Just remember this: A bad day at home school is still better than a good day at public school. Hang in there! 😀

You can try switching the location of where you do school (playground, park or even a different room of the house), search online for homeschool groups that meet for free playdates, search also for free homeschool field trip ideas in your area. Use what you already have and get creative. I hope this helps!

We use to do powerhomeschool but it just been too much work and overwhelming so I just been have him do work out of school books.

Hey I’m sorry I took so long to respond. First I want to say, remember when we think we are behind we are not behind bc we don’t need to follow anyone else’s standards or grade levels. Try to remember that and go at your pace. With that being said, I feel you bc we are “behind” for where I want my kids to be bc we moved and all but we are homeschooling 6 weeks on and 1 week off all year. That will give us adequate work time and breaks as well and time to catch up. I would recommend doing math and language arts every day but alternating science and history, possibly doing Science Monday, Wednesday and Friday and History on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would also start with the most challenging subject first and knock it out of the way. It’s what they call “eat the frog.” And in between the hard subjects, slide in something fun or simple like reading out loud to them or solo reading, maybe an educational game or some little assignments like math facts, spelling games, or handwriting or typing. Try to celebrate any holidays by learning about them and trying to sprinkle a little bit of fun here and there. I have a playlist on adding fun to your homeschool. I’m going to make a video this week on how I schedule my home school and try to add variety and fun, so be on the lookout for that. I hope this helps you.
