Guys like him,Dee Snider,Sebastian Bach do have past issues that their egos have never resolved. I like guitar oriented music and he is a 3 chords song guy so not really for me despite his talent.
He has a good voice but he’s not a star and did nothing for motley crue except make them sound bland. It just didn’t work. He was never really in crue and the difference in the sound from motley when Vince came back was just massive. The album with him is I’m sorry to say absolutely terrible and so forgettable. The only song that was any good was hooligans holiday and that is very bland and monotone. They sounded like most other average bands at the time. Vince makes them stand out despite his shortcomings. Sometimes things just work. Just a shame Vince hasn’t stayed fit to maximise his vocals.
