I had my first Woodie mounted . The house we bought on the lake 1 1/2 years ago that`s all I see here going to get me some Woodies this year . Good video
I drew A1FEB on New years day. Didn't draw Sta 3/4, 5 or 2 which I have hunted before. Have you been out there? A bunch of guys were saying not to use decoys also and I can't figure out why? Hell it's right up the road from 3/4, how different can it be?
+Issac very great guns and very good ammunition I am going for a guided goose trip in New York and I am actually using black cloud with a Winchester sx3 but hey love the videos man keep up the great work
+Issac they should but idk we just really dont see many of them my brother is 21 and has hunted since he could hold a gun and i dont think hes ever shot a drake and if you know what ducks unlimited is in there magazines if theres a picture of blue wing theres probably 1 for every 20 or so btw if your not affiliated with ducks unlimited you should be its a great organization my dad was the state chairman here in ok and all the money from sponsors and what not goes to saving breeding grounds and nesting grounds
Thanks for the love! Hunters have done a lot for Waterfowl and many other spices through proper management (praise Teddy!) . I love the comments I'm getting about Blue Wing. For my first two years of hunting Waterfowl I only shot Ring Necks and Blue Wing, with just one Blue Wing being a Hen. I didn't know why, but the bird looked different to me(as a novice and never seeing a Hen before) so I looked pretty stupid to the FWC Officer as he showed me the differences. I would try to think "outside the box". . . So, If you or your brother are shooting at the front bird every time, switch it up! (watch my Wigeon video). If you can't bag two birds when they fly in, just wait till they land and hit your drake! Or do like me and leave the dec's and just still hunt. Good luck bro and thanks for the sub!
this dud got happy over a woodie those are so common in north Louisiana there a damn nuisance where I hunt limit out everytime on woodies but the teal is a prize up hear

+Issac Oklahoma we see plenty of blue wings but not drakes
Well that's strange. They should be flying together right?
+Issac they should but idk we just really dont see many of them my brother is 21 and has hunted since he could hold a gun and i dont think hes ever shot a drake and if you know what ducks unlimited is in there magazines if theres a picture of blue wing theres probably 1 for every 20 or so btw if your not affiliated with ducks unlimited you should be its a great organization my dad was the state chairman here in ok and all the money from sponsors and what not goes to saving breeding grounds and nesting grounds
