Magneto outright _refusing_ to get the fuck back down from his flying mode with Wolverine jumping up at him like a dog trying to get a cat up in a tree, and then finally getting comboed so hard by the pissed off Wolverine he got dizzy. This game had some priceless moments at times.

I never played this before, but I definitely need to. My first game Marvel Capcom game was Marvel Super Heroes, I had no idea at the time that there was another Capcom Marvel fighting game before it.
The Doom I was 11 when this came out and I fell in love with it instantly. Magneto was and is one of my favourite Marvel characters and this is his most powerful playable incarnation in any video game. His stage Avalon is a multi-layered masterpiece of design.

If we play this in manual mode, we can make wolverine heal himself during battles - and that's is one of his special powerup skills. Also, omega red who can drain opponent's hp. If you are good psylocke user, you can easily counter any opponent's grab - with a damaging kick.
Never been married, no kids, will likely die alone but my biggest regret was selling this game for Saturn when I was presumed down on my luck. Biggest regret!
Pretty cool, though as far as I know, Wolverine can't fight Magneto, because Magneto can just rip him to shreds with his own bones. I haven't read many of the comics though.

I look up the game on amazon and see a picture of the disc art and it looks familiar... I look in my PS1 game case and see it right there lmao wow... I bought it for like 3 bucks from gamestop and it was scratchy so I never took the time to play it. PSX games get super slow when they get scratched.
+tekknking the psx version kinda suck honestly. You're better off with the arcade or saturn versions (the pc version is alright but you can't pull off combos at all, which is really stupid)
