What a pleasure it was to hear you views . I am hoping to move there very soon . I am a young fit 64 year old . I like how you living and where you are. .
It's been Informative, and such beautiful tour around Ubud. People says Ubud is a heart of Bali culture. It's absolutely true. I was in Ubud spending time with my extended family from Canada when I lived in British Columbia. So we spent together for little adventure around like traveling to places like paddy terrace, orange plantation and many others. The most common and enjoyable tourist attractions to me was when I spent time in around temple with night amazing people dramatic of ancient Hindu and beautiful Balinese dance show. Touch the heart of ancient Balinese it's self. Beautiful people of heart and culture. Try local culinary around Ubud should be spectacular local cuisine recipe. In Kuta or Jimbaran you may probably find best seafood, just like I found it around Pataya in Thailand or Mue Me beach in Vietnam. Anyway, if you love the natural beauty of green green paddy field, Ubud is the most beautiful peaceful heaven in the world. Enjoy your stay. Matursuksma.
I’m sorry I’m just seeing this now!!! I loved reading your experiences through Ubud. I can see that you really connected with this magical place! Thank you so much for taking the time to share ❤️
This video is literally my first video of u that I've watched and I love it. I'll be going to Bali again in June and can't wait to explore again! Sandra x
Sandra. Thanks so much for the compliment. It's a strange thing...putting my face on camera but I just try to be myself. So this comment is encouragement to keep doing just that.
The locals Balinese will go out of there way to offer hospitality at their detriment. They are a beautiful people and will share what little they have. It's a beautiful place to visit and remember to help out all the locals you meet
I actually agree with this 100%. The more time I spend in Bali the more I realise how Balinese culture is becoming endangered. Keep spreading this word!
Such a great video. So much great info that was shared and has helped me create an itinerary. I,m currently based in China. This will be my first Solo vacation travel. Please can you share with me more awesome ideas on a 5 day stay in Ubud and 3 day stay in other parts of the Island. last be not least..... the amazing pictures? taken by yourself or does Bali render a service for someone to take pics for you? Thank you for your response!

Checkout Udamahtu Villas in Megati- bike ride to through the rice fields to the beach. Relaxing, off the beaten path. My wife is Balinese, we visit frequently.
Hi there!! I love your videos! Very informative. I’ll be going to Bali in few weeks. The drivers you mentioned are they only available through Instagram?
How beautiful. I would love to it the water falls but I have arthritis in my ankles. While I can walk on relatively flat ground and some climbing I am wondering how steep the path to the falls is. Thanks
Hi Sue! Not gonna lie, the hikes down to the waterfalls are pretty steep! But a magical water experience that you CAN have is visiting the town of Amed, and going out in a fishing boat at 6am. The most incredible experience.
I just discoverd your channel!❤️ so professional and unique😍 i am also planning my trip to Bali as a female Solo Traveller. How did you film the drone scenes? Did you do it by yourself? Looks amazing😍😍😍
I can’t wait to go for my honeymoon!! I read some Bali waterfalls have leeches and you should bring water shoes. Have you experienced this? Great video!
Honeymoon in Bali? Dream come true! No and no. I've been to these waterfalls many times. And no leeches on me. As for shoes, I say flip flops and barefeet are all you need! Get in touch with nature!
Agreed! Heads up, ya'll: Ubud is a small town with a delicate economy. And so, GrabTaxi and GoJek aren't allowed here. Check out my Facebook group called Women in Bali where you'll find a list of Ubud drivers
Hey Natalie! Good question! Kanye Lampo gets extremely crowded which is why I go there first as I think it’s more special than the others! I say just choose two waterfalls! Enjoy your time there. And you’ll avoid crowds by default.
If you don’t know how to ride a scooter bike how do you learn? It seems like that’s the best way to travel in Bali. But everyone seems to just hop on 😂 is it that easy
SO! I recommend taking lessons - which is what I did when I learned how to ride in Thailand. So if you go in my facebook group, Women in Bali, search "lessons" and you'll find a girl who will teach you. Otherwise, just post in the group and ask. I don't recommend just hopping on and riding!
Thanks so much. I just suffered a miscarriage last week and I think a trip to Bali is what I need. I’m planning on staying there for a few months starting in February. I just need to feel like there’s a reason to live.
Hey @Zaid! Good question. Learning to ride a motorbike AND then learning how to navigate Bali traffic takes a bit of time and care. I don't recommend just hopping on a bike and zooming off into the sunset. Take a lesson with Bali Scooter Lessons (facebook.com/baliscooterlessons/). They over beginner lessons all over the island. Now, is it legal? Technically, you should have an international permit. Americans can go into AAA and get a scooter license in 20 mins. BUT most travelers in Bali dont have a permit. In Denpasar, the police might fine you 500k for not having a permit...but then let you drive away. In other parts of Bali, no one cares. The alternative to ALL of this is...GoJek. It's like Uber but for motorbikes. Just download the app. I hope that's helpful. Wear your helmet!
Bali is a dream! Awesome video! Ubud is one of my favorite places ever. I am currently living and traveling around Asia solo. Very relatable video :) thanks for sharing. Check out my channel for more travel videos.
Hope not to offend you, let’s make some conscious , very very easy to say about bags “pro tip” over 200k (13 USD)rip off… I I’d like to see you doing those bags with the salaries they have in those countries or make the sales to tourist like you from 7 to 9 or 10 every day.. they don’t go to take a bath in flowers in the afternoon, they go back home to cook for the family… then you go to the mall and pay to apple or to those fancy bags whatever they ask and I’m sure there is no video of you saying what a rip off or bargaining…..just saying…
The driver looked so nice and professional !
My drivers are some of my closest friends here!
Wow absolutely gorgeous Ubud video Alexa. Bali is also one of my favourite island in southeast Asia. New friend here. Please take care and stay safe.

How did I JUST see the comment?!? I’m so sorry! For this video, I worked with an incredible photographer! But lately, it’s just me and my drone!
