I’m probably way out of the parameters of your demographic? I’m soon to 57, when I was younger I had prolifically oily skin. One upside of menopause is that it is now closer to being combo with a lean towards sensitive.
All that to say, I technically have no reason to be watching your channel? But I do because I love it, not just how informative it is but also your sense of humour and how you are 100% comfortable in your own skin, which imo is incredibly rare to find in people under 50. And today on top of all of those wonderful things about you, and some of my fellow subscribers have given me the gift of being introduced to new music! Music that I may never have come across otherwise. ❤ from 🇦🇺

TOTALLY agree with you on the necessity of an ingredients list. I won't buy anything if there's no ingredients list, and I flatten and save every box because I do go back at times to remind myself what's in there.
YES and the ingredients online are often incorrect. So frustrating BAH!!
I think exfoliating lip products should also come with a warning for those with shingles/herpes. Because they can activate the virus, much like acidic foods.

I bought all 3 of the Byoma lip products for myself and sister and each leaked. The ph one fell out of my sisters pocket and stained the couch 🙃

why is byoma so bad at packaging.. their moisturizer pumps didn't work for ages, i've heard some people say their serums can be a bit difficult to get out (although i found the hydrating one to be fine), and now this? byoma please hire on some more people in your packaging department lol

It was definitely not as bad as the oils, but it eventually started leaking. I noticed if I leave it upright on my nightstand at all times it leaked a lot less frequently!
I bought and sent a lot of skincare to my daughter for her birthday. Laneige bouncy face mask was one of many. She opened her care box today. I'll get feedback at some point.

I'm disappointed in Byoma! I received the lip mask and the lip oil. Neither leaked (yet) but I didn't realize the mask was exfoliating. I wish the mask and the oil containers were different colors. I wouldn't want to take and apply the lip mask while outside by accident
I ran into that exact issue of “which one is which”!
This got me to think'in of my favorite "blue" song. It's, Lady Blue, by Leon Russell. Brings back some bittersweet memories. But its all good now.

Hi Alice! 😀 New stuff - love new stuff! Byoma, a lip oil? I'm so intrigued, not with the leaking - but I do love trying new lip products. Have you tried The Inkey List new lip plumpers? I haven't yet, I saw that they have tinted ones now that look very nice. I always use too much cleanser and every single time I tell myself - why? why do I pump or squeeze too much out all of the time? I purchased the new TIRTIR toner (I have the regular one, not the light) - haven't used it yet though. I have fallen back in love with my Beekman Milk Shake (the hyaluronic acid & squalane toner mist) - I really like that product, kinda enjoy spraying that throughout the day. I have already used the new Laneige Sleep Mask - I found it to be very, very hydrating - it felt like I splashed water on my face. The Byoma lip mask is something I would love to try! I actually still haven't really found a lip mask that I love! I have tried many that I like - just not lovin them enough to repurchase and so I am trying every new one that comes out. I love rich, emollient lip masks 💋 - I like feeling them on my lips still in the morning. I have recently purchased so many new products (new to me) - and just so excited to try them - but I am so in love with the Heimish Eye Cream, that is going to be a definite repurchase! Same exact feels with “how is it May already??” I tried the original Inkey list product and found that I couldn’t use it - the taste was too hard for me to get past! Tbh I feel like I have a lot of lip product misses lol. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the Tirtir! And same with the milk shake. I feel like I set it aside for a while, come back, and go “oh wow this is a really good mist” lol!
Hi Alice, I'm always a little afraid of buying products with fragrance or essential oils, because I never know if I'll end up having to donate the product. The watery cleanser that doesn't dry me out is the Rohto Mentholatum Cleansing Foam (Hada Labo). I hope you are much better 😘

I have sensitive & dry skin and was going to test Mary & May after your video, but now I’m curious about Tirtir! I see they have a cleansing balm and a centella cleanser too 😍.

Hi Alice. I love your videos. I am currently using Cosrx snail cream on my face, would love to see your recommendation for korean moisturizers please. I want to change my moisturizer but I am afraid because i have extremely sensitive skin only Cerave and snail product works for me Most of your recos suit me like Jumiso peptides & roundlab sunscreen. I love that if you review products you include all of the ingredients so that I can review it while watching you. Keep doing it❤
Heavier or lighter? I like Chogongjin youngan Jin for heavier (more occlusive) and Mary & may idebenone for lighter (that’s “lighter per dry skin, not oily” haha!) oh and thank you farmer rice gel & cream is an underrated gel/cream: it has both in the jar and you choose how much of each you want each time you use it ☺️
Have you tried the Belif Moisturizing toner? I've seen reviews on the hydrating toner but not the newer one. Thanks!

The kopari SPF looks interesting. Bouncy moisturizers seem to be a thing. I've seen one from BeautyBio and the one from Doctorcos. In fact, the vendor made a point of stirring the doctorcos one to show how different the texture was from standard moisturizers and that it would be bouncy/plumping on the skin.
I’m absolutely loving all the focus on texture. Feels like we are getting next generation products in that sense!
I really want to try Kopari at some point since I you speak very highly of it, especially the face cream which sounds really nice. I doubt the mineral sunscreen will come to the UK though, due to the strict SPF laws here and many US sunscreens and makeup with SPF never come here :( I did not know Laneige released a new sleeping mask, gotta try that as it looks really nice, I like the pink packaging
Ah that’s right, I did hear the UK had changed their regulations as well. I don’t understand it: you’d think we would all be collectively trying to get folks to wear sunscreen. The best way to do it is to keep improving those formulas, not moving backwards! 😭
I definitely want to try the tir tir. Brianna has it but nnot sure if its the regular or light. My yesstyle haul finally got here. APLB, numbuzin res ginsengg firming cream. Its stout. Mary and may under eye cream , oui or something cleanser and oil for my trip snd the round lab sunscreen. Oh and more Numbuzin vitamin serum. I love it with vit c

Yup. I feel like there’s no way around *eventual* disappointment with blind buying fragrances/scented products. Definitely a benefit of brands providing samples!!

Hi Alice, it would be so helpful for me to know if you have had any allergic reactions to any mineral sunscreens as I am considering trying this one, but I’ve had an allergic reaction to both mineral sunscreens I tried? I never considered myself as someone with sensitive skin. I started Tretinoin last December. so it’s been about five months and I had allergic reactions to both mineral sunscreens I tried. So I’m scared to try a new one but obviously I need a sunscreen. I have a list of Japanese ones that I’m gonna order but I’m considering trying the Koppari first. I’m just concerned about the number of ingredients in it because I don’t know what exactly I’m allergic to in the mineral sunscreen. But at least if I get it from Elta, they’re probably good about returns versus if I order from overseas And have an allergic reaction, I’m pretty much probably stuck with those sunscreens.. thx!

Good video. Luckily? I'm too broke to try new products without reading alot of positive reviews. I Finally bought Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow and their Apad Serum. Maybe I'll pick up the TIr Tir toner next....the original one since my skin is dry.

@@AliceintheRabbitHole Thanks...I'm just gonna use the C-glow for awhile since if I use both now and I like I won't know which one is working well. I have freckles and they have faded but it's a daily ordeal with pigmentation products. I really like the Topicals Faded serum which I haven't used in years, but may get again.

The only thing that really grabbed my attention was the Kopari sunscreen. But I have so many sunscreen right now I have to use at least half of them up before I buy another.
I know the feeling haha. But yes, so exciting to find a good mineral sunscreen. Or simply a good western sunscreen for folks who share my chemical filter sensitivities (oh if only we had more approved UVA filters than just avo/oxy-benzone 😭)
Do you have any preliminary thoughts on the tirtir collagen eye cream vs Axis Y one? Also trying to decide between getting another Dr Ceuracle toner vs Tirtir light one. Need to restock both items so I can’t wait until your end of the month video! 🙏

The axis-y is a serum and it does sink right into my skin. Then I’ve been following with the tirtir in the AM. At first I thought I’d miss my tinted eye creams, but it’s such a lovely mid-weight, moisturizing texture and beautiful application that I really haven’t!
You could certainly do one or the other, but note they are quite different in texture!

I feel Laneige came out strong from social media. Now, they are banking on their name popularity, I personally don’t buy it, there is way more skin care availability that’s better for my buck 🤷♀️
I agree, I tried the OG Cream Skin and wasn't wowed like everyone else seemed to be. The hype made me so excited, but I was left underwhelmed and kind of disappointed. I won't repurchase because it was okay and I want skincare that's great or perfect for me.
Agree. Also, I've never been impressed with Laneige. I got one of their lip masks for something like $5 on clearance @ TJ Maxx. It was fine, but basic. Regular Eucerin is just as good and way cheaper, IMO

I do like innbeauty’s though they are a bit pricier unless you catch one of their sales. I think I’m still team balms > oils (kopari lip glossy lol!)

That kopari tint looks beautiful on your skin . Also the exfoliating lip thing reminded me I have that stupid glow recipe lip balm I got what forever ago in the 2 pack set with the little plastic bag and I saw it last night and was like probably need to throw that away the 🫐 one I never touched but I got rid of the watermelon like the first time I used it and had a crazy reaction. Can't believe I still have that thing . What 3 years now has to be.

I think it is only 30 SPF , I had heard good things but haven't tried it, I tried the tinted one on my hand in the sale because I thought about getting it but I got the new LE tint instead no SPF but I'm loving that so far for every day natural no makeup makeup . The kopari is probably more compared to the Tatcha though then the SF one .

Which funny enough was the same story with the jet lag mask for me. Instant reaction, no idea why!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Me too, I thought I was nuts because everyone loved the jet lag mask and I had an instant reaction, did u try the first release of it because they did change the ingredients list slightly more recent and took fragrance out . I also had a reaction to the eye cream but I didn't try the barrier cream because I was scared to spend the money then have another reaction because I already had it with the eye cream and jet lag. I thought putting Arica in a daily serum wasn't a good idea so I didn't bother with that one I just don't think that is a good ingredient on a daily basis. Thank goodness no reaction to the lip balm 🤣
i was wondering did you get permanent lipstick tattoo? i thought you didnt remove the lipstick but i figured it was permanent lipstick or maybe a lip stain? its a perfect colour for you anyway

Oh and speaking of blue and Laneige, I bought the new Intensive Moisturizer in the Sephora sale (it’s the darker blue version that’s supposed to be heavier than the original) and OH MY LORDT I have never fallen in love with a moisturizer so fast 😍 I’m regretting that I only bought the mini size 🥲
My skin has been SO grumpy and sensitive since starting some 8% hydroquinone pads from my derm. P&L Oasis Serum? burns. SkinFix Triple Lipid Moisturizer & Serum? burn. Eadem Cloud Cream? burns. Glow Recipe Guava C Serum? burns. But my sweet sweet savior and relief has been the THICC, stiff goodness of that Laneige Intensive Moisturizer (with peptides + squalane) 🤤 I love her. I have never been so moved by a moisturizer in my LIFE-and I have 20+ different moisturizers sitting on my bathroom counter (both k-beauty & western brands).
Context: oily/combo skin, concerns include occasional dehydration, congested pores/sebaceous filaments/blackheads, PIH. Climate is temperate (Great Plains states). Other moisturizers I’ve enjoyed include Olehenriksen Strength Trainer Peptide, Dr. Jart Ceramidin Skin Barrier, Wonjin Effect Melaless, Skin1004 Soothing Cream, Illiyoon Ceramide Ato, and Iunik Snail Repair. Notable moisturizers I haven’t tried: Abib Jericho Rose, Torriden Solid In Ceramide, and M&M Idebenoene Blackberry
