I hate that UBI has disrespected the history of your country for their own selfish reasons while exploiting my race for profit. This is disgusting and needs to stop. I am a Greek gay guy, that over the years was introduced to the Japanese entertainment series, like Dragon balls, yugioh, and etc, thanks to the Dubs they had, but really enjoyed the series even more when i got the chance to see them on their original language (and not force changed translations or several "4kids" censoring). Over time, I searched and learned about Japanese culture, and i got really respect it and their people for all their traditions, and stories. I say all this because I fully support them with this disrespect they are facing towards their very nation and history, from some people that have zero respect other than how to make more money, and openly lie again and again, each time they come out to "correct us, and so us why we are wrong". Well, it is their Canadian adjacent division Quebec that is making the game. I don't know how much say or whatever the main French branch put into it. Ubisoft has different divisions that make different games in AC Franchise and their other works.

You are right. There's literally games with a black person as protagonist and it's very well made such as Spiderman Miles Morales, Prototype 2, GTA V many other games. People who defended AC shadows and reprimanded those to criticise the game are blind to the forced DEI narrative from Ubisoft. You are right. There's literally games with a black person as protagonist and it's very well made such as Spiderman Miles Morales, Prototype 2, GTA V many other games.
