But I went back to the beginning when they went to volunteer, but they were surprised that they arrived a week early. The hostess, Maryam, offered them to explore the place where they disappeared and warned them not to. They went alone, but they refused to go with Guide F, who wanted them to go with him, whose farm there was. They took the dog with them, but it was very difficult and painful when I learned that they had found Lisan's skin And pieces of her own bones, Chris’s pelvis, and also Lisanne’s amputated foot in the shoe. Too many variables. Was their battery fully charged at the beginning? Did they have a spare battery? (I always took one when OS). As you noted, how often did they use the LCD to review photos? Is there unreleased video etc
No one who has access to the case files or the forensic reports knows the date of the images up to April 1, 2014, as this is neither investigated nor mentioned. We know this because we have analyzed everything, what is in there. Why this important question is not part of the official files ( as so many others) is incomprehensible. But someone must have the SD card and be able to provide information about it. As this has not happened so far, I have no hope that this will happen in the future.
Please note that the photos move from the album position to the panorama position, which may indicate that one of the girls was taking photos with an outstretched hand, moving it from side to side and changing the position of the camera with the palm of her hand. It can also be assumed that the girl who was taking photos was sitting behind her friend's back, hence the photographed hair.Perhaps the girl sitting behind was trying to pass the camera to the girl sitting in front and there was an involuntary click.And my opinion is that these photos were the last chance of the girls in the terrible pitch darkness to illuminate the camera.
10:30 I was going to say. I'm sure you could get a lot more photos than 344 or 444 even if the battery was technically 'dead'. Maybe in a desperate situation the battery might power up long enough to get a last few flash photos in, too.
Do you know how to tell what year a battery is made? My battery says RDLH 2013.4. Not sure if that is the date made. the NB-6L has 1000 mAh while the NB-6LH has 1060 mAh. I have the NB-6L battery.
I wonder how the photos we know got onto the Internet. Leak? What makes me wonder is whether we know all the photos? Or maybe some photos exist but are kept by the police/family. I don't mean this one missing photo, but others. And whether the family may know what happened, but for some reason they do not want to make it public.
So, you have a Canon SX270 HS? If so, try this: on a pitch black night, try to take a flash picture with your finger blocking the pop-up flash. Does this result in a mysteriously missing photo that can't be recovered?
Hell, Mr. BackpackerCoach, I have a remark, which may not be helpful, but one can never know. When I have recorded a video with my Playstation 4 device, and watch it afterwards, I notice, that sometimes a few seconds are skipped. I recently learned, it has something to do with the hard drive being too fragmented. I know, that a PS4 and a Canon photo camera aren't the same thing, but they ARE both digital devices. However, I personally think, the Panamanian investigators mishandled the camera.
I dont think there is really a way to recreate the amount of pictures. Because there is so many things we dont know. As you already said we dont know If they have looked at the pictures in the camera. We dont know If they charged them themself inbetween, I for example would have definitly charged the can myself If i know i walk a nice path and the camera is maybe ready down more than half way. The outside temerature is also important on the camera the battery in normal trmperaturen lets say 18 degree celsius is working longer than beeing always used in 30 degrees Celsius which IS the Weather in Panama and on the humitity thats Not great for technical devices.

Yes, that is one of the great mysteries of this case. Either you have to believe the times and dates on the camera or you have to believe the witnesses. Have you watched this video of mine? No way they could take so many night photos with flash unless the camera has been fully recharged . But they were in the jungle , how can they recharge the camera ? My hypothesis > Someone else did because he spent over 30 minutes in the girls' room doing that 🔌📷 Some say he actually entered the room more than one time .
It looks like a possible survival situation,I think the brightness difference in the Flash was because it was getting covered or partially covered . In the frame where we can see the ripped tourist map and potential crisp tub silver bottom , this might be them trying to use the paper as tinder and then use the flash of the camera as the igntion by holding the paper in close contact with the flash lense. I have experienced flash lenses get hot, i had some issue with a mobile phone flash in 2009 , it got hot!. Maybe not hot enough to start a fire but the girls were maybe trying to. This also gives us a possibility for the odd angles of the photos , the frequency of the shots and why hair and possibly edges of fingers/face might be so close to the camera, basically arms length. In simple terms , the camera may have been on its back / side as they went through this process, turning their heads away at the moment of the flash so not to blind themselves whilst having part of a finger hold the paper on the Len's. i also think that repeated charges of the flash would slow down because the internal components/software would try to stop the flash over heating on contineous use .( Safety precaution). We can also see the branch with the two bags , a possible way to protect the phones when crossing a body of water or preparing to. It would seem that they were alive at this point if the above scenario fits. I struggle to think of any other reason for this sequence of picture's.
You do such a great job dissecting photos can you please do this with the police body cam and phone video of aliens in Las vegas from a year ago. An 18 yr old called 911 and you can hear the call. The police body cam is 2 blocks away and catches what the 18yr called. You can see "them" and it was all over the big news channels. Neighbors said govt vehicles showed up and got pics of their cams they installed. The civilians on the police cam were not made to put away their weapons in the mayhem. A year later the 19yr old keeps same set of events. Please use your skills to help us see what's in those machines in their back yard. If not that's ok too. 😊
Was it possible for someone to put the girls camera card into another device and retake these night photos? Is this possible? And what would he get from this? Would this change the data of the photos? there is reflection , the reflection of face from the glass and you can see the photographer or the person who may have edited these photos.

The branch with two bags does seem like it’s somehow connected with the two phones. The bags were made into phone sized pockets (looks like to me).

Short answer no. And yes it would show a different camera took the photos in the meta data. There is NO reflection.
