That's the real rock 1968 The Animals Eric Burton sang it all so greatly sounds and drums and keyboard Excellent Music And Legendary Performance ❤️❤️❤️🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵💙
This version of the Animals was stellar, Danny McCulloch’s driving bass, Victor Brigg’s undistorted lyrical lead playing, and John Weider frequently on 12 string had a uniquely psychedelic sound.
John Weider was a lethal combination. Lead guitar and violin. Then in Family he was bass guitar and violin as he was replacing Rick Grech who had left to join Blind Faith.
I wish I had been born earlier so that I could have attended Montarey.....thank God he wrote about it and that it can be experienced by subsequent generations.....born in 67!!!!
i became friendly with Danny McCoulogh online we would chat i bought his book and was about those years they lived on uppers no money, he told a story about Noel Redding begging for new bass strings they were all taken byt the record companies..
Absolutely brilliant 😎

Now you’re talking GREAT video!
Beat Club eat your heart out over it
What a great performance. Would be nice if the cameraman decided to show the musicians on Monterey
The way he sings helps men in particular get their anger into perspective without actual violence
Well said.

McCulloch’s bass was pristine! It’s the best in “A girl named sandoz” most underrated animals song!
THANK YOU MATE - THE BEST !! 🎧🎸🔊🤟🤟🙏
I saw them at this time. They were so good!
Andy Summers was there ( right?)
Wow! Thanks for this!
I love Eric Burdon! !!
에릭은 락을 노래하지만 그의 순수함과 젠틀이 너무 매력적이고 멋있어 보이네요 에릭 좋아요

Nice post
quite an interesting band...Vic Briggs on lead guitar played a lot of great things, rarely gets mentioned ....a class player.
John Weider and Vic Briggs. What an awesome double lead combination!

Reminds me a bit of Peter Green/Danny Kirwan-era Fleetwood Mac

Everyone: "Crowds are so boring today, everyone just films with their phone and no-one dances"
Also crowds in 1968: 01:44
