is if you have a mind. Capable of coming up with the most unique concepts and ideas. Is it ok to go full variety. And i am enjoying everything i do i dont see it as a chore. A chore is a job im doing. K hate that. This is what i believe i can truly do to get out.
I planned for 2 years and bought expensive equipment. I launched with 16 average viewers and had a super successful 3 months!! Turns out I hate talking and gaming. Completely brakes the immersion I apparently needed to enjoy games. Took away most of the fun from most games.... Loved the streaming part though and miss my little community so much
Yes, I'm just starting but no one talks in chat. I'm naturally shy and thought it would be a good idea to learn how to talk to different people. It can be hard to stay positive when you feel like no one cares what you do. I like to enjoy games in silence too. I just run out of stuff to say.
