Thank you so much for taking your time to do this comprehensive video. It must’ve taken a long time. Just wanted to give you a Health tidbit. A friend’s dermatologist recommended using a gentle cleanser for washing their hands, like Ceravé. She had a very similar issue to you with the constant hand washing. Looove your channel. I feel like I’m sitting down with a friend.
@@JenPhelps lol I’m “mad” at you. I only like to wear a few things, I’m very picky about the way clothes feel, so I’m never tempted by creators’ links… except you also love ultra lightweight loose knit sweaters and perfect ones are hard to find but I must resist (ok checking the 40% off price after all…)
Now THIS is a Sephora guide! Marlena Stell did one like this the other day but she didn't include half the brands you did- wow! I love that you even added skincare and hair products. Also THANK YOU for the timestamps. I can't imagine how much work this must have been.
I saw her video, and I couldn't justify purchasing any of it at those high-end prices. Even if I had the money--130.00 for an eyeshadow pallette is ridiculous....sorry, no one knows who you are wearing on your eyes...it's all a personal thing unless you go around telling everyone lol.
@@janicestewart8291Especially when these tip brands give their products away for free to influencers and Sephora workers! So the average person pays all this money for so many people to get it for free😱😱😱.
Oh. My. Gosh Jen. So THIS was the video that took you so long! This is like a movie. I will be back in the comments later after I get my popcorn and candy and watch it. This will be fun!
Wow. A 2 hour video. NOW THIS IS A GUIDE. THE QUEEN OF GUIDES. thank you. It must have taken a long time to edit. Seeing the description box. Wow. Thank you
My makeup commentary dreams come true!! I can only imagine the work that went into this video. Thank you Jen. Grabbing some ice cream and settling in...
Wow! Thanks for doing this. What I love about you is how honest you are about any product, hi-end or affordable. You don't patronize a brand or put a brand on a pedestal just because they are hi-end. You give a real, honest unbiased review. I appreciate you so, so much for being here !
I am a germophobe also, working in a hospital setting does not help either, washing my hands all the time makes my hands super dry. the only lotion that healed my hands is gold bond. 17:10 and I am so sorry for the rude people! they just would never understand. my husband suffered from dry cracked skin also during the winter time and gold bond helped him too! I am glad you found something that helped you!
The Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream in the fragrance free version works well for me. You only need a little bit of it. Vanicream lotion and cream also work well for me. I also use these products on my face.
I dont know if this is good or not, but its aimed at men O'Keeffe and it's sold in hardware stores in the UK. I recommended to a weight trainer guitarist, and he said it helped 🤷🏽♀️ and if aimed at men, it's kinda has to do some work because they're not about to go into boots or have something girly! And try something with urea , and basting with cotton gloves at night
This will now be my Sephora encyclopedia! Thank you!! As for Dior, I am older and their concealer is a holy grail for me. It’s creamy and I also love using it as foundation. Again, thank you for this epic video!
WOW! Go Jen Go! One thing, not to be rude but from genuine concern: My hands healed a great deal after I started applying almond oil - covered by Vaseline - with white tube socks over - to go to bed every night for two weeks. Of course, I sleep with a cat, and she doesn't mind! I still do this routine at least twice a week; I garden always with gloves on, but they suck all the moisture right out of my hands while they protect from thorns, dirt and other abrasives. Also, I wash my hands frequently and tend to pick at my cuticles when I'm distracted or anxious about things. So the cure is like any other skincare issue: Steady as she goes. Simple is best, but you must be consistent. Thanks for the marathon video - there's a lot to consider here, and more than a few products and brands I'd like to try!
I developed eczema on my hands during junior high. One thing that helped a lot was always wearing gloves for kitchen cleanup and cleaning the bathroom. Also, I use Kirk's 3 in 1 Nourishing Cleanser in the fragrance free version for body wash and hand washing. I used fragrance free baby wash before I found the Kirk's. It really helps to use a fragrance free product for hand washing!
Your Doctorate in video filming and editing!! 🙌🏼 WOW!! You've outdone yourself. This is AMAZING. Thank you so much for creating this very informative and valuable content for us beauty consumers, who don't like wasting their hard earned dollars. 🙏🏼
Jen, this video will go down in history, it may have been 2 hours but the time flew by, at least for me. I know you put in the work for this one so thank you! 💕
You’re the kind of RUclipsr I appreciate. Always create relatable and current products videos. Whatever income you get from doing this, you totally deserved it. Love you~
Hi Jen I just wanted to tell you that I suffered for years with dry cracked hands. The one thing that cured this was changing my hand soap to Mrs Meyers Clean Day. It’s amazing good luck love your videos!
Liked the video just before started watching only for the fact of the hard work you has put on it!! And watching it now to see all your recommendations!! Always giving us super valuable and innovative content!! Definitely my favorite channel! Thanks Jen!! 💞👏🏻
Dior matte foundation is wonderful. Makes your skin look so smooth. They have other formulas for dry skin. I was using Estee Lauder Doublewear for years and love that one too.
This video is so helpful, even though there is no Sephora sale in UK. It was so good to hear about products no one talks about anymore but still really great.
Wow! I’m glad you did this video today!! Marlena stell did one kinda similar, but definitely not this in depth! I’m so excited to listen to your thoughts while walking my dog today!! (Okay, and maybe after work I’ll have to finish it up!!)
Jen, I would love to see some videos featuring one type of product and your opinion. For example compare all the liquid blushes you have and which work the best or consistency of each etc. Then maybe all the cream blushes. I noticed in this video A LOT of similar products and it got overwhelming. You could do product type series (blush; lips; etc). I think that would be awesome and helpful! Either way I love your content! Thank you!
Wow, this is absolutely wonderful, thank you,Jen! I'm willing to spend more for products that I feel are worth it, but spending a lot and being disappointed is the worst!! I'm going to be referring to this video again and again 🙏💛
You did an incredible job providing information on all of these brands!! I can't imagine the time and effort you put into this video! Thank you so much!❤😊
Good pick with Anastasia’s blush sticks! I love them, so creamy and they last all day long!!! I just had to throw mine away because it was expired, I was so sad! I love all of her pallets, too!
Thank you so much! I sat and really soaked in all of this information. I made notes and added many things to my cart. I would love to see a video about all the K-beauty stuff that you use. I purchased the Heimish foundation that you recommended and I absolutely love it!❤
I LOVE Caudalie! Their products are wonderful and worth the cost. I use LaCreme Premier Cru for the day and at night, the Reversatrol-Lift Night Cream which is luxurious and thicker for my dry skin. And I've been using the Elixir for years too LOL. I'll be trying a pore mask they have soon.
YES! Great video! For Dior, I really enjoy their Backstage foundation. The medium coverage and natural finish looks great on my very dry, 57 yr old skin. Even though it's fairly thin and just barely medium coverage, it withstands Houston's brutal summers of 110° with 90% humidity. It's awesome!
@@BrendaBostonGirl I only have the old one for now. I hear oily people don't like the new version, so crossing my fingers the new one will still work for me 🤞
Love these kinds of videos. I always check Costco and Sam’s club websites because they often carry high end brands and Costco Next for members only has amazing prices and sales on Korean skincare.
I am a new subscriber, and I have been looking back at some of your videos. I’m so grateful to find an influencer with cool toned content! While I love watching all of their videos, I really appreciate someone who recognizes what seems to be the minority😊Thank you! I look forward to more.
i'm not watching this with the intent to make a shopping list, but to have a better idea of what to look for when I am in a buying mood. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your videos! I'd say everything I have bought based on your recommendation has been amazing!
Love this video. I do notice a lot of companies are pulling out of Sephora and they are closing their stores in South Korea. Not trying to sound like a “ negative Nancy” but Sephora future doesn’t look to good. Ulta however, if you did that video it would be a five day video😂😂. Ulta is like a toys r us for a beauty store
Jen, I wanted to thank you for a couple of recommendations you've given us recently - the GoPure cream and the neutrogena lip glosses. I tried both and I'm already seeing a difference in my awful tech-neck and I can see why you like the lip glosses so much and I'm encouraged to try more from them. Thank you!
Thats a lot of work. Thank you. I will save the second hour for tomorrow morning, what a great treat. Well meaning advice you problably know… you can wear extra moistorizing handmasks at night using gloves and a good handcream to sleep-in. Or try wearing washable gloves during the day and change them when needed🌸 Happy easter🌷
Jen you have to try the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm. Yes it is $19, but with the Rouge 20% discount, it is worth trying. If you use it regularly on your lips it will help restore a more youthful color to them, and will help to define your vermillion border (where you would outline with lip liner). Plus, it's eye safe, so you can pat it around your eyes for extra moisture.
I have combination skin and the YSL primer is my favorite! Comforting for dry skin on my jaw and around my mouth and blurs pores on the front of my cheeks. Thank you so much for this comprehensive recommendation list and brand overview. I’ll be looking into some of these brands now that I’ve heard more about them.
The product I HIGHLY recommend from Bobbi Brown is her Face Base. I love that stuff. It’s a moisturizer/primer hybrid that is meant to be worn under make up. It is very thick and has a slight lemony scent that I like. The other day I didn’t wear it under my make up and I’m telling you I could tell a huge difference. My makeup didn’t last and my skin looked crackly underneath. I do have more oily skin but I use tretinoin and that gives me the flakies sometimes but this product hides that completely. It really makes a difference in how your make up lasts I have bought several mini sizes and I am also almost through with the full size and I will definitely repurchase. Also like her Eye Base as well I like the face one the best. ♥️😎👍🏼
Love the face base, I had a friend who has early access pick me up a set when Nordstrom had their sale, 2 big jars for the price of one. I’m sending my daughter a jar cause I don’t want it to expire, hopefully I can get another set on their next sale.❤
Hi that’s great but what about sunscreen underneath it ? Which sunscreen did you use if you used any ? And which foundation did you use on top of this face base?
@@SleeplessinOC Try the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen it light and sinks right into the skin, it’s a Korean brand that Jen had on one of her videos. I use all of my foundations with that Bobbi Brown face base, you don’t need to use a separate moisturizer after your skincare if you use it, a little goes a long way. Hope this helped.
Hi Jen, I heard 100 percent organic, hexaine free castor oul in a glass bottle makes your brows and eyelashes grow. Also a good moisturizer and anti inflammatory.
This was so comprehensive! I am definitely watching the whole video, but I'm breaking this into segments over a couple days. Wow, this must have been an enormous undertaking. Thanks Jen!
Thanks so much, Jen! Herculean task to cover all of these brands! You asked for recommendations for Dior products; I love the forever glow foundation. I have mature skin and this product just livens up my face while not being too glowy. Extensive color range that can take me from winter through summer. Highly recommend.
Jen I really appreciate your channel and brand, hard working, natural, never had an ever creeping bias for high end, really in touch with cost, love your calm energy and straightforwardness! Love from the UK.
Dior is a brand that is in my everyday routine. I use the Rosy Glow Blushes in various shades. I don’t have issues with hard pan. I do apply a thin layer of powder before applying my blush. It helps me with patchiness. I did have issues with their powder no powder, though. That powder kept getting hard pan. I also love their Forever Skin Correct Concealer. It is nice for the face and under eyes. It comes in an olive undertone.
On the Biossance squalane… it’s actually cheaper than the ordinary price per ounce. Also you can use coupons for Biossance and not for ordinary it is almost always excluded. Just wanted to point that out👍🏽
Interesting! I think my issue with the Biossance also, which I didn't mention is that the bottle is so large, it went rancid before I could finish it. So I like the smaller size of the Ordinary bottle. :)
Wow, Jen, thank you 😊!! I appreciate all of the effort & time that you put into this video for us ❤! You did a great job, as always😉! I love this. I was so excited to hear you talk about the Vegamore hair growth serum! I have wanted to try it, but I was very sceptical. Now that I know it worked for you, Jen, I am beyond excited to try it ♡!! I can't wait to pick up some of your other recommendations at the Sephora sale! These two videos will also be great for me to use as a reference in the future. Thank you, again. You're the best, Jen.❤
Thank you Jen for sharing your time making this video :) Many of the products I haven't heard of... seeing the swatches really does make a better choice in deciding which product I would purchase. I have repurchased the Milani Highly rated mascara many times now - I like it 😊 The mascara doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, removes easily with warm water, it's my favorite mascara 🥰 Thanks again Jen for all that you do 🤗 Happy Easter everyone 🌹
Wow! What an impressive video, Jen! A thorough review of what to buy or avoid at Sephora. Thank you so much for doing this video and including swatches and your thoughts. much appreciated. btw, I love the glow toner from Charlotte Tilbury. It glides on so smoothly, it feels like cashmere going on the skin. It makes my dry skin feel so nourished, it has lots of good ingredients. highly recommend. I also like her Magic Cream and I think it is a good substitute for the Tatcha moisturizer. I am on my 4th jar and it lasts a long time so the price seems worth it.
The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Oyster Pearl is probably my favorite eyeshadow ever. You got me hooked on the Pink Slip Lawless liner! I’d love to try their lipstick also. You didn’t mention The Inkey List! It’s comparable to The Ordinary and I especially love their Omega Water Cream for my oily combination skin.
Liquid foundation normally don’t work very well on my dry sensitive mature skin. I tried many from the drugstore and a few from Sephora….Dior, Haus lab, Clarins, Sephora brand and none of them worked except for Kosas revealer skin improving foundation. It feels almost soothing on my skin and it has pretty good coverage! You should give it a try. Thank you for this very informative video!
I love the Shiseido synchro radiant lifting foundation. My mature skin loves it. Doesn’t settle into lines, and gives a nice luminous glow, but not too glowy. It is one of my favorite foundations.
Wow Jen…what a review. I have a few that I have used. I agree on Living Proof. Whenever I go back to using it my hair is so easy to do. Love this thorough review. Thanks so much.
A lot of ppl love the Dior Foundations! & I'm excited that Dr Idriss is @ Sephora after all she's gone through!! I still need to try her skincare line!
I also have red scaly hands ALL the time. I have Raynauds an autoimmune disorder that causes your body to react as if you're in hypothermia for no reason. My hands are always dry no matter what moisturizer I use as well. I plan to start a channel soon and I'm already anticipating people saying things about my hands.
Thank you for putting SO MUCH EFFORT into this compilation. Your presentation is impeccable, as always, and your knowledge of products is vast. I learned so much about products I never even knew existed - THANK YOU. I cant believe that from all your subscribers, less than 4% bothered to leave a comment. A simple "thank you' for your effort might have been nice, really. I'm a long time viewer and you're one of the few excellent, informative source for all things make-up. Best wishes.

Thank you so much for taking your time to do this comprehensive video. It must’ve taken a long time. Just wanted to give you a Health tidbit.
I need to try it! Thank you!
I second this about the concealer!!!! 41, normal/combo skin and dark circles. I love this concealer so much!!!
WOW!
I just realized and saw your product list by minute, oh my gosh, I’m so impressed with the amount of work you put into it. Wow Jen~ ❤️❤️❤️
JEN! I’d love to see a video on what products you would use if you were getting married! Like, Huda powder or something else? Denona concealer?
As another fair, dry, and maturing skinned gal, I love Shiseido’s Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting foundation!
Liked the video just before started watching only for the fact of the hard work you has put on it!! And watching it now to see all your recommendations!! Always giving us super valuable and innovative content!! Definitely my favorite channel! Thanks Jen!! 💞👏🏻
Wow--what a video! I love that your content isn't sponsored and you're always so candid and honest, I've learned so much from you...thanks Jen! xx
Shhhhhh!! Don't tell all the secrets!! Don't want things to sell out before I can hit the checkout button at midnight 🤣🤣🤣
I loveeee ABH cheek sticks and the same colors you love! You’re right, I have ever seen anyone review but by far my very fav blush!
BEST SEPHORA REVIEW!!🩷💓💋💓🩷 YOUR HAIR LOOKS FABULOUS today, Jen!!🥰❤💄🛍👑
Dior - the eyeshadow quints are excellent.
Dior matte foundation is wonderful. Makes your skin look so smooth. They have other formulas for dry skin. I was using Estee Lauder Doublewear for years and love that one too.
whoa. this is the video to end all videos! An absolute gold standard reference video for years to come.
Thank you for all the work you put into this channel. It's so appreciated ❤😊
I love the Armani liquid eyeshadow in Cold Copper. It's a beautiful metallic taupe and super easy to use. I think you would love it!
Your shopping guide videos are second to none and so very helpful. Thanks Jen! 🌹
This video is so helpful, even though there is no Sephora sale in UK. It was so good to hear about products no one talks about anymore but still really great.
Sephora UK seriously sucks
Dior backstage foundation is my favorite foundation ever!!!
Jen!! 🥰 What a treat (and perfect pre-sale timing)! Thanks so much for putting this together. And Happy Easter!
Thank you!
Wow!! I’m sure you’re exhausted. Longest RUclips video I’ve ever watched! I had to split it up into two sessions but very worth it.❤
Wow, this is absolutely wonderful, thank you,Jen! I'm willing to spend more for products that I feel are worth it, but spending a lot and being disappointed is the worst!! I'm going to be referring to this video again and again 🙏💛
I really want to try the Dior liquid Blushlighter things. They look amazing
Wow, Jen, I can't imagine the work involved in an epic video like this. THANK YOU! The is the best guide I've seen.
Thank you so much! I sat and really soaked in all of this information. I made notes and added many things to my cart.
I would love to see a video about all the K-beauty stuff that you use. I purchased the Heimish foundation that you recommended and I absolutely love it!❤
Love the Kosas sunscreen even though it has a light scent. Looks good on mature skin.
I’m interested in that one for summer - do you have the reformulated version or the older? I’ve heard mixed things about the new one.
@@BrendaBostonGirl I only have the old one for now. I hear oily people don't like the new version, so crossing my fingers the new one will still work for me 🤞
Thank you!
Love these kinds of videos. I always check Costco and Sam’s club websites because they often carry high end brands and Costco Next for members only has amazing prices and sales on Korean skincare.
One of my Dior favourites is the Diorshow 5 Couleurs palette in Soft Cashmere (cool toned neutral eyeshadow).
I am a new subscriber, and I have been looking back at some of your videos. I’m so grateful to find an influencer with cool toned content! While I love watching all of their videos, I really appreciate someone who recognizes what seems to be the minority😊Thank you! I look forward to more.
Aw thank you! I'm so glad you're here. 🥰
I don't shop at Sephora, but I am settling in with a drink and a snack to support Jen.
This is thee best Sephora video ever!!! I love long videos like this one. Thank you so much for all the details. You are so helpful and kind.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dior forever skin glow foundation is very pretty on the skin. Would recommend
Omg Easter came early. Jen, you rock. This is going to be epic. Have a beautiful holiday. We’re finally getting warmth and full sun on our coast. ❤️
This has been the video I have been wishing for, but more about for drugstore brands! This video must have been hard! Ty 🥰
I'll have to do a drugstore version next!
WOW! A lotta work. I think we'd all love (& appreciate ) another one like this again! Good job!
Holy cow!! 2 hrs! Thank you for your attention to detail.
i'm not watching this with the intent to make a shopping list, but to have a better idea of what to look for when I am in a buying mood. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your videos! I'd say everything I have bought based on your recommendation has been amazing!
Thanks for the video Jen!! I love the same Anastasia products you use as well.
Thank you Jen for this amazing video. You work so hard for us and you are VERY much appreciated and loved ♥️♥️😎😎👍🏼👍🏼
Your hair looks so good!! Thanks for the videos
Thank you! This was great . Happy Easter 🌷
Dior has my favorite foundation! The Backstage Face and Body is *chef's kiss* ❤
Absolutely loved the video, boy, you put in a lot of work!! Thanks Jen!!!! I always look forward to all of your videos!
@@BlingyBea thats awesome! Yes one big jar lasts a very long time. I bet your daughter will love it 😎
Ngl, i thought the Aldi dupe was good
Hi that’s great but what about sunscreen underneath it ? Which sunscreen did you use if you used any ? And which foundation did you use on top of this face base?
@@SleeplessinOC Try the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen it light and sinks right into the skin, it’s a Korean brand that Jen had on one of her videos. I use all of my foundations with that Bobbi Brown face base, you don’t need to use a separate moisturizer after your skincare if you use it, a little goes a long way. Hope this helped.
Thank you for all of the hard work you put into this! I trust your reviews above so many others! ❤
Thanks Jen!
Such a great video! I appreciate all your hard work and honesty!❤
Smashbox recommendation: I love the lipstick and lipliner together. Smooths my lips and lasts well and fades well.
Thanks so much, Jen! Herculean task to cover all of these brands! You asked for recommendations for Dior products; I love the forever glow foundation. I have mature skin and this product just livens up my face while not being too glowy. Extensive color range that can take me from winter through summer. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much! That sounds awesome!
I recommend their glow foundation too and their backstage highlighter. It is so pretty. You get 4 colors in one package
The NYX brow pen would always leak on me so I switched to the Milani weekend brow and I love it❤
I like the Weekend Brow but I can't find a color match, they're all too warm. :(
You always look stunning...I'm a germaphobe n a nurse, n my hands are always dry n im proud when they aren't cracked! Ty for the video
I just saw your community note about this video and lo and behold it was posted a minute ago! 😂 Looking forward to watching this!
My friend bought the dyson dryer/curler @ Costco for $299 around Christmas. I refrain cuz I know my hand would get tired during the process.
Caliray has an eye brightening concealer everyone is raving about that I want to try
Actually I have a dior liquid matte lipstick and I am obsessed! It is not drying, long lasting and soooo creamy. You should give it a try Jen! Love🫶
Love the Dior concealer - beautiful!! I'm over 50 and worked so well.
Oh I need to try it!!
@@JenPhelps the forever skin.
The Dior forever foundation is amazing ❤❤❤
The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Oyster Pearl is probably my favorite eyeshadow ever. You got me hooked on the Pink Slip Lawless liner! I’d love to try their lipstick also. You didn’t mention The Inkey List! It’s comparable to The Ordinary and I especially love their Omega Water Cream for my oily combination skin.
What a comprehensive guide! Appreciate the time and work u put into it. Took me awhile to get thru it all but totally worth it!!😊
Liquid foundation normally don’t work very well on my dry sensitive mature skin.
Dior backstage foundation; the best. Good shade range.
The Dreamcoat line is excellent. I have the curly hair formula.
Aw I hope you don't let it deter you! Yes I have gotten a few mean comments but most people have been very kind and helpful!
Love your makeup today. Very flattering on you. And thanks for all of the work you did to get this long video out to us. It will be very helpful.
Incredible! I love how you even took the time to check if a specific product was sold at Sephora.
